Precious Metals Fine Motors, David's spot. I kinda stumbled upon it randomly while I was hunting for a place to consign my wheels, and man, what luck!Walking into the shop, I was hit with a wave of "whoa" at all the sweet rides on display and how spick-and-span everything looked. I could tell I was in the right place. David's all about that pride in his space, and it totally shines through.David himself. Not your average sales dude, let me tell ya. He's like a walking encyclopedia of wheels, and he's straight-up honest about how he rolls. Plus, his contacts list is longer than a highway, and his marketing game is on point.Sold my custom '54 Chevy pickup in under six months, thanks to David's magic. If I ever need to buy or sell again, you bet David's my go-to guy. Seriously, give him a shot.

Amazing experience from beginning to end! David s passion for his cars and for those that loves cars shines through! We found the same year and model (1960 Triumph Tr3) that my dad had in 1961 which he had to sell after birth of my brother .we were able to recreate my Dad s passion for the car on his 83year birthday!

There was a 3-day delay in a loan check from my credit union to be cleared in order to take possession of the 62 Jaguar XKE that I purchased from David Young at Precious Metals. Although as inconvenient as this wait time was, it gave me an opportunity to personally witness both the business operations and the personal touch that David provided to me as a customer. David s demeanor and personality assured me that I was purchasing from the best dealership possible and he went out of his way to do whatever he could to close the deal in the best way possible. If I could give David Young 6 stars, I would! Hands down the most knowledgeable, trustworthy and nicest businessman I have worked with in many years! We entrusted our storied 1960 Corvette that my Father purchased in 1960 new, and held on to it for over 63 years, until we turned it over to David at Precious Metals. David turned an emotional experience for all of our Family, into a pleasurable experience and was true to his word until the day he handed us over a check. If you are even CONSIDERING buying or selling your classic car, or any car for that matter, if David will take you on as a client - look no further in San Diego. Finally, I rarely IF EVER write a review and only do so if it is deserved...Joy.

David helped me sell my 65 Mustang and it was such a fantastic experience. I was a little nervous at first consigning my beloved Fastback, having never consigned a car before. David is so professional, so honest, and has such a large network of prospective buyers, he made the whole process incredibly easy. He had the car sold in 3 days! It was such a great experience that I m going to have David sell another car of mine.

Recently purchased a 1968 VW Bus in immaculate condition from David. We re in Michigan so everything was done remotely. He provided every bit of information requested, thoroughly and promptly. Took an extensive video of every facet of the vehicle, including cold startup. Received the vehicle with no surprises whatsoever. Couldn t be happier. Highly recommended.Pete Egler

I bought this 55 Chevy wagon sight unseen and David made it very comfortable and easy with his knowledge and details of the car. Also, shipping it across the country can make you feel a little nervous but he put my mind at ease. There was communication throughout the whole transaction. When I received the car it surpassed my expectations, its definitely show quality to say the least.If you're looking for someone who is knowledge,reliable and honest look no further than David .

Dealer sold a Range Rover 1994 presented in excellent condition with original paint and in excellent working order. When I received the car, the car had been repainted to cover the rust. The car had oil leaking on exhaust pipe, transmission fluid leaks. The car could not pass inspection because of the rust. The car was sold for $22,500 which is the market value for a range in excellent condition. That car is not worth more than $5,000 for parts. Got an estimate for $8,000 just to put the car in working condition. This does not even address the work necessary to address the rust.Dealer refused to take the car back. He is a liar and cannot be trusted.

I had a great experience working with David to sell my DMC Delorean Time Machine. I was simply too busy and felt like I lacked the network to find the right buyer for this special car. David made the entire process virtually effortless and was able to get the price I was hoping for in a reasonable timeframe. Bought a 69 Vette. Car was purchased as is and had minor issues when I first took possession. David and team fixed every one of them, never charged me. Guys are true professionals. More interested in reputation than making a quick buck. I look forward to doing continued business with them. Every restoration shop I have dealt with has been flakey .until now.

Bought a 1967 Chevelle and David helped me out. Very professional. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I referred my brother who's looking to buy a classic Corvette and I will most likely buy from David again. David was kind enough to deliver the car from San Diego to the Los Angeles area. The showroom was clean and had some impressive cars. I'm now enjoying my new beautiful car thank you David.

When my father passed away and left behind a collection of rare exotic cars in his estate we were in need of appraisals. I started calling around and David was the only one who seemed to understand the kind of cars we had. When we spoke on the phone he seemed genuinely excited to see the collection and was able to put together a package deal for the entire collection. I eventually settled on David Young because of his passion and appreciation for the cars not only for the value but the history behind each one. He took extra time to assure his assessments were acurate and true to the current market for which I am very happy. Thank you David and I will recommend you in the future to friends and family.

Precious Metals gave me a white glove purchase experience from salesman David who lived up to every advertised thing he said about the 1965 Mustang fast back. I trusted him as did others on his testimonial page to deliver me an outstanding car not needing to have it independently inspected before purchase. He succeeded royally in this regard as well as giving me a memorable experience.David explained that when he took over sales from the restructured company it turned over a new page confirmed by the deluge of positive testimonials of which I had reviewed and counted on to make the purchase. Based upon my rewarding experience I will not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Precious Metals and kudos to David one of the few honest salesmen in this business.

When my father passed away, David did a written appraisal for my father's 1927 Model T. Since this was for a donation (and at the end of the year), it was important that the appraisal be complete and detailed, as well as done in a timely manner. I am pleased to say that David came through in all respects. I would highly recommend him!

I purchased a BMW 540 from David at Precious Metals, and couldn't be more pleased with the process. Having never purchased a car sight unseen and having it transported across the country, I was concerned about taking a leap of faith, but David was very honest about the condition of the car, and provided detailed service records and made the transaction very easy and painless. We are thrilled with our 66 Mustang. Dave stored our car inside for a couple of months and we then had it shipped from California to Washington state. When it arrived it was even better than expected and just as advertised and my husband is a decades long car guy with lots of car shows under his belt. Dave worked with us on sending the numerous documents required and we are completely happy and satisfied with the entire process. David sold a Dodge Viper for me and the process was quick and easy. I would definitely use him in the future for anything exotic or rare to eliminate the wasted time dealing with flakes and lookie-loo's on forums and craigslist.

Wow, it took David less than 10 days to get my 1998 Corvette Indy Pace sold after I had it on consignment with a vette shop for over 9 months and I never received a serious offer.I met David at the SD Auto Show and he impressed me as someone who is extremely knowledgeable on how to sell and buy unusual automobiles. David knows how to use all the multi-media sites along with his extensive list of contacts to get my car sold. He took the car to the beach for a photo shoot and created a video that showed how fun it is to drive a convertible vette along the coast on a sunny California day. A couple of days later David called me with a solid buyer in Northern California. He took care of all the paperwork and even did the auto transport himself to make sure the buyer received the type of car he promised. He really treats both sides of the deal with professionalism.I highly recommend David and Precious Metals Fine Motor Cars of SD.
