Our selling dealer sent my vehicle here for a repair under warranty. They were able to find the problem and got the whole panel replaced. We are extremely satisfied with their service and they also detailed my vehicle! We will definitely bring our vehicles here if we ever need them to be repaired.

This was my second time working with Gerald Velasco after my car being hit, first time working with him at Penske. My car had been hit on the rear bumper last month and back in 2021. Both times I specifically requested the entire bumper be replaced with an OEM bumper and Gerald ensured that request was met by the people who hit me's insurance as well as providing me with updates and copies of the estimates for everything, even though I was not the one paying for it. I appreciate that transparency of knowing what was done to my car and having part numbers. Both times he took care of every concern I had and responded to me quickly. I'm very grateful that I got to work with him again and would recommend him to any BMW owners looking for repairs since he came from BMW prior to being with Penske!Thank you so much for taking care of my car, it looked amazing both times.

I had my car painted in 2016 and recently I noticed the painted had lost its shine. I contacted Penske and they repainted my car with $0 charge. When they say their work has a lifetime warranty.. they mean it!!! Thank you Penske!!

Insurance fraud and extremely poor service.August 10th I went to Penske for an initial appointment to repair the back glass panel of my BMW i3 electric vehicle.They asked for the estimate I was given by my insurance. I wasn t sure why they needed that before making their own estimate.Sarah told me she would contact me when the parts came in and to schedule a drop off of my vehicle.Sarah went AWOL and didn t respond to my calls or emails for 6 days. I finally heard from her on 8/17 to schedule and confirm drop off on 8/18.You need more notice than a day to drop off your car for an undetermined amount of time.I finally got confirmation for a drop off on 8/19 and was told it would take 72 - 96 hours for a triage to determine the length of repairs and if more repairs are needed.Sarah goes AWOL again, and after 7 days I reach out to her for some type of update on 8/25.She responds that additional repairs are required , and that she contacted the insurance for an approval for basically double of what the initial estimate was.I was never consulted or gave authorization for an additional repair or to reach out to my insurance for an approval. These decisions were made for me and not by me.I was a bit upset and told them that I didn t want to do the additional repairs at this time. She tried to pressure me into it and sent me 3 different photos of the alleged damage to the bumper pads and bumper cover sides of my vehicle.The photos were not even of my car!!! It was the same model and color of a different car that needed repair.The bumper wasn t touched in the accident and I didn t have scratches and other issues on the bumper and bumper covers when I brought my car in, but they magically appeared in these photos.I continuously refused the additional repair, and asked repeatedly for my vehicle back. Finally on 9/1 I received it.Penske of course received a check from my insurance for the additional repairs, that I refused to do, and didn t tell me.As a minority, I m accustomed to being deprioritized, taken advantage of, and having decisions made for me and not by me.I m going to file a police report, complaint with the BBB, and a civil claim. Businesses with shady practices need to be held accountable for their actions.

I can't say anything bad about this place. They have great customer service and Amber, who was my Collision Estimator took great care of me. She kept me informed, answered my emails, and she was willing to go the extra mile to help. Oh and my bumper repair looks AMAZING! Took my vehicle for an estimate and was greeted by a young man by the name of Ralph. He took some pictures of my vehicle and explained the process. It was a little bit longer than I would have like however worth the wait. After the process, I was able to share my experience with Sam, the manager. He asked what brought me in, and I explained the reason. He was understanding and empathize with our situation. He stopped everything to listen and received my feedback on my experience. Sam and Ralph made my not so good situation into a great experience. Sam, I commend you on your customer service and since of ownership. Date of visit was 10/23. Grey BMW x3. Thanks Sam.

Took my 2020 sprinter van in. Was told they would need it for a few weeks by Paul before committing to Penske to do the repairs. Dropped it off Oct 30th. When I asked for confirmation about the timeline for the repairs to be done when I dropped it off was given a totally different story about the timeline to be several months because of insurance supplements and the process. So why did they tell me they would only need it for a few weeks in the first place??????. Paul dangled my keys in my face and said so are you going to leave it or what? It is a job that requires two parties to complete the repairs. The second party is working extra hours and completing their part of the repairs with much respect for my time. I actually feel terrified writing this review. That Penske will purposefully take longer to complete the repairs ( which is replacing the back panel and some repairs to the sliding door) My insurance company did screw up and slow things down by a couple of weeks and that is not Penske s fault. But I feel bullied and terrified to call and ask for updates or anything else. I feel really powerless in this situation and it really is disruptive having this vehicle out of my possession for such a lengthy amount of time. It is now going on 7 weeks since I left the van with Penske and when I called Paul about an update of when it would be ready he told me a few more weeks for them to replace the panel. (Plus the additional time for the second party to complete interior repairs) This sounds like an excessive amount of time from Penske to replace the panel.There is still no clarity on when I will have my vehicle back. It is incredibly disruptive and I did tell Penske the importance of it being done in a timely manner. I am so disappointed. I do hear they do very good work. I appreciate that. But customer service and respect for time is completely lacking.

We took our Lexus to Penske Collision and were fortunate to work with Amber Ott. She was always available, very knowledgeable and empathic. Our vehicle turned out just beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice of Penske!

Took my car there, good job on the detail but way over priced on the repair lots of miscommunication and price gouging and my hood still needs to be repainted as I can still clearly see the repair the body work is below average for the cost. Very upset I have to return.

Sam is a great general manager who listens and understands how to treat a customer when they are not treated fairly. Sam made things right and addressed all my concerns and complaints. I really want to say thank you for making me feel heard and welcomed, I am grateful for your help. They missed the mark completely. VERY polite when I brought my car in for estimate. Indicated they would take longer than others, but would do great work. Promised an estimate later that day or early next day. Sadly, after 5 days, I have heard nothing.Messages were not returned. Phone was not picked up (all different days & times). POOR communications and customer service.

Amber, my collision car repair person was very communicative and worked well with my insurance company. Things went longer than expected, but she always kept me informed. My car turned out great after a couple of delays. I wish I had taken my car elsewhere, I was under the impression that since they work directly with my car dealership (Mercedes Benz of San Diego), they would provide exceptional service. I was wrong.My car, a brand new 2023 EQE has been in their shop for 30 days (today). I was originally promised a 2 week turnaround. 2 weeks went by and the advisor, Connor Cline, asked for another week because they didnt have the part needed (paint). My car is matte, I understand the process would be longer than usual to repair the damage. However, the complete disregard of my time is unreal. My insurance adjustor and I were promised a pick-up date of 9/28, then 9/29, now its 9/30 and no one is in their office to answer my calls despite being promised that they would work after hours and have it ready today. I dont know how many times I have called and been ignored. I understand customer service is not their priority but out of respect for people doing business with them, they should communicate better and refrain from making empty promises. It is both unprofessional and disrespectful. I came by their office and no one was there, Connor left the office without giving me any updates and now I have to wait until next week. I needed my vehicle for a wedding and now there is no way for that to be possible. I have all this in email and I am debating on taking them to court.If you want to be sure about the repair of your vehicle, go somewhere else where they will respect you and communicate with you. Save yourself the time and frustration.

Nick was great thank you!! The only thing I'm not happy is with one of the receptionist the one with blonde hair. She needs more training in customer service. She sounded rude and facial expression but not sure if she was trying to be, maybe that's her personality. Needs to change that's just my opinion but anyway. The one with dark hair was nice and smiled.

Worth the wait.It took a couple of weeks to repair modest front end damage, but the repairs were done well, the painting looks seamless and my wife is quite happy with the job Penske did. Our service rep was on vacation during the repair so we only got one update, but they finished before the original estimate.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Got an estimate. Got clearance from insurance on estimate. Called and asked if I needed an appointment to drop of vehicle. Was told no, just come and drop it off. After waiting an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting (being told it was just a few more minutes), they all went on lunch without telling us. This place is very disrespectful of your time and I do not recommend.

My mom s Sienna, 2 months now and not yet done! So many excuses! We ve been paying for the car rental after insurance coverage, my mom said Mr Connor handles our account, promised several dates of release but never happened.Question is, will it be repaired? If so WHEN?! You promised August 9, 10, 11 and a week after that, the latest promise was Thursday August 24 I thought we brought it to the best body shop there is. But I guess not!

Imagine being a broke college with your car falling apart unsure what to do. I pulled into Penske car repair. Connor immediately took great care of me. He gave me relief. He made sure I was well taken care of with a complimentary vanilla coffee. I relaxed and enjoyed myself. In no time, Connor came back in and showed me my car. I was overjoyed. He earned a $100 tip. My car looks sexy, my mental health is boosted, and I saved a lot of money. I couldn t be happier with my experience. Absolutely overjoyed.This is the place you can trust. Rates are as of 3/20/23. The service and paint are as good as any of the other places I've used. This time, it was for a ford hood that flaked and was covered by warranty.

I am glad I chose Penske to repaire my car's bumper. The car got hit by a person who uses AAA insurance. Kudos to Sarah who helped me to replace a new bumper. She worked with AAA efficitently, and answered my questions promptly. I coudn't be happier with my experience. High recommend Penske for its high quality repairs!

They replaced my windshield and did a fantastic job. A different MB dealership quoted me several more hundred dollars to complete this and told me they d have to order the glass and would call me in a couple days. They never called and I m glad they did because I got to go to Penske who had the glass in stock and got everything done within 2 hours for a much fairer price. Go here for windshield replacements!!

Both time they've been great to work with. Once though insurance as someone hit me. And once not (someone hit me). The non insurance was 1/2 the time frame! kudos. Always respectable, professional, and quality work, although be prepared they are pricey, yet use only factory parts (hence part of that reason). 100% satisfied.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Overall everyone was super nice, helpful, and easy to contact. Paul, in the service department was easy to work with and did lot of the leg work when dealing with my insurance keeping me up to date with everything going on with my vehicle. Unfortunately my car was involved in a a minor collision and needed some repairs. I've never had body work done so I started by searching for Toyota Certified body shops in the area and Penske came up. I've had good experiences at Penske's nearby dealerships and think positively of their truck rental brand, which led me to believe this would be the best shop for getting my newer 4Runner repaired.The work took about a month but the damaged parts of my 4Runner sincerely look brand new. I'm very impressed with the quality of the work, and sleep much better knowing everything they replaced is actually a Toyota part. Just be aware that most insurance doesn't cover OEM parts (they cover up to the aftermarket price, and you pay the difference). For my 4Runner, the difference between aftermarket and OEM parts came out to be roughly 10% higher than the aftermarket prices, but that will vary depending on your brand and the types of damage.The shop worked seamlessly with Geico for the payments and estimates and I was happy to not have to juggle communications between the two. I received regular updates over email about the status of the work and received my vehicle exactly on the date it was promised.In addition to fixing my collision damage, I asked for some paint repairs for an unrelated incident to my door handle and found the price reasonable and the quality of the repair outstanding.While I hope to never have to deal with collision damage again, I am happy to have found a shop like Penske I can go to for any paint or glass damage. I recommend their services, especially for any of the brands they are certified for.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
