I ve been here for an estimate on my older car and found Aaron to be very fair, giving me options as to the necessity of work needed and so forth. Very transparent. Very upfront.Will take my car in as soon as time allows and will post results then.

I have been to this shop many times and they have never let me down. Alex and his team are all very nice and are very accommodating. It s generally best to schedule a time to bring your car in since they are centrally located in pacific beach. I would recommend giving them a call if you are in need of a repair for your car.

Visiting San Diego from Seattle, my Volvo XC60 hit 40k and got a notification that my car needed an oil change. Wanted to get it done before the long drive back to Seattle but appointments at dealerships were too far out. Alex at PB got me in first thing in the morning, told me exactly what he was going to do and set the right expectations on price which was very fair. He changed the oil, replaced the filter and checked tires and fluids and got me out in an hour. Super friendly, super professional and he s a really nice person. It was a relatively small job but he made it a pleasant experience.Service: Oil change

I took my car here yesterday knowing that I needed brakes and wanting to get an overall inspection done as I would be driving to TX. I only knew I needed brakes and wasn't sure what else might need to be serviced.After a free initial safety inspection, Alex called me to let me know that all belts and fluids looked good and didn't need anything, and also that the front brakes were actually fine and wouldn't need to be replaced.They replaced the rear brakes for less than I expected and I was extremely happy with the communication, honesty and work performed. They could have said any random thing needed to be replaced and without the time to have it checked I wouldn't have known, this is RARE in this industry, there is almost ALWAYS an up-sell coming.I would strongly recommend using them for any car needs, they have my business as long as I live in PB. I don't recommend this place because of very bad customer service and please do not call them, they not going to talk properly and they have a broken phone.I'm disappointed with them.

After completing a successful smog check, they notified me of a crack in my radiator I was not aware of. They indicated they could complete this in an afternoon, which they did at my request (replaced hoses and radiator). Seeing what this probably prevented (catastrophic engine overheating on highway most likely) I am satisfied with their service and work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been taking our vehicles to PB European and Imports for quite a few years now, and especially for our Smog Tests. Alex Sr. & Alex Jr. are always there to greet you and make sure to make time for you, and go beyond the call to insure that your vehicle is properly taken care of with precise accuracy and integrity. You can always count on them to make sure that your vehicle is serviced properly and they can always be relied upon for all other vehicle needs as well.

Got a SMOG test first thing this morning from Alex and the crew. They worked on my 1990 Chevy Van G20. All I can say is that they were friendly, quick, helpful, and very respectful to me and the other guests that arrived.Needed a STAR SMOG for my registration renewal, they worked quick and sent my info to the DMV. They open earlier than other shops in the area and will beat other prices as well. The best in PB!!!Thanks Alex and Crew for a quick and easy SMOG experience!

Top notch mechanics! Alex and his crew are very friendly and honest about your car situations. He gives you options on how you want to fix your car. They are very tenacious in finding out what is happening with your vehicle. I highly recommend them from SMOG checks to full transmission repairs.

I went to PB European and Imports to get a smog check and Alex, the owner took my car in right away! They were super nice to me and the service was quick. I definitely recommend stopping by this shop when you need your smog check done.

Quality service!Father and son own the company and they are the best. Fair prices and amazing customer service. The day I dropped my car off I was pretty emotional, I had lost a close friend and was visibly upset. When I went to pick up my car the next day they asked me how I was doing and if I was feeling better. It meant the world to me that they even cared to ask.. these are good genuine people and do amazing work!!-andi

Took all of 5 minutes to get my smog check done - I walked in to make an appointment and the cashier called and the owner showed up in a couple of minutes and did it. I've lived in this neighborhood for many years and it is nice to know they are there for me. Very personable service and skilled service.

I found Alex only because my wife worked nearby. I can tell you he will treat your vehicle like his own, and he is honest as the day is long. Have been to him 3 times and will come back again/again. My first day he gave me a loaner. I will send anyone I know to Alex without hesitation.

I have been in PB for 30+ years and have tried most of the repair shops, Alex and co have been my go to for the last few years because they have been really honest about the work and have tried to save me money several times. Attention San Diegans! This place is legit! I went through a lot of bs with other places to get my car certified for smog, they kept telling me the problem with my car without providing a solution. As soon as I checked out this place, though, Alex told me exactly what needed to be done and even offered to do it for me! So of course I took him up on it, and I was not disappointed.I was getting really frustrated before I came here, but this guy is a freakin wizard! Great prices too. You won t regret it

Watch out for "Top Tech" Jim Bisharat at this shop! He came and picked up my car at the house, a "house call". I thought was very nice. Long story short, he had the car for over a month, drove it daily and charged me $3468.52 and the car still doesn't run well. A real "Scammer"!! I might as well thrown my money into the street!

I took my 2012 mini Cooper to PB foreign they couldn t fix it so I took it to Alex and he fixed it plus fixed another issue with my car it s running better than ever before thank you Alex five star plus never taking my car anywhere else.
