Don't call these people. They first told me a driver was nearby so my pick up would be quick because their job was to only jump start a vehicle. They have me an estimated wait time of 30 min. I called to inquire about an update at 25 min and they were supposedly still at the same jump starting job. I caked again 40 minutes later and was put on hold right away. I was on hold for 7 minutes before hanging up and calling again. Only this time someone else answered just to tell me that their truck had broke down and that it would be a 75 minute wait. How come I had to call to find out about this? I have no idea, seems like a shady company to me. Don't lose any more time waiting for these people. Google a different towing company.

We appreciated Ortiz's flat tire change service yesterday. The driver was quick, had positive attitude and didn't charge a crazed amount of cash. All in all - 8 out of 10. The only glitch was that we had to wait for them for like 40 min Service: Tire changeService: Tire change

I had to look for a new tow service for my limo because the company I booked a week ago bailed on me in the very last minute (I'd mention them here but I'm not sure it's ok). Called up and set up an appointment to pick up a 40' aluminum shipping container and ship it from Santa ysabel ca to campo ca which is an hour and 9 minute drive. She was quoted a priced of $495/hour with a minimum 3 hr time requirement. They sent a contract for the service which was signed and returned. They then decided to call back and demand to change the stipulations of their agreement to $495/hr with an 6 hr minimum or they wouldn't ship the container. If it was going to take 6 hrs then the service would warrant that money anyway so obviously they knew it wouldn't but wanted to be greedy. Very rude, unprofessional and unreasonable. Would like to give them 0 stars! That's what they deserve! Straight up lopsService: Local hauling

I was stranded in the rain with a dead battery and they came out in 30 mins! Turns out it was just loose from being wrongly installed! He tightened it up for me and I went my way! Thank you so much for the great service! The tow man Gary was very helpful and nice! I would definitely recommend them. Thanks again!

Had some scheduling issues with them but they did tow my vehicle. Owner is very personable. I t think he charged me too much for the tow there blocks 80 bucks anyways Covid 19 has affected prices with some businesses.

I went to vacation in San Diego last week and my car was broke downI called Ortiz Automotive & Towing to tow my car.A nice guy (Ron) came after few minutes with his truck and load my car in no time at allHe towed my car to a small shop that he knows and charge me exactly the price I was quoted.It was a great towing service and even the shop that he towed me to was a great place.Fast, honest, professional, thank you Ron for your great service

I wanted to try Ortiz, a smaller company to choose to give my business to rather than some a giant corporation like Road One. I called Ortiz for an estimate to move a car out of a driveway and take it out to the street. $100 sounds like a lot, but OK, give them the business. At the scene Sam said he needed to go give another customer a jump start and get a smaller tow truck. Said he would be back in 45 minutes. Pretty strange to prioritize someone else, I have a VERY busy day... but OK, I would wait around. Almost 3 hours later still no show and I am not at home so totally wasting my day. I call the office. They said they tried to call, but neither left a message nor text nor did it show up in my missed calls. Now they say they will be there for me in 1 hour! Please. Spartan Towing did it for way less and fast.

Service was absolutely amazing. The driver came on time after my appointment was office to dispatch. It was cool. Truck was nice. He could maneuver in a very tight parking spot touring my 2002 Corvette back to my house. Thank you guys.

They where gonna tow my car less than a mile away and said at first that they would charge me less than $100 and they asked for credit card information before hand. When they arrived they told me it was gonna be $190, when they said earlier it was gonna be less and when i try to explain they called me a liar. They also said if i cancel they were gonna charge me $50 just for showing up. At the end they went down to $130. Avoid this company and try someone else. Don t waste your money on this company. Also they were towing my car from not too far from there shop.

Great service! Car wouldn't start when i had to leave for work, so I called to this Towing company and a guy named Alex met me at my car 20 mins later. Said it was the battery so he hooked me up and have the car a jump start. Ended up buying a new one. Definitely would use them again if I needed.

Horribly rude, unpleasant, unprofessional and uncouth. Lied about being stuck in the sand. Lied about blowing out a tire. Lied about reaching the location. Overcharged and are trying to keep 80% after they failed to complete the job due to their drivers' incompetence. They agreed to an unattended pickup then lied about that as well. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANYTHING!!!! waiting for management to resolve this situation so I don't have to sue them. Will update.Service: Local hauling

My driver was on-site quickly. Very careful with my car. He was a nice polite guy .I would use Ortiz again if the need arose.

Never use this place if you can. I called after I locked my keys in ny 74 super bug and specifically asked if they could unlock this car. An hour and 45 minutes, two tow truck drivers, and 99$ dollars later they finally had it open. Wasted my time while I was at work by not having a creit card machine on hand and they want to take a photo of your credit card and id for "identity protection purposes". Stay far far away....

I called to get an estimate and the lady was so rude I couldnt believe anyone would hire her to answer the phone. She basically called me a liar and said she couldnt give me a quote because she knew I was lying about the address! Why would anyone do that? Very weird, I would never use this company

Fast service... reliable.I was stuck on the side of the road with my radiator blown they came right out with the most beautiful driver I have ever seen.He got me hooked in no time and into service

This was by far the best towing experience I have ever had. The driver was very friendly and courteous and showed up promptly so I did not have to wait. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of towing services.

I was pleased at how fast the tow truck came. They found me easily and Nick was sooooooo nice! I had three of my five lugs off then my tool broke and Nick came lickity split and got me rolling again.

I was looking for a long distance tow did my research of the market just to learn the rates. While not the cheapest service out there, Ortiz Towing certainly proides a very good one. Spread the word...
