They're good for most repairs, but not everything, however they will let you know if they can't fix something. Rates are about average,which is still high. It's high everywhere.

Be careful ! I got my BMW oil changed here ! Paid 100 dollars ! And they didn t replace the filter. !! On my BMW ! disrespectful can you be !!!

Went to one of the name brand places and they wanted $1,500.00 for breaks all around. These guys are willing to do it for $450.00.I've spoken with several customers who have been coming here for 10+years and they say this is the best place in town for all your car needs.I also recommend this place. The team they have hear are friendly and reliable I received a 3 month warranty or 3,000 miles on work done. I will definitely be coming backI hope you check this place out as well and save your pocket book...THIS IS A CASH ONLY SPOT THE ONE DOWN SIDE.

He won't even check my car. Just because the check engine light wasn't on. What kind of mechanic is that? If you are coming just for a diagnostic or if you hear a weird sound from your car. Don't even bother wasting your gas here. He won't even look at it.

Perhaps the fastest and smoothest transaction I ve ever experienced upon having my car repaired. I had my blower motor replaced; they did it in 2/3 of the time they said it would take and at an extremely affordable rate! Will definitely use these guys again. Thank you!!!

I ve been going to Nu s for over 30 years! Andy is great. Honest and affordable. Repairs are usually done same day, sometimes within a few hours!

Nu Auto Repair was recommended by a co-worker for excellent service and low pricing. This was not the case when I brought in two vehicles for service. One was an oil change for synthetic oil in which I was charged $30-$40 more than the standard price which I showed the owner via my cell phone that his competitors were charging much less. Second service was a minor bumper repair which I believe was overcharged based on my research. I discussed lowering this price based on his competitors. I mentioned I was a new customer that received recommendations from his previous customers because of his service and lower pricing. I received neither. Mechanic left oil foot prints on the floor bed of the car that had the oil change. Normal procedure is to put down paper to prevent this. Needless to say; I will not be returning and will not be recommending this shop. Most shops also offer inspection checks and/or tire rotation or pressure review. Not offered. I won't be back.Services: Body & Trim, Oil change

They had my car for 3 days. Others said 2-3 weeks. And they were the least expensive. My old truck is running great. Will take the Honda Civic in when it needs work as well. I highly recommend these friendly people.

Been going there for a little over 10 years with different makes, car and truck.They are straight forward and don't hem and haw or try to sell up. You ask for the absolute cheapest no name brand or refurbished and they'll set you up right.They do a good job of estimating the final price and ready time. If they were closer to my place of work I would suggest that my employer take our company's Lexus and Toyota to Nu's.My sister and her husband have been happy customers for 20 or so years.

Honestly I came here because the reviews looked good and I had no idea what to expect! They found out the problem and fixed it right away! I am so glad I came here. They gave me an amazing price! Will recommend to absolutely anyone as soon as I got there they gave my car all the work it need and was done in 2 hours! If you haven't been to a good mechanic that are honest people! COME HERE! You won't regret it!

Came here for a fuel injector I had a quote on of 800 to 1800 and only payed 200 definitely recommendation there services! They were very professional and I had a class at SDSU they were done with my car within a hour of bring my car.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

My AC stopped working in my car and live close to Nu's so thought I'd bring it there. Quickly they had it diagnosed and fixed for a super reasonable price. I'll definitely bring my car back for future repairs.

Absolutely the best mechanic shop I have found in many attempts in SD. If you need someone to diagnose any problem for common makes and models - THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Part of being a good mechanic is being able to diagnose and troubleshoot before repairs are really made - these guys are very good at working as a team to find solutions to any types of problems.I cannot explain how helpful they have been to me doing a number of small repairs - still treating me with the utmost respect and not overcharged for things.If you want a mechanic who works with you to get your budget and time conditions met, these guys are spectacular.

this place was the last place I was going to take my car before I completely gave up on it I have an Infiniti G35. I even took my car to the dealership the people there told me they couldn t do anything about my car and the problem being solved. I spent $200 on towing it around town. I know where to always take my car now and that place is right here they all work as a team to get your car fixed perfectly and on time.

I am very happy with the repair I received from Andy at Nu's Auto it took less than 24 hours and less than I was quoted initially he is very honest and has integrity also efficient I would recommend the shop for anyone nearby.

I have been going to this place for years and these guys have been speedy and honest in their service and don't come across as tools or arrogant at all. I have referred a lot of my friends to this place and they are shocked at how cheap and quick these guys are and the quality behind their work is amazing. I will not be going anywhere else.

Moved here from NY 9 years ago. I hate trying to find a good honest mechanic. Andy has worked on my cars, and at least 20 of my friends cars. Of the 30 or more times I have been there for my cars or introducing my friends I can't ever remember a problem. It there was one they remediated it very quickly to my satisfaction. This is the only shop I use.

I can't say enough about Andy and that Great team of auto techs.I own a 2002 330Ci and was experiencing power issues and service engine light, I didn't even want to know what the problem was but knew I would have to face it sooner than later. Well long story short, the team dived in and found that the original parts had finally ran their course. Andy replace a few major parts and with labor it only ran me a thousand......now for real anywhere else would have ran me easily 2 grand. Nu Auto repair thank you for taking care of my 2002 330Ci. When I say ride, she dips and we roll. Nothing like pushing pedal on this Ultimate Driving Machine :).

This place, is super honest and true to what is being done to your car. They are hard working people, I've been coming here for over 5 years.. Nothing is ever done if it's not needed like most place.. They don't even take advantage of me being a woman.. They never scare you in to getting something done either.

On a work trip from Las Vegas, truck starts leaking fluid!! Could have been coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, oil, water or gas i had no idea. Looked on google saw the great reviews with honesty and fair being an asset. I called and Vu said come on. Not only did he get right to me, do a deep diagnosis but he back back with an incredible quote i couldnt jump on it fast enough and he said he would finish within 2 hours!! Not only did he finish in less than the time expected he said the work was less than the quote!! I cant believe it this is the best Mechanic i have ever had!! Thank u!! This place deserves the most sucess!!
