Avoid this dealership at all costs...Took in my mint condition 70k truck for warranty. only 3000 were made in this color and style so it's rare. They decided to smash, damage completely ruined this original truck and they didn't even tell me about the damages they caused. Talking about bad customer service. Dale Snow is bar worse person to deal with. Rude as can be. No class. Customer service manager has no clue at all. They didn't even say sorry for what happened and never fixed it to original. They are awful here. GM forget about it he's to busy. They could have made it right but noooo. Dale snow had the call and now I'm going to take them to court. Bunch of idiots. Don't go here at all. Carlsbad is not far and wow the customer service is amazing. Mossy Toyota will never see me there again and I'll never buy there again. Jerks

Poor service and no accountability. I spent two and a half hours waiting for an oil change and tire rotation. I had driven 120k miles on my prius and not lost a single hubcap. Less than a day later after they serviced my vehicle I was missing a hubcap. I had only driven about 20 miles and did not hit any potholes. They refused to accept any responsibility for the poor service and continued to dodge my phone calls and say they would call me back. I thought toyota cared about their cars, but judging by the service I received, they don't.

Brian Robitaille was very helpful and informative throughout my ordeal. I had a list of things that needed to be taken care of and he went above and beyond what I expected. I highly recommend him.

I wouldn t get my car serviced here again. I paid almost $1500 for the 100k mile maintenance service and change my pads and rotors and sway bar links. They also recommended some services that cost so much that I could definitely get somewhere else for a fraction of the price. They charge so much on labor and parts. After picking up my car, my tire pressure sign kept turning on and off and checked my tire pressure which were all fine. I had it checked out at a different tire shop the next day and had it fixed for less than $60. It s really frustrating and I felt completely ripped off.

The employees are nice. However, the price is definitely consistently higher comparing to a different toyota dealership nearby. And the advisors don t seem to take time to explain the details of the work and recommendations comparing to my experience at another dealership. The diagnosis seems to be inconsistent as well. In addition, Was told that my break rotors could not be resurfaced when asked and have to be replaced. However, second opinion at another dealership says otherwise. The advisor there seemed to be a lot more informed than here. Also, they recommended i come back for an oil change after 3k with syn oil..I probably wouldn t go here again. Seems like they just want to get things done to your car while might not be necessary. Oh and not mention, my steering wheels were scratched significantly after..If i cant trust the work of the dealership, why pay more here than an independent auto shop. Ill take my car to a different dealership at the very least

Hands down the worst service out there. I had multiple bad experiences at this service center. I took my truck in for a recall and they stole the blocks that were on my truck saying they couldn t reinstall them because it s aftermarket but did not return them to me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt maybe it was an honest mistake and they were misplaced. I later took my truck in for some engine work and they told me I need a new engine for $10k! I said no because that is ridiculous and another shop will do they repairs for less than half the price. They charged me $570 for an inspection that takes less than an hour at another shop. I would never give them my business again. Total scam artists. There are many solid shops that know Toyotas in and out. It s no wonder dealer services are getting bad reputations everywhere. Take your car somewhere else!Services: Exhaust, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!! My gf came here for a simple oil change in the morning right before a road trip to NorCal. She came here at 10am and didn't leave till almost 5pm!! The reason why? "They recommended doing other maintance in it" her being a naive young girl without much car knowledge she believed them. They charged her almost $500 for an oil change, and allegedly "full fluid inspection, tire alignment, brake check". We ended up leaving really late cuz they took so long. Once we were on the road I noticed that the car started drifting to the left when not holding the steering wheel. It was so bad that we ended up getting a flat tire!! I asked for the alignment photos of the tires and she said they didn't even give them to her!!! It was a dusty ride and when I tried cleaning with the windshield wipers there was no fluid!! $500 for them to leave the car fluids empty and a tire alignment not done correctly and not giving the results to your client should be a crime. When she went in to complain they didnt beleive her and kicked her out. STAY AWAT FROM THESE SCAMMERS THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUNG GIRLS!!

Jake did a great job genius the car we wanted. He was low key and honored a lower price we got on the internet. Easy buying experience.

We always bring our cars here and request that Brian R. is our service rep. He is kind, professional, and knowledgable, and is very communicative throughout the process while our cars are there. Whether it is a regular oil change, a broken mirror, or any other service, I always recommend bringing your car here and asking for Brian. Best in the business!

Awful totally incompetent people.!!! $200!!! For diagnostic.I know my prius have a lot of problems but mr Manuel found only exactly problem i show him(loud cracking sound in vent.) He recommended me change all AC system for $9500!!!so foully.even pathetic. its so obviously they don't want to make adequately diagnosis and even little complicated repair. Worst experience with car service in my life. They recommended parts was about $4.500.I found those parts on other different sources for $$1200-1400. $5000 they wanted charge me for labor.

Summary: Quoted $2500 in critical repairs, no repairs apparently needed. This felt like one of the more dubious service providers I have encountered. I believe this location views the service center as an avenue to increase vehicle sales.I took my 2005 Lexus here because I had some warning messages on (Master Warning Light and Low Tire Pressure even though my tires were properly inflated) and my passenger window was not functional. They charged $200 for diagnostics and told me my engine control unit/module and window motor were likely dead. Supposedly, I should have been charged $600 for this service. They recommended I buy a new car and quoted $2500+ for repairs. I left with all lights and warning messages still on, with my window still non-functional.I next went to Import Auto Specialists in Kearny Mesa. Within 30 seconds the low tire pressure message was turned off, and by the end of the day the Master Warning Light was gone and my window worked. The solution? Resetting the electronics. Turns out my ECU and window motor are fine and the repair costs are indeed $0, not $2500.Why 1 Star?1) It seems like the mechanic only used the OBD-2, which is free to rent from Autozone. -12) The mechanic at IAS used a 10-second clip from YouTube to turn off the tire pressure light while I discussed the issues I was having. -13) They (IAS) seemed VERY surprised that I had been here before going to them. -14) I was told a story about the last person that came in with this issue, an 80-year old woman. Mossy's representatives supposedly proffered the same solution to her. -1Here is an analogy, to drive the point home.Say your family member takes their computer to Apple Care, and they say that the computer is busted, and that you should buy the most recent MacBook Pro, except the MacBook Pro is $30,000. Your family friend who runs a mom-and-pop computer repair shop offers to take a look, restarts the computer, it runs completely fine, and they ask:"Did you try turning it off and back on again?"Services: Electrical repair, Auto power window repair

Don t trust this place to screw in a light bulb let alone work on your car. The customer facing interactions were professional and polite, but when I got my truck back it was pretty obvious that whoever worked on it was incompetent. I brought it in for a simple oil change, tire rotation and inspection. Right away I could see that they never rotated the tires. Ok, fine, I can do it myself. When I got home I saw that it was raining oil because they replaced the filter and didn t bother cleaning up. Check the oil level and it s over a quart low. It became obvious that they did the bare minimum poorly and didn t bother to check anything including the tire pressure. Talked with customer service, said I didn t want anything or for anyone to get in trouble, but they should be aware of the poor work. Not trusting their work I decide to service the truck myself and find that the drain plug is WAY over torqued and so is the oil filter. It feels like it s seized on. Don t let them touch your vehicle if you value it at all.

I am honestly disappointed that I have to write this. My last experience at this shop a year ago was great. I had one of the most unprofessional experiences with the service department manager. I had my car towed here because of an ignition coil that this department replaced a year and 2 days ago. I was told that they would give me the part and only charge me for the diagnostic fees multiple times throughout the day. After paying the fee I was told that they never agreed to give me the part. I was asked to show proof in writing and the manager insisted that calling the customer a liar was simply miscommunication. He also kept repeating "so you want me to just give you the part?" I then asked what it would cost to pay for it and was again disrespected. I will be contacting Toyota corporate as I'm sure and hope this isn't their standard for customer care.
