Stopped in after another shop quoted $150 for my old Toyota. Morena Smog provided quick service and friendly staff, and I walked out for $65. I ll be back.

Okay.This place is so great. I needed to get a smog quickly.The lady who answered the phone was nice, informative, and to the point. After the phone call I drove right over and was seen right away, like they said they would. Not some, 'sure come over and we'll see you', then im waiting for 30 mins to be seen - which seems to be the model most people choose these days. This place did what they said they would do. It's odd that this means so much, but it's something that does matter. I was getting ready for vacation and had to squeeze this appointment in, and for them to actually see me right away when they said they could means a lot.The cost of service was very affordable, and the appointment was as long as they said it would be, if not a tad shorter. They also were able to digitally send my info to the DMV.Overall, I'll be back for my next smog and will definitely recommend these people 10 out of 10 times!

If '0' stars was a option.... i would give.....MY EXPERIENCE WAS 1000 X THE OPPOSITE. Unfriendly, disrespectful, judgemental.... Don't bother wasting your time or money. Selective pass/fail - pay/no pay ... This cost me valuable time and money ... Passing all tests, failing visual without cause OR KNOWLEDGE OF VEHICLE/year/differences, etc.! So while thinking there was a big problem with my auction car.... & without another recommendation.... proceeded to get more tickets.....until yesterday. HAVING DONE NOTHING TO THE VEHICLE.... Since....PASS....no thanks to these folks.

Called to make an appointment. I made sure they could do my 2015 Porsche 911. No problem. I take time off work . They fiddled with it, obviously perplexed after marking me wait 15 minutes . They finally said they don t know how to do it. The same as every 911 made for the last decade. I suppose they are ok if you have a Corolla but nothing beyond that. No problem at speedy auto repair down the street

I highly recommend Morena Smog for all your vehicle needs. We have been taking our vehicles there for a few years now, and will continue to do so! They are friendly, reasonable, good with communications, and most importantly for an auto shop, honest! Thanh will give you his honest, expert opinion on what does or doesn t need to be done/fixed. We appreciate them and refer them to our local family/friends when they need service, repairs, or a smog.

Every time I get service done on my car, I take it to Thanh. He does a great job informing you of what he needs to do. Their prices are very reasonable and their staff is very friendly. Put your trust in Morena Smog. - Customer for life

This is one of the most reputable auto repair shops ever! Thanh and Kaitlin are friendly and service-oriented. Over the past decade, I've had Morena Smog work on three vehicles with a variety of maintenance and repair needs . The service is always perfect and done rapidly. Highly recommended!

This place is pure perfection. Made an appointmemt same day. Was in and out in less than 15 min. The stagf was extremely friendly amd professional. Amazing experience, and will always come here for my dmog checks from now on.

Always my go to! Have been to other places before and always regret my decision. This location is family owned and always makes me feel like family! Mindy was so sweet and took care of me!

Good, reliable place for smog testing. Have brought our cars here a few times now, and each time the service was very pleasant and the test was quick. Not too many options for waiting, but if you call ahead, you can get a good gauge for any wait times and plan accordingly.

Booked my appointment for smog (STAR shop required for 2nd time in a row... how lucky am I?), showed up and there was no wait to get the smog check rolling. Job was completed in the exact amount of time they told me it would take. No hassle whatsoever. Super friendly staff.Bonus feature: great taco shop across the street!

This company gives great service, and unlike many smog shops, Morena Smog knows how to do more than just plug into an OBDII port. They have a dyno (that works), they are polite, prompt, and knowledgable about the entire car. I highly recommend them... they're outstanding.

Had to get a smog done before I could purchase a vehicle through a private party. I called this place and made a last minute appoinment and they took care of me. Fast service, about 15 minutes, great price and thorough inspection. I highly recommend these guys for your next smog service!

Was able to make an appointment. Prompt and easy check-in. No delay in the smog test process. I go to this location because their test bay can handle my 1989 F-150 XLT with cab-over camper. They can handle my Lexus too of course.

Usually not busy, very quick. Food near by if you need to wait and your hungry. Smog only, no repairs. Customer service is great, they're very knowledgeable about smog and will answer any questions. Also, I've lived in the area for 5 years. I've brought them an 03 Ford Powerstroke, 04 Golf GTI, 03 BMW 328i, 98 Mustang GT, 06 F-150 and a 16 MKZ. The only car I had fail was my Mustang. They explained it was a vacuum leak. I fixed it and retested and was good to go. They don't fix cars, if you fail you got to figure it out! I recommend to everyone.

Morena Smog is my Go-To for any Smog checks due for the 2 cars I have, and they also sell tires and do repairs. Great Honest people, easy location.I am a loyal customer.

Morena Smog has the most honest mechanic and employees I have ever met. I moved to North County, so I'm not close anymore.. I have had many smog checks there, as well as mechanical work. The mechanic is expert. Can't say enough positive things about them.

Great service on my 84 VW Vanagon. Walked across the street and had lunch while the smog check was being preformed. I will continue to use this spot when ever I need a smog check !

WARNING!!! Morena Smog will lie to you, and get your hard earned money!! These guys try to think too much especially if you have an older car. They tried to tell me my car had too much smog equipment and it wasn't in their book. Of course they charged me anyway. Only place I've ever had smog problems. Passed at the next smog place.
