Called in to get a service paid by Discount Tire. I was welcomed to come in asap, customer service was humble and helped to take care of my vehicle maintenance 100%. I had some wait but again I was welcomed in at short notice and I was able to get my vehicle back within 2 hrs, which was not a problem at all. I m was happy to drive home safe! Thank you!

*** NEARLY 38,000 MILES REPORTED OVER ODOMETER READING ***I m honestly not one to write reviews, but this is kinda sketch 1st visit was good2nd visit: My car was there for approximately 5-6 weeks (waiting on parts). However, after waiting over a month, my car was ready for pick up. Upon picking up my car, I noticed that my receipt showed my new mileage being nearly 38k miles more than when I brought it in. I addressed the issue on the spot, so they just crossed out the odometer mileage on my receipt and stated they would correct it later; which should ve been around 2 miles more than when I brought it in. I trusted them, so I left it at that.However, I followed up with Mission Village Auto Repair regarding this issue a couple of months later as I was trying to get an online quote to sell the car. While completing the online quote process, Carmax stated there was a discrepancy in mileage on the odometer and that the last recorded mileage is37,935 miles more than what my car s odometer was reading. I called Mission Village Auto and addressed the issue, told me that they hadn t corrected the error yet, but will. I asked them to please make the correction as I m selling the car in a few weeks . I waited a couple of weeks before taking my car to Carmax to sell. Turns out that Mission Village Auto never corrected the mistake and CarMax stated that someone rolled back the odometer.This mistake on Mission Village Auto s end and failure to correct it, had cost me $. Carmax confirmed that the last recorded odometer reading was still reading nearly 38k miles more than what was displayed on my odometer.I don t how why Mission Village Auto can make such a mistake and not make any efforts to correct it. All I know, is my car was in their possession for 5-6 weeks and upon return, my car was reported to have nearly 38,000 miles added . Never returning to this shop again.

Fair and honest. Great service. I've been going here for years with several cars, Toyota, Ford, Acura, BMW they do it all. They recently took care of my son's brakes and with him being a new driver I feel so secure knowing they did the work. I highly recommend!

My daughter took her car in for brakes, I called ahead from North Carolina and was prepared to have all four rotors and pads done. When they inspected them, they came back with just the rears need replacement and even had my daughter send me pictures of the rotors. They could have easily just charged me for the full sets of front and rear brakes, but they didn t. This is the type of service you can expect from this shop. Highly recommend them. Job well done. I am very thankful for their honesty and quick work.

I have been coming here for years now for oil changes, servicing, major and minor repairs. Eric, Marven, and the rest of the employees treat you with the utmost respect. They have never tried to push a repair on me- they do make recommendations on when a repair needs to be done and explain thoroughly. Great business, overall. Highly recommend!!

This place is hands down the best automotive care center in San Diego. I ve had a couple vehicles in and out , for big jobs to simple repairs and I each time was comfortable in the abilities of the techs they have on staff. I would 100% recommend this establishment to anyone needing their vehicle serviced. I will be using this place until the combustion engine is outlawed haha. Plus the muffler shop across the way is very good as well.Service: Auto engine tuning

I was in town for the week moving my son into his condo for school. On the way down my car temp started to go up to 3/4! Pulled over and I had a leaky heater hose. I googled auto repair in my area and MVAC popped up at the top and I noticed they had great reviews and in business for a long time and they were only one mile away. I called and spoke to a young lady and told her my situation. I know most repair shops schedule you days or weeks out but I was leaving in 2 days. That s when she let me speak to Marvin (I think the owner) and he said bring it in and we ll take a look. Marvin was very accommodating and he called me back 30 min after dropping off the car. He was able to replace the parts the same within a few hours and I was back on the road by 5:pm, 3 hours later. He did what needed to be done and didn t charge me extra or try to upswell me a new engine...lol OMG that s what I call a lifesaver! I was able to stick to my schedule and get my son moved in! I HIGHLY recommend Marvin and his shop to anyone!!!Service: Auto water leak repair

I came to get a free brake inspection and they were really friendly at first. But as soon as I was debating to go through with the brake service, the owner started guilt-tripping me saying that if I left; it would be a slap in his face. I didn t enjoy how he was pressuring me, though I understand that he had a business to run. Then as I was driving my car after, it was noticeably worse then when I first came in

I will definitely be back! My battery was dead and I needed help ASAP. Marvin was great on the phone, very patient with all of my questions and concerns when I arrived and I even got free love from Baxter the 4-legged shop assistant. I got text updates and calls to let me know the pricing and progress as well as the diagnostics for my battery showing it needed to be replaced, but I never felt pressured or hustled. He even drove to the dealership to pick up the correct battery that was needed thank you!I was back in business in just a few hours!Service: Battery

Local, Family Owned & Operated, Honest WorkDue to my busy work schedule, Eric drove my wife and baby daughter home as one of my first experiences at the shop...that meant a lot to my family during that time and there began the loyalty.For several years now, I ve gotten to know the team there and it s been comforting to have a committed group with the right attitude to help with any/all car issues and provide fair pricing. This is the first, honest auto shop I ve dealt with. They were so nice to work with and super friendly, were able to identify the issue quickly whereas another shop was not, fix damage the other shop did, and they did it all quickly! I ll definitely be returning for my next auto repair needs. Mission Village Auto Care goes above and beyond everyday. Providing the highest quality, best value, master knowledge and being punctual. Not only do I utilize them for my fleet vehicles at work. I also take all of my personal vehicles to them as well. Marven an Eric are exceptional people and it translate to their business. I highly recommend Mission Village Auto Care.

A friend recommended MVA and I couldn't be happier. Eric and Marv are awesome guys who run a great business. They are honest and reliable and charge reasonable prices for dependable work. They are cheaper than the dealership and do a great job servicing my E350. I highly recommend Mission Valley Auto and give them a 5 star rating.

These are the nicest guys. I'm not very familiar with cars so I asked them to contact my dad who lives out of state and consult with him. They discussed everything that was wrong and told me what was urgent versus what was not urgent and how I could manage the car if I wasn't ready to have any major repair work done. They were all so kind and there's an adorable dog to play with. Gonna come here for all my car needs

This is the second time I've had to take my car to MVA for two separate issues. I did make an appointment ahead of time and would recommend that others do the same. I am beyond impressed with the efficiency, professionalism, honesty, and amazing work MVA has done for me. I have gotten an accurate quote that has been honored every time, and MVA honors the work they do for 24 months or a certain amount of miles. (It's located at the bottom of the receipt for those who are wondering). Which speaks volumes of MVA, and how much they pride themselves in their work. I do not recommend taking your car anywhere else in San Diego. Thank you MVA for always giving me great service.

I brought my wife's Toyota Corolla in after it wouldn't start. They were able to identify the problem and quickly take care of it. The car was also about 10,000 miles past due for service so they took care of the recommended maintenance at the same time. We got the car back quickly and the prices were much better than what I paid at the dealership for my car. Overall highly satisfied with their service, definitely taking both of our cars there from now on.

I really appreciate the service at MVA. The guys are always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. They ve taken great care of my Mini Cooper thus far and I can t imagine ever going anywhere else. Plus, they have WiFi and coffee, offer rides to and from wherever, and a beautiful dog to greet customers!

Everyone at Mission Village is always so calm and friendly. They are very thorough~ I took my car in for an oil change and During their overall check- they found the cabin air filter was damaged, probably rodents, and they cleaned it all out and disinfected it.Plus it s spotless inside!

My Son recently purchased a 1989 Mercedes Benz 190E, I wanted a safety inspection performed on the car so I contacted MVA to perform the inspection. They did an excellent job identifying all the problems on the car, as well as recommending what problems were critical and needed our immediate attention. We currently have most of the car's critical maintenance issues resolved and we will be going back to MVA for 90,000 mile service and AC service in the near future. Thanks, MVA

Did a suspension swap on my sub, no games, or b.s. price hikes. The best part was I did not have to take my vehicle to another shop for alignment everything was in-house, Everyone in that shop... well let s just say, it s nice to interact with humans again. If need be, I will be returning to M.V.A.C. Those guys rock!!
