David was quite helpful in getting my Brake Pads and Rotors replaced. It was done within 4 hours and he was communicative about the prices and progress ahead of time. My car is driving smooth. I would recommend this Midas location to anyone having car troubles.

Friendly Staff. Quality of work not so great. Within 1 day of driving my tire light went on. Tire is totally fine. So it must be the way they put the brakes back on the wheel. Have seen numerous reviews like this on Yelp as well. Next time will take it to the dealer for better QA work.

I had an issue with my cars cooling system that wasn t diagnosed at several different mechanic locations. I brought my car into Midas and they took great care to properly diagnose and fix my vehicle. It is never enjoyable to have to car expenses. However, thanks to the professionals at Midas, a quality repair job will give you peace of mind that it will be done properly and will not reoccur immediately. 10/10 will recommend to anyone I come across.

I came to this shop to change my headlight bulb. A few days after the replacement, I noticed that the light bulb was less bright and I stopped by another shop, where they determined that the bulb was not put back in the headlight at all, and the man did not put both light covers back on the headlight. So the work was not done properly! My wife would be a better craftsman than you. It is paid to do the job properly, not like this. How did you do this and how much you don't even know how to change a light bulb on a car, I think you will soon have to pay for someone to come to your shop.

They have been great!! We've gone in for multiple oil changes and generally made them our go to for our car needs. They always do a courtesy inspection during oil changes and let me know what I should consider having done and whether it's something that can wait. One time, they caught that the wrong fluid had been added to the coolant so they gave me a call and quickly got it flushed out and fixed after my oil change. I also got my front tires replaced and alignment done with them as they noticed the front tires were worn down really badly on the inside rim. They always add photos and explain anything they recommend having done. So you know you can trust them. I would highly recommend going to this Midas!!

Will never use Midas again after they towed my car from the handicapped space with my handicapped placard clearly visible after hours. Not sure how that s legal! Didn t prevent a customer from getting service. But now I m out $450 to retrieve my car. Thanks a lot!!!

I was amazed by the great customer service. I had gone to Walmart and found that no one had showed up the morning I went, after they finally opened 20 minutes late. Midas did the job quickly while I waited. Excellent experience. Will be going back soon for a tune-up.

1. They emailed me and confirmed a 12:30 oil change appointment, when I show up, they tell me it s at 2:30 (clearly whoever entered it in their system made a typo either in the email confirmation to me or their scheduling software). Not apologetic at all and initially told me to come back later.2. Finally agreed to take my car then but told me it would be an hour since they were going to lunch. Then tried to say oil changes take an hour (never have3. They tried to overcharge me on the intial oil change quote (do they think I can t read numbers????). When I pointed it out, he held firm. It wasn t until I pointed it out a second time that he reprinted a correct quote.4. Of course, hour hour turned into 1h40m5. +1 star because he offered a $10 discount (only for someone else to come in right as I swipe my card telling him to give me $20 off instead of canceling the transaction he just tells me to come back and tell them to give me $10 off )6. They left my car unlocked on the side of the road. So that paired w the $20 vs $10 thing, 1 star definitely won t come back here for something as simple as an oil change.*Edit upon the response:Might be mixing my service/appt up with someone else s because half of what is referenced isn t accurate?I submitted for an appointment and received email confirmation (from Anthony) for a 12:30 appt, I showed this to the person at the front desk when he said my appointment was scheduled for 2:30. Seems like Anthony made a typo in my appt email confirmation or in the scheduling system.The timing issue was that it took an 1h40m when I was told an hour initially. Historically I ve taken my car to the dealership where the oil change (w appt) is 30ish mins. Oil change quote as in what the front desk makes you sign agreeing to the service and price before your car is taken back.I can appreciate a compliant lunch break, the problem really was around the mis-scheduling and/or miscommunication to me about my appointment time.I did have the oil change coupon and did show it to the person at the front desk.I feel like I caught you on a bad day based on this response??

Brent helped me out when I went in for an oil change and was absolutely amazing! Very helpful and super attentive to detail. He was very respectful and we had great conversation! I definitely recommend coming in for your car needs

They were quick and professional. Went in for brake flush and they noticed I had a severely damaged tire. Got tires replaced and car is safe to drive again. Well done!

When calling around for quotes on oil changes, they had the best offer with $20 off your oil change. On top of that, they had friendly customer service and was able to assist me with quotes on other areas of my car that needs future maintenance due to the construction roads in Pacific Beach. People at midas, yes they probably do work hard but they are very unprofessional if u want to possibly be able to get in (even if you book an appointment) I suggest way early bc I booked mine with the guy on the phone to confirm. It was for 4pm and when we got there they told us they couldn t bc their still working on other cars,but remember the guy on the phone said it would be fine. This wasn t the first time that it happened but it was a different location. I also don t see how they couldn t call me to cancel so I didn t waste my gas and whatnot

Same day brake/rotor replacement for my 21 GMC. Brought the car in at 2pm and was out by 4:15pm, pretty good for same day service.David was friendly, price matched and I even walked out without upfront cost which was a nice bonus. I will def return. Wish I had them do my battery replacement that was done 1 day before at the disastrous pep boys.Quality work they stand by it seems w/lifetime warrantee on the pads so no complaint here. RESPONSE TO OWNER REPLY:4 stars = super happy5 stars = blown away simmer down over there Midas.. lmaoMy 4 means more than most ppl overzealous 5

Super super rude and angry guy working on front desk.Dont go here especially if you have some kind of accent. Made appointment came there and guy was: i dont have time in very very rude manner. He could call me and tell me that they will not have time so I dont drive car which needs oil change for nothing. I asked him why are you rude and angry and he said: you want me to be angry Get out of my store. Not sure how he works there at all. Never ever been in a situation like this.

It was horrible..you guys have promotions for oil changes and the most expensive one is 89. So I brought my own oil and filter and I get charged 123$ for the oil change..it makes no sense own how if I supply my own oil and filter it costs more then your own promotions.

Always check the shop's work people! I sadly experienced some shady behavior when I came here for an oil change April 15. I ended up waiting an hour and a half for my 2015 wrangler (car was taken in immediately). While waiting I overheard one of the technicians asking another technician about misplacing something. When I asked what the delay was they said they didn't have the filter they needed so had to send some one to O'reily. I thought okay great, at least they're getting the right part for me - which they should have been able to see they had or not before servicing my vehicle. I watch one of the techs look over the engine block with a light appearing to be searching for something for a while. Anyways eventually my Jeep is finally ready to go, or so to say. THANKFULLY I checked under the hood, and they had failed to replace my engine cover, and I would have driven off with out it as it was left in the garage. The technician apologized and said he took over this oil change half way through and didn't realize there was one. Okay, fair enough, he replaced it and did a final look over (so I thought). I drive home and notice the hood wasn't shut right. I look over again - closer, and the oil cap isn't screwed in place - they had misplaced it under the hood - I believe this is what they had lost originally; they ultimately couldn't find it, switched technicians and just said it was good to go! I lucked out, but the cap could have been lost forever. I'd like to give them another chance, but how can I even trust the work they do based on my experience?Update: it s been 10 months since I filled out the form with complaint. Never heard back from them. No service recovery. I realize it s a simple mistake, but there is no accountability and it s disappointing.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Negative stars would be a great option too. Made an appointment online for an oil change. Got to Midas they told me they were behind and it would probably be about noon?! Not happy. An oil change takes about 20 min but whatever. It's noon and now they want me to spend my day waiting for them to get around to it. Dude was rude too like I don't know what an oil change consists of. Kick rocks Midas. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. They told me they're a week behind on work like that's some great excuse. Not good business. Taking mine elsewhere.

Midas does a great job, have brought two of my vehicles in for oil change. They include a full complementary vehicle inspection, which has been great for making sure your vehicle is in the best running condition. Brakes started to grind on my 2017 F250 Looked up for national brand as I am always on the road in the west. This Midas shop fit what I looking for in a service partner. Booked appointment for next day Saturday service. They checked in with me early next morning and I then took it in. They inspected and double checked every thing that needed done. Forty plus years ago I would have done all the work myself so it all made sense to me. They gave me an estimate and I approved. I believe they are very good.Service: Brakes

Friday afternoon I discovered a flat tire on my Honda, and decided to drive to Midas. I was afraid the shop wouldn t have the tire I needed or that I would have to leave my car overnight. As I pulled up I was immediately greeted by the manager. I explained my situation and within 15 minutes I was pleasantly surprised to know they had the tire and that I would have my car that same day. Less than two hours later I was able to drive away with a new tire, and make the long trip I had planned for the weekend.I highly recommend Midas for their excellent customer service and expertise.Service: Tires

--ORIGINAL REVIEW --Awesome place, super helpful diagnosing issues and walking me through the what needed to be fixed. Quick service and great prices as well.-- UPDATED REVIEW --I posted the original review too early (day work was originally done). The next day I went to drive my car the transmission was still leaking fluid. This is after I paid 4k to get repairs I was told were "needed". I'm sure the car needed some of the repairs they listed, however I get the car worked on and inspected regularly from a reputable dealership. I was never told of these issues by my regular shop. I gave Midas the benefit of doubt and had them perform the work. Once I told them the transmission was still leaking fluid, I asked for an estimate to get transmission fixed once again. They never got back to me. I took the car to another shop and they immediately identified the issue. Definitely wasted 4k at Midas, take your car somewhere else or at least get a second opinion before letting them do anything.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Sometimes I feel pressured to fix some things at the shop, but the team respected my decision to fix things myself. Quick turnaround in my experience, and I appreciated the neat link they sent me of all the issues with pictures and suggestions to go with it. Pleased with the shop, but not with the price of the tow I needed to get my truck there. I would suggest Midas gets a tow company to sponsor each other that offers cheaper towing than calling a tow company myself. That would be a bigger incentive for me to come back when something goes wrong that I can't fix myself.

Amazing service! I couldn t recommend this place enough. My engine light was on and I wasn t sure where to go, but after being scammed by another mechanic I m happy I found Midas. My service was affordable and the store manager Brent went above and beyond to explain every step and detail of it! Top notch company and team. I usually go to discount tire but they can't seem to manage appointments. I was told a 1.5 hour wait since there were "3-4 ppl ahead of me" which doesn't make sense as I was 10 minutes early to my 2pm appointment.Midas was the opposite. Dropped it off, before my appointment, and was done before expected. Truck drives great and the team was really friendly.
