Tuan is excellent! He has been taking beautiful care of my Mercedes CLK 430 for over six years. He is very honest and hard working! I had a check engine light that was very hard to fix. Tuan even worked weekends to fix this difficult problem! He never gave up until he found out what was wrong! After years of M-B dealership service on my SL550, I decided to call Mercedes European Motors about getting my car s 40k mile service. My call to them was very professional, very pleasant, and very accommodating as well.When I arrived, my car was taken in right on time by Tuan, who is the owner and M-B Master Mechanic, the highest professional certification by M-B. He explained what would be done and then got to work.Since this was my first visit, I wanted to learn as much as I could from Lidia, the Office Manager, who was happy to fill me in on their 20-years in business and 10-yrs at this location, while attending to her office responsibilities.On completion of the service, each item was documented and a problem found with the brakes was also explained.The car was then taken out for a test-drive by Tuan and returned with a complimentary car wash. Pricing is transparent, very reasonable and no surprises. Most of all, my SL550 has never looked or driven better.I will return my car to them next month for the brakes, and I m looking forward to them protecting my investment in the SL550 from now on.Overall, this is the best service I ve ever experienced.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

Coming here for my repairs on my Mercedes was nothing short of impressive! I was shopping quotes around to replace my front brake pads on my 98 Benz e320 and an oil change and kept getting ridiculous out the door prices. From the start their price saved me a lot! Not only that Tuan, the mechanic I spoke to was extremely friendly and accommodating. Once I dropped off my car I was told he would try his best to have my car done before I had work. Tuan managed to get my vehicle done hours ahead of time and always kept me in the loop of what was going on with my car and how much it would cost me! They even used Mercedes OEM parts! Lidia who worked the reception desk was also extremely friendly and kind. It is safe to say they have earned my continued business. 10/10 would recommend (hope I spelled their names correctly)Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change

This is far and away one of the most expedient, and consistent auto shops. Our guy Tuan never fails to deliver on simple, quick service with a minimum of red-tape.Services are usually completed within a work day.The admin is friendly, organized, and tends to be flexible with any schedule.So long as this shop exists , my c300 will be cruising at least another 10 years .Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

The only place I ll take my E350. They replaced my brakes last spring, and I was extremely happy with the service. I recently had to use their handywork when I was in a near major collision on the 405 in Long Beach. A car lost control two lanes over and crossed in front of me at a high rate of speed. I had to lock up the brakes to avoid hitting him, and the brakes worked as advertised. I called the shop and thanked them for their attention to detail.Service: Brake service & repair

Outstanding experience! Excellent service by great people. Tuan is a Mercedes certified expert, honest and very considerate. His wife, Lidia, is equally thoughtful and sweet. I've had my car for 10 years and had never taken it anywhere other than the dealership, until last month when I took it to Tuan. He was kind enough to work on my car all day and stayed late so I can pick it up the same day. The cost was considerably less than the dealership. I'm very happy that I found this place, and will certainly not take my car anywhere else. Very trustworthy people with years of specialized experience. I highly recommend this business.

The reviews of this place on Google is what got me to give them a try. So I am writing a review of my own to help others when making a decision.This place uses original OEM MB parts. Straight from the dealer.Great service, affordable price and best of all HONEST! Something you don't find easy in the mechanic shop world!They could have easily pushed to change my breaks since I was almost asking him to do so, do to the shaking everytime I braked from freeway speeds. Instead, he checked it out and did my tire rotation and the problem was solved, he recommended a tire balance to be done which they don't do but I will be taking it to get done within the next couple of days.I brought the car in for a Service B 60k mile schedule serviced and was prepared to pay for the break change as well. Instead I just paid for the schedule maintenance.I will definitely be back here again for all my MB services and needs.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an honest MB shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been a customer for 3 years now, and all my service has been great. I have not had to take my car back , ever, after a service with Twan. I've had 2 major services, C & D, my brakes, power steering , and a few other small annoying issues that come with having a car. As long as I have a Mercedes, I will be a customer of this shop. The service here is the best and the price is affordable (I'm not exaggerating)

It was a lucky day when we decided to research the Internet to find the best technicians to service our S500 Mercedes because we did find the best. We had been given estimates for parts and labor by two different businesses and both were well over $1500. Mercedes European Motors diagnosed the legitimate problems, gave us an estimate of $480 and fixed the problems all in a matter of hours and well within the initial estimate. The owner Tuan and Master Technician, Michael Reed were outstanding with regard to their knowledge, service, honesty and courtesy, and Tuan's wife Lydia made certain we were comfortable while waiting for the service and repairs to be completed. We are definitely satisfied customers and highly recommend Mercedes European Motors to all Mercedes owners.

I ve been going to Mercedes European Motors for the past 3 years for ALL my Mercedes 350 ML SUV needs, repair and maintenance, after having gone previously to the Mercedes Dealer in SD, and I couldn t be happier! I want to thank the people who left reviews on Yelp as that is how I found Tuan and his team. Tuan is very knowledgeable, professional and goes the extra mile to please his customers (understatement!!!). I get great quality car care and repair and fantastic customer service at a very good price! Thank you Tuan and Lydia!

If you are searching for trustworthy expert service for your Mercedes you should definitely check out this place. I was thoroughly impressed with the work they did on my car. I have been taking my car to the dealer for over 10 years. It was seldom a pleasant experience, often difficult getting timely service and always pricey. I met Tuan a few years back when he was working as a master mechanic at the Mercedes dealership. Recently the cluster instrumentation panel on my car indicated I had a brake issue. I immediately thought, oh no, another nightmare trip to the dealer. A friend told me that Tuan had his own shop, so I decided to try him out. What a pleasant surprise! Tuan has brought all the great service expertise that I wanted from a Mercedes dealership, but at a reasonable price. Tuan quickly and accurately diagnosed the situation and thoroughly explained the problem. I was extremely happy with the estimate as I know I would have paid quite a bit more at the Mercedes dealer. Tuan uses only genuine Mercedes parts. This place is truly a Mercedes dealership alternative.

Mercedes European Motors displays the way a service business should be. From the initial phone call for information through paying for service, I was very happy. The technician that worked on my car, took the time to show me his findings and explained what he was going to do to fix it. I have owned my Mercedes for over eight years and wish they would have been in business from my first service. I highly recommend Mercedes European Motors!

I have nothing but praise for Mercedes European Motors! Knowledgeable, honest, and on time! Both Tuan and his wife Lydia were extremely helpful in getting me into the repair shop and going way above and beyond what is expected. Tuan knows these cars inside and out and he will not do any work or charge you for anything unless you car needs it, which seems to be pretty rare. I will never go back to the dealership again for my service. I have been going to Mercedes European Motors for the last two years now and every time I go in I am constantly surprised by how thruthful and knowledgeable they are. Most recently I was in to get the windshield washer reservoir replaced as it seemed to be leaking. After taking two hours to get to the reservoir in the middle of my engine compartment Tuan saw that it was in fact not the reservoir that was the problem but a hose. Instead of charging for part and labor like most shows would have done Tuan was honest with me and didn't charge me a dime and said they will order the correct part and have me come back in. He saved me hundreds and I can't thank him enough! I would recommend this shop to anyone driving a Mercedes or BMW. Thank you Tuan and Lydia!

Took my 2010 ML350 for Service C, prior to making the appointment i called a 4 placed around SD, everyone wanted around 450-550 with the only appointment available at the end of July and when asking them what the service includes everything sounded like "Checking" with an oil change?? Why would i want to pay $500 for an oil change? when i called Merk Euro Motors, Tuan was very helpful, knowledgeable and priced right. I just couldn't allow myself to pay $500 for an oil change and minor inspections considering that the car had 30,000 Miles.While at Merk Euro Motors i was greeted kindly, Tuan introduced himself and was kind enough to let me know that he will be working on my car, sat down next to me and printed the Mercedes recommended Service C plan which he was following with OEM parts. Tuan used to be a Mercedes Master Technician at the Dealer (a.k.a The Enemy) before leaving wanting to venture out on his own, and thank God he did!!Total time spent and experience for this shop was awesome, Tuan was honest, priced right for us normal people. He had the experience and backed it up by completing the Job successfully, what else would you want from a shop!! He will be my go to Mechanic starting today!! Thank you Tuan!

I always feel that 5 stars should only be given to really outstanding businesses, those that go above and beyond for their customers. For Mercedes European Motors, I would not hesitate to give them more! I've been to my share of service centers, both dealership and independents, but this was by far the best experience I've had. Allow me to elaborate:1) Fabulous service: Tuan, his wife Lidia, and Mike are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable (plus, Tuan & Mike are Mercedes Certified Technicians, so your MB will be in expert hands). I had a couple of issues to take care of, one of which was a major "Service B". What I greatly appreciated was that when Mike was nearly done with the service, he brought me over to my car to show me the areas of concern during his inspection. There were things that needed attention, typical for a 10 year old car, but it was never about pressuring me to get them done right away so that they could get more business. He showed me exactly where the trouble spots were, both below the car and in the engine compartment. Mike then listed the items that needed care by order of importance and gave me a break down of how much each would cost.Aside from the major service, I had an issue regarding a check engine light that came on recently, but only when the A/C would be turned on. Initially, I wasn't going to have it checked out because my old service guy and other places were asking $150-160 just to decipher the check engine light code. So I asked Mike for his advice, if he knew if this was a common occurrence with my car's model. What he did instead was tell me that he would do me a favor and check it out free of charge. Wow! He deciphered the code and checked out the system; he found that it was a couple of sensors going bad, nothing mechanical to worry about.2) Great price: Getting service for a Mercedes can be very pricey and it can be (and usually is) downright ridiculous at the dealership. My previous independent service guys (ex-service guys now) did a little better, but Tuan and MEM beat them both easily! I almost feel like I've cheated them for paying so little! But rest assured, the low price does not mean they use low-grade stuff--they use the same MB checklist, the same oil, MB parts, etc., that you would get at a dealership.I've had my Mercedes for 5 years now and each year, I curse myself for getting it because the service costs so much and the places I've been to have ranged from awful to "meh." But after finding MEM, I'm such a proud owner now...having a great mechanic is an integral part of owning a car. I feel like I've won the lottery by finding a good, honest, fair-priced mechanic! Not sure what my next car will be, but I certainly hope I can get it serviced by MEM...if I have to get another MB, so be it!

More than a mechanic...a car doctor!When I first started talking to Tuan about my '03 E500 I was having problems with service from my other mechanic. Tuan listened and provided sound advice, even suggesting that I continue to work with my other mechanic until he could no longer resolve my problems. What were my problems? Well I had front brakes changed and 2 out of three front suspension arms replaced, and ever since a low but solid knocking noises in the front end when applying brakes and turning the steering wheel. My other mechanic always made me feel like I was crazy and asking way too much for him to listen to the 'knock'. My other mechanic ended up fixing the brake knock by replacing aftermarket brake pads with higher quality pads. The turn knock however was still there. I left it alone, tired of asking too much of my other mechanic.One month later my transmission failed and I towed my car to the other mechanic where he promptly filled the fluid, replaced the cap and charged me a nominal fee. I then drove my car straight to Tuan s place and never looked back at my other mechanic. Good riddance.Tuan quickly diagnosed my transmission with a failed torque converter and gave me a reasonable estimate. While at his shop I figured I d get my spark plugs replaced and see if Tuan could locate the mystery knocking noise. After several days Tuan had the transmission back running and replaced my plugs. The knocking noise however was a bit more challenging and as any mechanic knows, not a fun job to diagnose. Tuan found the last of my suspension arms bad, replaced them, but only part of the knocking noise was gone. At this point I and Tuan were worried that something more significant like the steering rack might be bad. After several more days of diagnosing it Tuan finally decided to check the other mechanic s work by removing and replacing all the nuts on the other two suspension arms replaced at the other shop. Tuan was suspicious that the noise could be from over torque nuts. By this time I should point out that my car was at Tuan s shop for almost 1.5 weeks and he was working evenings just to get my car back to me and him back to his other not so need customers. Tuan was stressed but always maintained a positive and friendly attitude, determined to put a smile on my face. On the last day Tuan called to ask me to come test drive my car. Finally, after months of dealing with a bad mechanic I had found a great one. Tuan had solved the knocking noise! Not only was my car back to quite running condition, but Tuan gained my trust and respect as a great mechanic, business man, and a doctor willing to listen to a patient.Thanks Tuan.

It took these guys eight days to give me a quote to fix my Mercedes Benz starter of $970. Crooks! I push the car out of this terrible garage 100 yards to Debold Automotive next door they completed the repair within 24 hours for $510 out the door! Don't know how these guys are still in business? Consumer beware almost double the cost and 10 * the time :-( I pray for businesses like this

I was so impressed that I couldn't resist writing an excellent review about them.- the $ is very reasonable- staff/ owner is honest- they connect with you and explain what they are doing and what their findings are very clearly.- facility is clean- we are moving out of san diego but will definitely drive back for our mercedes benz's next service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I came here for my A5 service, first time... Customer service is 110% I was treated like a family.. You can tell by a company how quality their work will be just by meeting the people.. They did a great job, a good quality of service and honest.. Thank You for the complimentary carwash.. I recommend this place and I would go here again..ARIEL D. SANTOS.

Good price with good service. Has done my GLC service B here and it only costs me $450 OTD which is 1/3 of MB dealership

On vacation when crankshaft sensor started to go out when it got hot, shuts down fuel pump. They replaced in one hour at a great price! All is well, vacation saved! Thank you!
