Best and most knowledgeable place in Southern Cal. Scott the owner and his team have so much experience from all the years of doing everything perfect. You really get what you pay for and it's worth every bit of money and time that I spent on my cars with La Jolla Audio.

Second time I've taken my car toyota MR2 there. They do great work. Alot more than just audio. Scott goes out of his way to explain what they will be doing and can do for your car. If it's a minor or major job,they can do it. They just installed my new Momo steering wheel

As good as customer service gets, in my experience. These guys work on top of the line vehicles, so you know they're not going to scratch anything or cut any corners. Communication was the best I've ever experienced. Dropped off a very expensive vehicle for a client and they updated the head unit in a few hours. They made sure all of the factory functions still worked. They even charged less for the head unit than Amazon does; this was a pleasant surprise. Owner is super knowledgeable and passionate about his business. Overall, just a great experience and I couldn't recommend them enough to anybody, whether you have a basic car with a simple install, or you have a premium vehicle and want to get the works done!

3rd time using them. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Alpine unit for a highly original 997.2. Perfectly done. Donald is a great communicator and anticipates all the questions. Carpet's vacuumed. Nothing left undone. The attention to detail is extraordinary and greatly appreciated.

The absolute best! I ve got some funky project cars and these guys have done all of the audio for them. Installed a head unit, troubleshot an issue with my alarm system, swapped out the head units between two of my cars. They are always very friendly and helpful with any project big or small.

Went here after Scott sent me a detailed quote for a speaker repair. He investigated the problem and we're able to do a quick fix at absolutely no cost to me. I cannot express how grateful I was to him for his honesty and generosity when they could have easily charged me for their time and expertise. Stand up guy and business. Would recommend to anyone based on the way they operate their business in the best interest of the customer!

I recently purchased a RetroSound 2 radio with Bluetooth for my 1971 Buick Riviera from La Jolla Audio. The thing that sold me on going to them in the first place was reading another customer s review about their extraordinary customer service and integrity, and after the fact, I can second that emotion one hundred percent!The original installation process was flawless, but I noticed that when I used the Bluetooth for phone calls my voice was very distorted on the other end, I brought the car back to Scott, La Jolla Audio s owner, and after confirming this problem, he acknowledged that he recently had the same problem with two other RetroSound 2 radios that he installed. He was convinced that it was a defect in that particular model and therefore didn t want to replace mine with the same model. What he did was replace my model 2 with a model 4, which I think retails for around $100 more than the 2, spent another three and a half hours swapping out the radios (due to my ancient, disintegrating, very fragile dash,)and he was happy to do it for me! He also did it the very same day that I brought the car back, without any pre scheduled appointment.Can you imagine better customer than that? I sure can t.!Oh yeah. the new system sounds great too, and now that the Bluetooth phone option is working, it s everything I expected!

If you want a shady installation with zero support and workmanship then go somewhere else :-). Scott and his crew are true professionals and have been doing it longer than most audio shops in San Diego. I trust La Jolla Audio and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family

Very good service, with friendly, helpful people. I got a new Porsche outfitted with a Pioneer 8100NEX, front and back cameras and a radar detector from Cobra. Everything went smoothly and on time. Follow up after the sale was excellent, as I had a few questions that were quickly and professionally answered. They're expensive, but if you have a nice car and want a trouble free experience, call Donald.

Everytime I go I reaffirm that I made the right decision. They not only know how to do their jobs excellently but you definitely get what you pay for. Scott is an amazing person and he is the reason I am a return customer and I have brought my friends and family.

Gary is a very nice man. He could not fix my radio as he did not have the part I needed but he kindly took the time to walk me through how I can diagnose my car radio as I am a little technical myself. He did not intend to charge me or rush me through stuff. His business needs to be noticed. Definitely recommend.

I had my Mercedes sprinter van stereo and antenna replaced and could not be more pleased with the experience. Donald gave me a detailed quote over the phone and took the time to walk me through the setup when I came to pick up my van. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and extremely knowledgeable crew. LJ Audio has a reputation for being the best in the business and I have to agree. They get booked out in advance, so plan ahead. They are worth the wait.

I took my vehicle to Scott and they were able to diagnose it immediately and get the job done. They really know what they re doing when it comes to car stereos and if I were you and I had a nice car I really wouldn t take it anywhere else.

I visited the shop for repair of the radio in my VW. Gary met me at the door; immediately went to work, and took care of the repair both quickly and professionally.. Very happy the radio was restored, and for 2/3rd what a dealer quoted.

I was trying to teach myself how to hook up my own sound system and messed up hooking in the ground wire for my subwoofer. This blew a few fuses in my car, but at the time I didn't know what the problem was. Came here and Scott helped me out free of charge (to fix the fuses) and told me exactly what to do to hook up the subwoofer correctly!! He is a incredibly nice guy and the service was impeccable!

I had a really bad experience going to another audio shop where they did a horrible job so I called Scott to fix the problem and he got the job done in a few hours what the other place could not do in 2 days. Regardless of the level of audio service you need, whether it's adding on to an existing system, integration with OEM equipment, or full custom design, you shouldn't ever have to compromise. If you understand the value of expert service, this place is the smartest choice.
