I tinted my car with Jet Black tint, I was not satisfied with the result for the first time because the quality was terrible. Dust and hair under the film, and even the peeling film. I made an appointment to redo the tint. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was shocked at how much worse the job was done the second time. Since the weather was rainy, the guys said that everything should go away in 4-5 days. As soon as the weather improved, I saw this (I will attach photos below). The film is not adjusted to the edge, there is a large bubble of water under the film, and the front driver's window is tinted with a film of a different color. Three of the four plastic trims of the window frames were scratched and damaged. Salesman promised to send me a quote for replacing these parts (new parts + labour) the next day. The next day I didn t receive the quote and called this guy to find out when I would receive this quote. He replied that he would definitely send it to me tomorrow. The next day I did not receive a quote, and then I went to BMW Dealership, requested a quote and brought it to JetBlack tint at Point Loma (San Diego), to which I received the answer wait until Monday. They treat business and cars irresponsibly. At the moment I am waiting for the final decision from this company. If you don t want to mess up your new car, I recommend not to use their services.Upd: Just spoke with the manager, they won't replace parts that they have damaged. I have to go to consumer rights protection company. Will keep you posted.

I m a pretty reasonable guy, and I usually don t leave reviews but this one has frustrated me a bit.All of the issues were small ones, but collectively they added up to a sub par experience.1.) I got a call stating that there were some hard to do small windows and that it wouldn t be done in time. No worries, it s a second car.2.) I arrived the next day and the windows weren t done, Ariel just said the installer was having trouble, again, if it was just the two windows, not a big deal, they are super small and if I m being honest they look like a pain to get to!3.) My battery was dead when I tried to leave the place. Not sure if it was being used as the shops stereo or what, which, I don t care, but have it ready to go when I get there Mind you, it s a 2015 vw and the battery was replaced 5 months ago with an Optima. 4.) Three of the windows have severe unfinished edges and to be fair, Ariel did tell me to come back to get them re-done, and I will.5.) The straw that broke the sea turtle s back. (See photos) I guess the installer used a ton of soap and water and it leaked all over my headliner. Ariel gave me the fix and it s drying now, so we ll see, but it shouldn t have left the shop like this.He seems like a reasonable guy and if the fix doesn t work, I believe he ll take care of me, but overall it was quite an unprofessional experience.Most of the windows on my tint looks great, way better than when I took it in. The installers just need to slow down and pay more attention to detail.As frustrated as I am, they are all little things that I believe can be fixed. It s just frustrating after paying for a $400 pro tint job.

The manager told us to take them to small claims court if we wanted a refund. That s what you ll expect at this place. Paid thousands of dollars for PPF and Tint on a brand new Tesla Model Y. The edges of the PPF are peeling with dirt getting under the film.The ceramic tint has bubbles forming after a week. The manager told my wife the works acceptable.The photos speak for themselves. We gave them a second chance to fix the problems initially. They kept the vehicle for over 2 weeks. 16-17 days, we only had the vehicle 5 days before dropping it off. They expect you to keep coming back to drop off your vehicle whenever issues appear with their work. That is unacceptable the work should be done right the 1st time not the 3rd or 4th time.If you have a nice vehicle do not let them touch it, leave it at that.

I had to make a second trip to fix all the issues. The negative is that the job is not 100% perfect, but you get what you pay for. I personally don't believe I'll be a return customer, that's my opinion. The price is good for people who are short on cash and just want the tint done. Good luck with your business in the future.Updated: The tint job bubbles up, and it's peeling in some area. The worst job ever.

Highly recommend!! Best place in town for window tinting. My car has a sunroof and the heat was really bad because of it. With the tint my car now stays cool and I no longer get headaches! I decided to do the rest of my car to keep it cooler and protect my arms from the sun. Ariel was so helpful and was able to do my sunroof same day without an appointment! Very knowledgeable, professional and honest! This is where I will always return for any future cars!

Fantastic job very happy Ariel the manager was very attentive and knowledgeable in the field if you want your stuff done right go to jet black tint they know what their doing and do a great job!!! Super happy and impressed with the technology, and knowledge thank you again jet black tint!!

Highly recommend! Booked online and was able to make some changes when i dropped off my car, friendly staff and quick service (3 hours for a full size SUV). Pictures are from 2 weeks after my tinting and it still looks amazing!

I recently had my car windows tinted at this shop, and overall, it was a positive experience. Initially, there were minor bubbling issues, but when I contacted the shop, they were responsive and willing to fix them. Moreover, I realized the tint was too dark for my liking. When I brought this up during the bubble fix, the owner, Ariel, went above and beyond, offering to redo the entire tint at a lighter shade when he didn t have too. I appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction. Great service!

Excellent customer service, great and friendly staff, also shout out to John and Tyler for making our ride look amazing and making sure we were satisfied Got ceramic tint all around including the roof and windshield for our 2023 Tesla ModelY LR, took 3-4 hours but totally worth the wait! Good work and surprisingly fast. Went in for a removal and installation of rear windows films. Ariel and the team attended me without hesitation and solved my problem. The team even whent the extra mile removing my kids sticker collection without braking it, simply express professional knowledge and skills on the work. Super happy with the job.

AWFULI don't recommend anybody use their Detail services, they are using unskilled laborers, no Detailing tools.They keep my car for 4 days and charged me $150 for Interior detail, Nobody inspects the quality of the job.I start to Detail the car again and it is much better than them.I took following pictures after Detailin after picked up the car.

Superior customer service and work quality, and it was all so easy - couldn't have had a better first-time tint experience.I purchased my services online then headed over where he explained them in detail. He physically showed me the advantages of the ceramic film I selected, explained the differences in tint shade and his recommendations, and I was on my way.At the time promised, they texted me when my car was ready, and when I picked it up, I was very satisfied with the results. It looks great and the heat and glare reduction is phenomenal.

This place is terrible and should not be in business. You know they're shady and have bad business practices when you can't get ahold of anyone of importance, instead, you're referred to a third-party call center who have been instructed not give out any of the company's information.My recent car window tinting with them was far from satisfactory. The initial tinting job had several problems, including bubbles, uneven application, scratches, etc. I had to return to the shop 4 times for them to attempt to fix the issues, each time encountering delays and inconvenience. I've invested 15 hours of my time for them to try and fix my issues and despite their efforts, the problems persisted and were not fully resolved. The company refused to give me a refund, claiming their warranty only covers product defects, not my satisfaction.This place does very bad business. Stay away and don't fall for their sales.Not to mention they have and F on the Better Business Bureau website.

Very friendly, it was my first time dealing with window tinting and they explained the differences between the films and how it would be effective between different percentages of films as well. Overall a very good experience and I would recommend to anyone!!

Very lazy and poorly done tint job. I paid for the package that has them remove old tint as well and there is visible residue of the old tint on my car here and there. They also did a lazy job not cutting out the tint where my 3rd brake light turns on. It's not a big deal but its noticeably darker for other drivers since I got 5% on my rear windshield. Also the tint film itself has an odd greenish type of haze, not a big problem to me but I've definitely seen some more high-quality film before. Not only that but there are also little water bubbles that can be seen when looking close enough. All around very poor and lazy job done by likely someone inexperienced or perhaps someone who hasn't gotten a sufficient amount of training. The only thing even slightly redeeming is that it's a little bit cheaper than most places. Nonetheless, you get what you pay for and my tint job was most certainly not worth it. If you care about your car, spend the couple extra bucks elsewhere.

Made an appointment online and they took me in promptly. They took about 2.5 hours to do a full 4Runner. It is cheaper to get regular tinted windows but they offer everything up to a very good ceramic tint. Great service overall

Very friendly staff. Ariel was very knowledgeable and pinpointed a solution for my needs with the proper window tint. The price was great and I would highly recommend. Arnel went the extra mile to make sure everything turned out as it should. The end product turned out great and you can tell they re using quality materials because I do not feel that suns heat through the windows anymore.

This place stole $200 for me for services I never received. I placed an order online for mobile window tint. Only for them to state they don t service my area after they took my payment. Now giving me the run around for almost a month for a refund. Take your business elsewhere!!!

Did well on ceramic tint work and timing of my 2018 rav4 but 2016 focus st came back missing a cover for the rear wiper and took over 24 hours to complete. Would still go back

I had to make 2 appts here to get my windows tinted. I ended up wasting my time TWICE for a 20 min drive. I made an appt for 1:15pm. And they were fully booked. If you re gonna have me make an appt, make sure you guys keep your word and not have me schedule a THIRD appt. Poor quality of service.

Great service. Ariel was very helpful the moment I walked in. He showed me my options on tint and explained the warranty for the tint. Best of all, he was able to squeeze my truck in today to get it tinted.
