We had a large coolant leak as we were driving our car home and also experiences electrical issues with our indoor cooling system and seat warmers. We did our research and decided to take it to Coventry cars for the repair due to their great reviews online. So glad we did, they dealt with our warranty service provider, took care of the third party inspection, ordered all parts, and had our F Type ready within a week (on top of that, it all happened during Thanksgiving week which is truly impressive). We could not be more pleased with their service and professional guidance.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Engine repair, A/C installation & repair

They have been my Jaguar garage for years now. Trace, Bill, Paul, and all the techs are fantastic. They are thorough, fair, and honest. Work is completed as promised, and they always give a 10% discount to returning clients. Prices are way way better than the dealership. Call them for your Jag service n Tell them Bret referred you. I have saved thousands.

I honestly wish I could write a great review for this place, but after reviewing the work and my experince, I honestly cant.I brought my 1995 XJ12 here to have some rodent damage repaired. The work was fairly basic, but electrical is outside of my wheelhouse. After interviewing multiple Jaguar shops, I decided to go with Coventry due to their stellar reviews and experience with the Jaguar V12However, upon paying my bill and picking up the car, I found a 2.5 ft long scratch in the trunk lid! Upon confronting the staff at Coventry, they immediately denied everything and said it showed up that way. However, upon reviewing my pictures of when the tow truck driver dropped off my car, no scratch was there. Some of it did polish out to be fair, but its still very noticeable. Additionally, I found a chip and white paint rub off on my passenger door that was not there prior to my leaving it with Coventry.The work they did to repair the wiring on my cruise control actuator was sub-par and they claimed the ground strap was undamaged. Upon inspecting the work when I got my car home, the ground strap was chewed 80% of the way through. To be fair to Coventry though, the wiring repairs they made to the injection harness were very well done.If you own an especially rare or nice condition Jaguar that you would like to keep nice, don't bring it here.

My XF had been sitting (broken down) at my usual shop for a month waiting for a part on a global back order with a delivery date that kept slipping to several months out! I finally took it upon myself to start calling Jaguar dealers around the country and after striking out call after call, in desperation I asked the nice man on the phone at Annapolis Maryland Jaguar if he knew of anywhere I might find a reputable used part. Not knowing where I was calling from, he recommended I try a shop called Coventry West in San Diego, right in my back yard! I called and spoke with Trace who immediately knew this was a problem part. I ll spare all the details, but he was able to locate a brand-new part that should work based on my vin#, etc. He ordered it and a few days later when it came in I picked it up and took it to my shop, and . it didn t work with my car. I called Trace right away, he was very surprised, but assured me I could return it and he d refund all my money. Keep in mind, I was a stranger to him, not a current customer, but he was willing to stand behind the part he had sold me, and potentially eat the cost! Although I appreciated that immensely, that would have put me back at square one waiting several more months, or maybe indefinitely for the part I needed. Trace and Paul then went above and beyond and thought outside the box and found a creative solution that ultimately made the part fit my car! I was able to deliver it back to my original shop and I was driving less than 24 hours later!!I cannot thank Trace and Paul enough, and as long as I m driving a Jaguar I decided then that I will only be taking it to Coventry.Well, I had one glorious week back in my car, and then unfortunately noticed a leak that appeared to be coolant. Trace squeezed me in right away and had me fixed and back on the road in a matter of hours! It s also worth mentioning that the week prior when I had been in the shop on two days back-to-back with the infamous part, I got chatting with a customer in the waiting area. Each one told me they d been bringing their Jaguars to Coventry for decades! One of them even called them Magicians and said, they can fix anything! I tend to agree, as I watched them solve a major problem right before my eyes! I m very happy this ordeal led me to them!

These guys will bend over backwards to get your Jaguar running smooth again, ASAP. They know all the sources for finding parts for the older Jags. Their pricing is very fair and they give discounts to Jag club members!

Trace and Bill are excellent care takers of these stunning but sometimes needy british cars.They most recently performed a PPI for a sales client of mine and then worked with the new owner to perform some of the recommended service from said ppi.The whole process was easy and smooth.

Bill and Trace are the very finest people and professionals with whom to deal and to work on your Jaguar! I ve taken my car to them numerous times and each problem has been fixed expertly and on time. They have complete integrity and always go the second mile to tackle issues. I enjoy working on my classic personally, and they are completely supportive, offering tips and never declining to be helpful. Hey, let s face it, when the local Jaguar dealer recommends them highly, that speaks volumes! Working with Trace was a great experience. Thought it was a major problem. He came up with a plan that was fair and affordable. I brought my Jaguar XF in for scheduled maintenance on one occasion and on a later date for a repair that required a diagnosis. These guys, in my experience, demonstrated incredible knowledge, reliability, and capability. Additionally, they are very courteous. They truly appear to appreciate your business. When I m in San Diego, this is the only place I will bring my Jaguar.

They were extremely knowledgeable about the issues we were having with our "new to us" 2001 Jaguar XK8 convertible. Not only did they fix everything very promptly, they pointed out some additional things to keep an eye on. Trace went out of his way to take care of us. He even showed us some examples to help explain things. We will definitely be back for future repairs.

I am seriously considering driving my car to San Diego to get the AC fixed. The guys at Coventry are the best, most dependable, accountable, and honest repair shop I have experienced in my life. Even now, having moved from San Diego 4 years ago, I call with questions which Trace patiently answers despite knowing I'm not going to be able to bring it to turn for work. If every business was run the way Coventry does business, Yelp would not exist.

I was towed in late Friday at 1 pm and really wanted my car done before closing. Trace went the extra mile, even left the shop to pick up a part that wasn't able to be delivered. He and his crew were very attentive and kind towards me, and made sure every detail was tended to on my car. What a great experience!

Oh man, I got corn-fused. I thought I was giving a review to a chicken pie shop. Well, I'm editing it to get it right. No 4-piece chicken dinner, just a great group of mechanics that really know their chicken...er...jaguars. I've been taking all 4 (two classics, two daily drivers) to them for over 20 years, and always had a great job performed, at a reasonable price. They have had troubles diagnosing things a couple times over the years, and they've never stiffed me (but have eaten a lot of hours themselves). Speaking of eating, where's that fried chicken joint? Anyway, I do recommend Trace and Bill at Coventry. You won't be disappointed. And they give out free pens!

I went there to get my rotors and brakes fixed. After repaired they started squeaking badly.The squeak is unbearable . I went back and they redid my rotors and brakes and still the same issue. I've contacted them since then AND NO REPLY back. I wouldn't recommend this place I'm not sure if my car is safe. I had no choice to go visit them instead of the dealership because of the pandemic. The dealership was fully booked and I needed this done ASAP I personally would not recommend this place I will always stick to the dealership as should everyone else you Should NEVER put aftermarket parts in your luxury vehicle PERIOD.

I went here per recommendation of someone in a FB group. My driver's side door lock stopped working and my door wouldn't open from the inside. Jaguar Coventry Cars replaced the lock in a timely and professional matter. It was a pleasure working with Trace. He seems very passionate about the work he does, and was very knowledgeable. This spot will definitely be my go to for future services.

I called Jaguar Coventry because I had some E type parts which I no longer needed, Paul gave me a fair price for all the parts.Me being a Volvo specialist and Paul a Jaguar specialist, we got along fine.If yr reading this and have a Jaguar and never been there, you should try this shop out, I would .

We have been using Coventry Motors for over 10 years in support of our '92 Sovereign that is still in fairly regular use, and a '71 Series III E Type that we bought, restored, enjoyed, and eventually sold. Great service, always up front on what did and did not need to be done. Work has always appeared to be top quality. And costs are reasonable.

Very professional and knows his jags. It's a bit of drive for me, but will still go back for jaguar specific jobs. In my experience Trace was honest and did top notch work.

I was pleasantly surprised they explained the total repair. Warranties the repair for 12 months. I feel they were very reasonable in price. I highly recommend these guys for vintage Jaguars.
