I towed my car here after breaking down from out of town. They fixed the initial problem. But they unfortunately the mechanics created additional problems. They must have blown a fuse or unplugged something in my door as the window and mirror panel now is inoperable on the entire left side of my car as a result of their work .The shop was busy and they seemed overwhelmed but with the amount of money you spend, you should expect the shop to accept responsibility if they screw up. I try to be reasonable and give the benefit of the doubt, but i was given a bit of a run around but eventuallythe owner said if i bring it by to take a look at it, (no promises) which doesn't really help knowing that I'm from out of town. The honorable thing would be to ask for a receipt from volvo service center to reimburse me for the issue that was caused by you that i now have to remedy.I like to support independent and small businesses but it remains difficult to find the right person to trust for your car. Not recommended.

Plain and simple, Mike is a good dude. I took my Subaru in for repairs and thru a crazy set of circumstance and events which I will not go into in detail but just to say that the car would not cooperate in getting repaired. Mike could have and probably had the right to charge me for a significant amount of work but chose to not do so saying he would only do the right thing and charge for a fraction of it.Service: Transmission

Every time, it's straightforward and trustworthy service. We got a great repair at a reasonable price. After Mike worked on my car, it is running better than it ever has. Another thing we like about Independent Volvo Saab Jeep & Subaru is that they really value us as customers. We couldn't be happier with the repair we received.

I truly appreciate a professional auto mechanic that does not try and rip off his clients and delivers top notch customer service. Mike's team at Independent provided Outstanding service to my 2017 Jeep Wrangler and bailed me out of a scheduling problem. You can't go wrong with his company.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

If you have a Volvo, particularly an older one, you will find Mike awesome. Yes, he is honest and reasonable, but what really sets him apart is his knowledge and ability to handle cars that most garages seldom see. If you cannot afford to get the work done at really expensive Volvo dealership shops, check with Mike. He can usually keep a Volvo running without breaking your bank account. That is just what he did with a 1988 that I was ready to junk.

Mike is an expert! I needed some repairs on my 13 Outback s A/C. Really appreciated Mike s friendliness, detailed explanation, and awesome quality. Will definitely be taking my car back for any future maintenance.

Took the car to Mike with starter problems (after sitting for 4 days). While one of the repair shops I used in the past said I needed a new (and expensive) starter system, Mike checked extensively my 2.5yr old Sears battery and found it to be the issue. The problem was resolved with a new battery (at no charge as it was still under warranty). This was the first time I went to Mike and would certainly recommend him for his honesty and knowledge in addressing what could have been a very expensive problem to fix.

Mike s been looking after my car for as long as I ve had it. He s great about not only good repairs but also letting you know about stuff on the horizon which helps make sure future repairs don t come as a complete surprise.

Extremely pleased with Mike's knowledge and attention to detail. I feel secure in having him take care of my 2001 Saab, both minor and major problems. Recommended without reservations.

Mike has been servicing my Volvo for the past several years. Thorough, thoughtful, verbose. No complaints. Car is running strong even with relatively high mileage.

I have a 2007 volvo s40 and this is where I go. I won't go anywhere else. Service is honest and straight to the point. They've fixed alot of stuff on my volvo such as power steering rack, alternator belt, cv boots and engine bracket. They've also done my breaks and painted my calipers. Will definitely be back with future upgrades for my car.
