Jerry is great! My car recently had trouble starting and he was able to fit me into his busy schedule on short notice. Jerry was able to figure out that I needed a new battery and get a replacement installed within an hour, and followed up with me afterwards to make sure everything was still good with my car. You can trust Jerry/Greenlight to be honest and do a great job.

Been coming to Greenlight for years! Since Jerry had his location on Pacific Highway back in 2008. Me and my family bring all of our cars to Greenlight. The number 1 thing that is important is being able to trust your mechanic. Every time we bring our cars in, he s always able to diagnose the problem and tell us his opinion on what he thinks we should do. In top of being honest, they do GREAT work. Never have had any problems with the work he has done. Thanks guys!

My 2016 Honda is the first new car I've ever bought. I started having bad experiences at the dealer once the warranty ran out and the service manager I liked got promoted. Here I've found an honest and affordable team to trust my road health to. It relieves so much stress to deal with kind people who understand that I need to budget my services. I ve definitely found my new go-to mechanic. Nice, honest and hardworking. All three would earn a ten on a 1-10 scale. Definitely will get all of my future business, along with anyone I know looking for a mechanic. I don t do many reviews, but I HAD to take the time to do this one.

Master Honda Mechanic, Jerry has provided great care to my Honda S2000 for many years. From regular maintenance to restoring my car after being put on blocks my S2000 is running great! Awesome family business that will take great care of your Honda! Highly recommend!

Edited, below is my new review.We used to take our Acura here for all our services. I think they may have sold a couple years ago and have moved to a new location. The old owner was super honest and his prices were really good. I recently brought it in for the AC and a brake inspection. The brakes were quoted at $1,274.24. For the AC they couldn't find anything wrong with the AC and it would just cost us $241.97 to service and recharge. Since we are selling the car I decided to hold off and decide on what to do. I ended up ordering brake pads and rotors all the way around and doing it myself for $258.36. That's not the issue I had. Brakes are brakes and they have to make money. I get it. Where I have some issues is the over charge on the parts and then $608 in labor. The rear pads and rotors took me an hour and i don't have a lift and my tools are hand tools not compressor. Seems a little much to charge 4 hours of labor for it.My 2nd gripe and this is the one that's really driveling me to post this review. After doing the brakes I wanted to get the AC charged so I dropped it off at a different t shop by my work so I could walk to work while it's getting done. Shop called me after 20 min saying that the compressor was bad. Green light missed that, or didn't test it, and was perfectly happy charging me $241.97 for something that wasn't even going to fix the issue. Oh and this other shop was only $180 for the AC service and recharge.I won't be bring any of my cars back here again.

I don't know how they received anything less than five stars. Jerry and Frank are stars. I have been here a number of times and now my family goes too. I have been there a few times where they fixed the problem for free. On one occasion, I had bought a used car and there was some loose bolts I had no idea about and they fixed them when they were working on other things. Frank will tell me the best most effective way to fix a problem. For things they don't do (muffler, for example), they provide you with quality businesses to go to. They are my first choice. The most honest shop in San Diego. Jerry is the best mechanic! He is honest and knows exactly what the problem was when I took my car in. I will not go anywhere else to have my car worked in. This is by far the best mechanic in SD! I've been going to them for years and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Jerry and team genuinely care about their customers. They get the work done right and always at an honest price. I love Greenlight!

Wouldn't trust my car to any other shop. Very friendly, honest, trustworthy staff. They explain what needs to be done before they do any work and have always done great work with no problems. They always go above and beyond to help with your automotive needs. I had lights go on in the dash panel a fews times, they checked it out and fixed the problem with no charge. They truly do care about the customer and not just the money, very rare. I highly recommend Greenlight, they are awesome!

Good deals, Great service, no clunkers sold here. These guys will find want you want if it's not on the lot. Didn't feel like a sale for their commission. Oh yes, will be buying my 4th vehicle from here. If your looking for a reliable vehicle that's well priced look no further. This lot will take care of you like family, at least stop by and see what they got.

Time and time again Jerry and Frank have given us great service. Several times they probably could have gouged us on a part or service but instead showed me a cheaper way to get the fix. I went through 4 alternators each one replaced for free until they found what was causing them to go bad. Take your car here.

You know how hard it is to find a trustworthy mechanic is . When you find one, definitely want to share the last 5 plus years they have kept my car running . What I look for is communication on the problem , if they can do the job or they tell me to find someone else for a certain job . Integrity and ethical, if that's what you are looming for come here !

They have taken great care of my Acura TL for over eight years. I highly recommend the lead mechanic. I just bought a used Acura ILX and will be bringing my car to Greenlight for regular maintenance.

Honest and helpful. He didn't charge me for checking why my engine light had turned on just two days after my oil change. It was the catalytic converter, but he thought it might be a faulty signal since my car is less than ten years old. So he turned off the check engine light and told me if it turned on again, then it might be a legit issue. From the time I pulled up and drove off, I was only there for 10 minutes. So glad he provided prompt customer service and was willing to tell me the problem free of charge.

Nice honest mechanics for Honda and accuras. I have a 1992 Honda Accord with 370k + miles. My breaks were squeaking and I thought I needed new ones but they told me no. They know my car is a goer but still, how much money do you want to put into a 27 year old car? They treat me and my car right.

Really great guys, so glad I found them. They don't try to push any unnecessary work, and are completely up front about what my car needs/doesn't need/will need. Have recommended 3 friends here, and they have had great things to say as well!

Forget them!!! They gave me a list of things that was wrong with the car. They didn t pop the hood, they didn t pull a dip stick. They lifted it and checked it with a flashlight and took advantage of a female taking a car to a mechanic when they didn t know the person knew cars and quoted $7000 worth of work. Shut them down. Take it to a dealer. They don t know Acura or Honda. Zero stars is more appropriate for them.
