Very professional! They always treat me family, making sure my car is in great condition and taken care of. They don t try to upsell you like other places do. I m very happy with their service, pricing and caring attitude. I highly recommend German Auto Center !!

I can t recommend these guys enough, they re super professional and easy to work with and they do a great job. They quickly diagnosed and fixed a fuel leak in my Volkswagen Touareg and communicated clearly the whole way through. I ll definitely be going back here if I have any future issues

Pricey, but I feel the job was done right. I usually work on my own cars when I can, and the service manager was very informative about things it needed that I could do. Highly recommend.

I found Bert and his team to be honest, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. They were able to accommodate me on very short notice. I was given a detailed description of the work to be done, in advance. The breakdown of services on the invoice was very clear and payment was easily made online. The overall cost for regular service and repairs was reasonable. Now that my Porsche is out of warranty, I m glad that I ve found a local and reliable service center. Been coming here for service on my A4 for years. They do a great job. I would highly recommend the team at German Auto Center. Communication is great. Service is timely and efficient. No crazy upselling. Prices are fair.

BEST SHOP ON THE WEST COAST, Hands DOWN!I have come to this business TWICE now in dire need of service for my 2006 c280 4matic and they have identified, isolated and serviced my vehicle in a fast, efficient, timely Manner and brought my car back to life using authentic Mercedes Benz parts. This shop has given me more bang for my buck and 100% honesty and clarity of where the problem was, how they intend to remedy it and what my money was getting me. I've gotten my spark plugs, airbag light, emissions and smog test, O2 sensors, complete driveshaft replacement, and fuel pump replaced here.These guys are European car WIZARDS. I am in the Navy and have an unreasonable schedule and they still made time and space for myself and my vehicle.The customer service was 100% amazing, welcoming, family friendly environment with smiles and integrity. Id recommend this shop to anyone in the SoCal area and beyond. I will not be taking my car to anywhere else or future vehicles as long as they are around. Bert and Heather made me feel assured and safe with my car in this shops hands.

Trustworthy, reliable, honest. I ve had a good amount of work performed here over the past two years. They have been super accommodating when I ve had special needs, they always shoot it straight, and their prices are competitive for the quality. Bert and Team are the best! They take care of our VW Touareg and plug-in Mini Cooper Countryman. Had to replace the engine in the Cooper due to water damage. We did not think it would be as good as before, but it's as good as new!

This place is amazing!! Took my car in for a blown turbo and unfortunately other issues. Excellent service from start to finish, fast turn around, fair pricing. Bert their master mechanic explained every thing to me (more then once because I had a billion questions, lol) and knows his stuff!! Highly recommend!

1st time using this auto center. Was looking for some place new to service our 2000 Mercedes E55. The service representative, Bert, was extremely knowledgeable about our vehicle. Thought the ABS and brake assist malfunctions we were seeing were going to be an expensive front brake repair. It turned out just to be a bad battery. Brakes were fine. They could have easily taken advantage but didn't. Would highly recommend them.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes, Battery

I took my BMW X5 in and Bert was able to diagnose the problem immediately. He kept me informed along the way & my car has never run better! They were SO accommodating! Way better than the dealership or we ll known mechanisms who specialize in BMW s. Called to see if they could fix a older w208 a project car instead of getting a regular reply yes or no, The owner or mechanic just told me how old the car was after I told him a few times the car was a project an not a daily so unprofessional this place. I will take my money elsewhere wanted to get a lot done before I deployed very bad experience with this place.

Massive shout out to Bert and German Auto Center.I've been taking my families cars to them for year and they always delivered honest and well priced work; but my last visit was so positive, I had to write a review about it.I recently took my car in with a weird shudder that I couldn't pinpoint. A technician went on a test drive with me and couldn't diagnose it either. Bert gave me a few ideas, but didn't charge me anything. After I left, he went on some industry message boards to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. He found out that it was a fairly common issue with the transfer case of my model/year car, and that the factory knew about it and extended the warranty on it. Bert didn't stop there, he called the dealer to make sure they could diagnose it and cover it under the extended warranty.It's a few weeks later and I have a new transfer case and it didn't cost me a cent, all because Bert went above and well beyond in helping me out.I'm a customer for life.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

German Auto Repair is my only mechanic for my Mercedes Benz CLK 430. They know how to repair it, always get the job accomplished, and at a reasonable cost. I maintain this car so I do not need to repair it and they support my philosophy. Every maintenance receives a full check of all systems and components, so I know when parts are worn out and need replacement. Hands down the best mechanics in town. I actually bought another German car just so I can keep taking my car there for any repairs. Huge integrity and such a joy to deal with. These guys treat you like family! Never once have I felt like I m being lied to, and as a female who knows nothing about cars it can happen easily. They re quick to schedule appointments and get you in and out in a timely manner. Additionally, they re all very knowledgeable about what they do. My whole family now goes to them. Highly recommend German auto center!

I've never before been to a repair facility with such honest, and trustworthy owners, mechanics, drivers etc... basically everyone associated with the garage. My S550 Mercedes Benz is my baby, and the respect, expertise and care they give to it, and to me, is unparalleled. This is the ONLY place I will ever bring my cars to. They also completely stand behind all of their work. I wish every business operated with as much integrity as they do!

While I don't question their knowledge, I do question their practices. Issue1. Got a call to discuss the oils service & the service person/ shop foreman mentioned that our BMW had never had a battery registered to it.. ???? He mentioned that we have a lead acid battery , instead of an AGM.. This I'm sure was a ploy to get us to buy an AGM Battery at an inflated cost. We did not proceed & mentioned we would not need a new battery..( I've since called the BMW dealership who last handled our service,. Who confirmed that we have the correct battery & not to listen to this unsupported information.) Issue 2. When we went to pick up our car the manager was discussing what they had found when doing service.He spent time directing all information to my husband.. ( his attitude was very condersending to me a woman) .when all of a sudden he mentioned that we required another type of service. & That the light ( said condersendingly the little red triangle ) would stay on until we had this done. I asked what he meant as apart for oil service light . Nothing else was showing on our service indicators 5 mins before we left the car for an oil service..... So I would not recommend this company.. go to someone else.... Update July 2021, they have just replied to my review , this is now 23 mths ago back in AUG 2019 .. They are trying to justify unnecessary repairs.. read the whole review .Just dont use them.

I took my bmw 328 for a simple repair and found out I had other issues and they did a very good job in fixing the problems I will be taking my car In today for a issue I had and they do a great job highly recommended it.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Best car service I have used in the country, from east coast to the west. Really honest guys that know their stuff. Try to save you money and not rip you off like most other mechanics. You can trust that they will do what needs to be done and not BS you into unnecessary repairs. Highly recommend!

I called to have them check out an issue with my vehicle. My vehicle has been put on the diagnostic machine so I told him with the era was. I also mentioned I have the part ORDERED FROM MERCEDES. At that point they refused the job stating and I quote I m not going to accept a job where I only make 50 percent. So because I obtained the part FROM MERCEDES I was refused, that s the definition of scamming. Taking the maximum amount of time, tacking on money to the cost of the part. This is the consistent issue with shops nowadays GREED.

These guys charged my wife $810 .52 to change the oil & filter, spark plugs and a single coil pack while I was deployed. They charged her $114.61 for the coil pack available for less than $60 at any parts store. Those who prey on the vulnerable and naive are a special breed. Caveat Emptor
