Shout out for Jeff and Future Automotive! Jeff makes sure our 2 older cars are running smoothly. (We keep our cars til well over 200k.) Hometown service in Rancho Bernardo at VERY fair rates. I appreciate that he is very honest unlike many other shops I ve experienced. Jeff is the owner and is a VERY knowledgeable, experienced technician. He treats us like family and keeps us safe - tell him Shannon and Gary recommended him!

The owner Jeff's honesty and diligence were evident as he discovered that a water bottle was causing the airbag malfunction sensor (I had another auto shop that looked at it and told me to get the whole system fixed for over $1000) I appreciate his attention to detail and commitment to finding the root cause of the problem. I'm planning to drop off the car soon so that he can further investigate the engine shaking issue. I would recommend him for any auto repairs.

Can't possibly express how pleased I am with going to Future for our auto service. Most recently, there was a mysterious front end noise. Originally the conclusion was replacing front struts...not cheap. Turns out that Jeff noticed an obstruction with loose tail pipe. Instead of $$$'s, a replacement of the tail pipe hanger hooks fixed it up. Far far fewer dollars. My many thanks to Jeff and Future. Always going to visit his shop. Always. Would suggest that others do the same.

We are writing this message to give an honest review of a great business, Future Automotive, located conveniently in Rancho Bernardo. If anyone is looking for a place to keep your car running great or repair an issue with their car, Jeff and his staff are professional, proficient, thorough, and friendly. My wife doesn t drive many miles and we always have plenty of tread left on our tires but because of the tires age, we had our tires replaced. But the place we purchased the new tires doesn t do alignment. We called Future Automotive and set up a convenient appointment. Jeff and his equipment found that the alignment was so bad, most probably due to the potholes in our unmaintained roads. In 20 minutes, he had all four tires aligned and a printout showing before alignment and after. We are always pleased with Future Automotive and highly recommend their business. Fantastic place with integrity. I had some plans to have a friend change my brakes fall through and I thought I was going to be stuck with the pads I purchased at a parts store. No one else was willing to help me with customer supplied parts until I called Future. They said they could do it no problem. After looking at my old brakes they actually let me know that I still had around 50% and I technically didn't need them. I still had the work done, but this was the first time I'd never had the mechanic try and upcharge me or get me to pay for other work on my car. This place is a real stand-up shop and if you've had problems with other mechanics, give this place a try.Service: Brakes

Mr. Quin was truthful with his diagnostic of my 2008 Pilot. I understood what he was telling me about my car. He was professional and timely with the repair of my Honda. As a Grandmother and new widow, I now had to learn how to keep my car in good shape. My spouse had always done this. The car was not only given a good checkup , they discovered the tires were bad to the danger point. With their warning and explanation I headed immediately to buy new tires. I feel they saved me from a potential accident. They also gave me some basic information that will be useful. . This place is KEEPERS and I, like the friend who recommended it to me, highly recommend to others. Women need mechanics who are honest and that they can trust. This is such a place

I ve been going to Future Automotive for several years now, and they ve always been very helpful and accommodating even on short notice. They ve done a great job on both of my cars, which aren t easy to work on a 1999 Saturn that s hard to get parts for, and a 1996 Mercury Sable. Most recently they did a complete inspection on a car I wanted to buy. Actually I d signed the papers on Sunday, hoping they could check it out Monday morning. They were good enough to take care of it first thing Monday, with virtually no advance notice. They ve also given me rides to their garage when I didn t have a ride. Nice guys who do great work and are very honest.

Where can you go when the "check engine light!" goes on. Future Auto Repair has saved my family from the stressful occasions that breakdown or wear brings. Thankfully the owner and staff offer honest service and prices that won't break the budgets. It's great to still have an auto repair like that.

Came here based on all the positive reviews. My Subaru Outback was due for its 30K service. When I called a local Subaru dealership they said it would cost around $650! Decided to call around and compare prices. I decided on Future Automotive after speaking to Diego. He basically told me he would look at Subaru's maintenance schedule and based on their inspection they would only do the services that actually had to be done. So if the fluids looked good or the filters were still clean, they wouldn't change them. I appreciated Diego's honesty. He explained that changing fluids, or other scheduled maintenance stuff was dependent on driver use and driving conditions. That makes sense! Why pay for something that didn't need to be changed right! Future saved me a lot of money, I ended up needing an oil change and new cabin air filter and they recommended new tires and wheel alignment. So I just spent $80. They don't sell tires or do alignment so I know they weren't trying to take my money.Overall it was a good first experience. I plan to take my Subaru here from now on, as well as my wifes Toyota Sienna.If there is one drawback, they don't have much of a waiting area. There is a small front office with chairs where you can hang out. Luckily my service only took about an hour and a half. There is a McDonald's and Starbucks within walking distance with wifi as well as other shops to eat or kill time at.Thanks Future Automotive for honest and great service!

Recently had my shocks replaced. Ended up paying a little more than what Diego quoted me a few months ago (he doesn't work there anymore). Perhaps because I waited further damage was caused resulting in an increase price. At the end of the day, I went with Future because of he trust that was established when Diego worked there. He was very personal, and not transaction. Looks like the same mechanics work there, that also gives me a piece of mind.

Good service. Trustworthy. They diagnosed the problem I was having and noted it should be covered under a dealer recall. Could have done the work and charged me but instead pointed me to the dealer. Great business. Will definitely come back if/when need work done

As I see from all the other reviews, I' m not the only one who thinks HIGHLY of RB Automotive. Finding a mechanic you can trust is a hassle. After 2 minutes talking to the owner, I knew he was the type of person who believed in honest work for honest pay. I wouldn't take my car to anyone else but RB!

Was referred from a different repair place that apparently did not want to be bothered with the extensive work involved with the repairs. These guys finished the job faster than anticipated and for much less than their quote. They not only know what they're doing, they are also honest with their customers.

My family member delivered to this business. He delivered an item that was too heavy; he needed help. My family member asked for help, the owner said "you know with DACA AND ALL!...OK? Well my fam Member didnt understand the statement. it was obvious, the owner wanted my fam. Member to work for his DACA...lmbo! For your information, he is not a DACA recipient, he is in fact a us citizen,chamorro, Caucasian and MEXICAN descent, and proud of it! BUT IF HE WAS A RECIPIENT OF DACA, HE WILL BE AS PROUD AS HE IS NOW! Its heartbreaking, that you SIR have lived on this earth for many years,and ignorance is in you. To make matters worse, youre an owner of this establishment. So sad. Were not angry, but a bit confused on how you, without knowing this individual labeled him. May god open your heart and show you not to judgemental and try to be a little humbled? I don't know maybe... I'm throwing a curve ball at you, but try treating all individuals with a little respect!
