I bought new wheels for my car and brought them here to get new tires on them. Their precision and care is unmatched and they took really good care of my expensive wheels. Every individual here is extremely helpful and kind, especially Ryan who truly made my experience great. I am forsure a returning customer and will recommend this specific firestone to my friends and family.

Went in for an Alignment check. Made appointment and was confirmed for the 9 am slot. Went in around 8.45 am. Store was open. Armando received me and told me that it is a 3 hr wait as there were 2 cars ahead. I believe the appointment system is broken. A company like Firestone needs to invest in technology that is somewhat accurate especially with so many stores. But they turned around in slightly more than 2 hrs. Armando was great and their customer service is good. I will use them again.

Ryan was super helpful. We needed tire replacement and alignment for my daughter' Mini Cooper. Ryan was very easy to communicate and he works with you. He got the job done fast and efficiently. Really awesome! Thank you so much Ryan, keep up the good work!

Made an appointment a week in advance to change out the headlight bulbs. Came in and the guy at the front wants nearly $500 to change the lightbulbs. The guy starts complaining that they apparently have to remove the whole bumper to replace the lightbulbs (which I find hard to believe), and the whole time he just acts like I m bothering him by bringing them business.Then he tells me that he doesn t even think they have the right lightbulbs at their shop right now and that they might have to order some. Let me get this straight, I make an appointment a week earlier and gave them the make/model of my car, and they couldn t even bother to check if they had the right parts for the job until I already drove over here?I told him I have spare headlight bulbs they can use for my car, and dude starts aggressively lecturing me that they got sued one time for using a part a customer brought in and how they refuse to let customers bring in their own parts (like somehow it s my fault they got sued?). And of course the price they were going to charge me for the lightbulbs were 3 times the price of what the actual part costs.Everything felt off and I immediately left. My first experience with them, and probably will not be going back to them again. Everything was so uncomfortable and bizarre from start to finish with their lack of preparation, their attitude, the lack of professionalism. Definitely a bad experience.

Went in for a full set of 4 tires and an alignment. Ryan was super helpful & recommended the best tires for my car. I m very picky and he knew what I wanted. He got the job done fast and efficiently. When he wrote me up, he walked me through what he had done. The whole team there was super nice and represented the company well. The environment was clean and well taken care of. I spent the better part of my sunday going at an over torqued lug nut with a breaker bar and my impact, but was getting nowhere. Called this firestone and I told Ryan my problem, he told me to come on over and he'd have a crack at it. 10 mins later my problem was solved and I was on my way. Ryan was a real class act and wouldn't even charge me or take a tip for his inconvenience. Wholeheartedly recommend him and this location, both for knowing their way around cars and great customer service.

My family and I came in today to get my car checked and had an oil change. Everyone here was very nice, especially Ryan. He has a friendly and upbeat attitude and is Knowledgable. We also heard him talking to the staff, and he treats them with a lot of respect like he did with us. We would come back here again.

Great place for tire replacements and alignments. Staff is very friendly and will not try to saddle you with unnecessary work. Vehicle was serviced quickly and on time. Armando and Amanda were very professional and should be recognized for their outstanding customer service. Some of the best staff I've encountered since the Mira Mesa location closed several years ago.

Tire puncture that I was fairly certain could be repaired. Technician said my tread was too low even though there was only 19k miles on the tire. "Company policy" was to not repair. Associate then tried to then sell me an overpriced tire. Seemed fishy so had the car towed to Discount Tire and was told that the tire could absolutely be repaired. Better yet, they did if for free. Should have gone with Discount Tire from the get go. Do NOT recommend taking your car to Firestone. Lots of unnecessary wasted time and grief.

Same day appointment. They removed a nail from my tire. Since the wheel hadn't been punctured, they did it for free. Wow!

Went here to get an alignment. After it was finished they told me my axles were bent and gave me a quote close to a grand. Went to another place and there were no bent axels. Just needed to new front tires, alignment and a new strut. These guys are crooks if you ask me. Plus their alignment didn t do anything.

This store has its plus and minuses.Plus includes friendly staff, clean waiting room, honest staff (they don't try to hit you with unnecessary auto work).As for minuses, there are many.1. Craked/damaged all my hub caps while doing tire replacement.2. Lost the hold down bolts to the engine filter cover during courtesy check and replaced them with none compatible parts. They never informed me of it. It happened twice.3. Did not install the glove compartment cover back properly after doing a courtesy check of the cabin air filter.4. Lost my vehicle registration card while doing a courtesy check of the cabin air filter.5. Left a deep scratch on my car door while doing a tire repair. It happened when the jack handle fell onto my door. They did not inform me of this. I got a quote for the repair of the door but they refused to pay the price quoted. They paid a much reduced amount.6. Unable to balace my wheels properly. They tried their best but failed. Had to do it at another Firestone store.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Would not replace a donut size tire because it was 20 years old. Even though it was made during the recall tires that where made between 1993 and 1998. The tire was never used and if I have them replace it MY cost would be $80. The tread completely separated on one side of the tire. This was an absolute manufacturing defect. I was a customer of firestone before but NEVER again.

Been coming to this direstone for the past 3 years always had a great experience. Today Armando helped me out, friendly professional didn't try to up sell me on anything just needed a simple oil change. I requested a noon pick up if possible (didn't need it back that quick) the mechanics got it to me at the time I requested. Amazing team will go back again.

MUST READ.Rancho Bernardo Firestone really did itself a disservice, we got there early in the morning 8am were 2nd in line and bought 4 tires, were told by Store Manager. It will be ready at 2pm.Got there to pick up at 2:20pm and car hadn t been moved, to make a story short, store manager told us he was overwhelmed with work, had not been able to call us or 9 others about work not being completed along with a few more pointless excuses, when one of the mechanics came in and asked for the keys to our car, said he would do it ASAP, by that time we decided not to complete the transaction, but the store manager also wasn t in a hurry to encourage us to stay or twist our arm to help resolve the situation, what he did say was how overwhelmed he was and just couldn t complete the work, meaning to say, I don t need your business, But he wanted to make sure he got his point across about the GREAT DEAL we were leaving behind, as if that should be reason enough for the sub par service.I think we would rather take a bad deal in tire price and receive great service. We walked out of the Firestone shop knowing our money was just not valued at Firestone and losing a few hundred from us was just not important.I m not saying not to shop here, this was our experience and maybe others had good ones.All we are saying is expect days to be overwhelming for for Firestone shop and lack of workers can cause a delay or maybe not getting what you came in for at all. Want to remind you all that Firestone not only does tire service, it also does mechanical work so store manager may get overwhelmed causing some business to be lost. That business might be you.I think next time we ll go to a tire only shop maybe the few hundred dollars we spend there will be appreciated. RB Firestone if you are overwhelmed with work it s ok to let customers know to come back another day. Communication will go long way.Please note that Firestone Poway/Penasquitos are not part of this review. Give them a try might get a better experience. Do NOT Use this Firestone location. Call ahead to see if they can help with my van not starting, they said no problem we can help after all its said complete auto care. Tow my van there told them the battery is not issue, took them 4 hours to tell me the battery is not the problem charge me for just to tell me what I have told them . They can't help I have to take to another shop. Now its will cost me additional to tow my van. Bad experience. Not going back if I can Help it. Not recommend. Picked up a nail today on my way to take my 2 year old son to urgent care and I pull into firestone and this short Hispanic guy (manager) I think his name is Jude, looks at my tire after I asked for it to be plugged and he said nope I cant help you you're going to have to replace the tire because there are bubbles on the side of the tire and so I asked him to show me where the bubbles were and he throws his hands up and yells out I make 150k a year I'm not doing a tire plug you need to replace it. I couldn't help but laugh - I think my car made him insecure. I went down the street to RB tire and brake and they plugged my tire for 5 dollars I gave the guy a 20 and we were both happy. From now on I'm only supporting small businesses.Service: Tires

I had what I thought was an auto potential emergency on Superbowl Sunday. It was difficult to find anyone who could help me. I called the Firestone on Black Mountain Road and they were rude and unhelpful. This Firestone listened to what was happening to my car and were able to fit me in. Turns out it was a sensor issue but as a single mom who commutes the thought of my breaks not working scared me. I appreciate the professionalism of the people who work at the RB Firestone.

Absolute professionalism and courtesy. Staff is friendly and polite. It's hard to find integrity, but this place has it! Came in for an alignment and after completion, had a conversation with the mechanic and thought we were done. Went out to leave and found the mechanic looking under my car. Based on our conversation he thought the tech manual may have been wrong about the alignment and wanted to re-check. Asked if he could put the car back on the alignment rack and ended up re-doing the alignment. Apologized to me for missing it the fist time around. If you're looking for an honest mechanic willing to do it right, this is the place. Will definitely be retuning and recommending their service to others. Thank you for treating my right!

Brought my car in for a potentially bad alternator. The manager Jude was solid and referred me to a specialist to ultimately save me money.Very professional, patient, and detailed. Good guy, good place, been going there for years now.

I love that the timeline of service completion was done in order to pick my son up from school on time. I got my brakes done and they are still squeaky so I'll have to follow up when I have time since I just got my car back today. I felt the prices were too high for the services that I need and will need. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and professional. I was greeted along with everyone who came in after me to be checked in/out. I love that they give you time and still acknowledge other customers. Zach was great he educated me very well as I don't know anything about cars. If there are coupons and discounts I'll be sure to return for regular maintenance and repairs.

Made an appointment for an oil change, rotation and alignment at 1pm. Went in, Jude helped me. He was great!! He told me they were busy & it will take about 2-2 & 1/2 hours. I was ok with that since I did see how busy they were. He got me in less than an hour. Explained what they did & what was found about my car they were so great!!!

I brought my car in to have tires rotated and aligned and have an oil change. While they were doing the tire work they noticed by front brakes needed to be done. They got all the work done by 1 pm so I could drive my husband to the airport. The technician Zack was super friendly, did a great job explaining everything and got my car done on time. This is my second time at this location. They are always friendly, helpful, honest and prices are fair. I highly recommend them.

Reggie and Vince saved me big time, I had flat tire the night prior and had work early morning and was sweating on how to commute since it's hard to drive far and fast in spare tire. They took me in early morning and helped me with repair timely, I cannot thank them enough. Thank you both so much!!!

My tire pressure was low. I stopped in here even though I didn't buy my tires there to see if they could help me. The staff was super friendly. Rainer filled up my tires and even showed me where to find the information on how full they should be, and gave me one new valve cover because it was missing. All that for $0. So generous, thank you! Great service :)
