Very disappointed. I came in early morning to have them install my brand new tire onto a loose wheel that s off of my car. I brought in the wheel loose to save time and have less workload on the techs since I know how it is since I m an ASE mechanic out of Texas. I waited for 1.5 hours Understandable since it was busy. I m very understanding. I brought in another loose wheel @1:45 PM to get my brand new tire installed that afternoon. I was told by Mark that it should only take 30 minutes since the workload was slower. After 2 hours of waiting, it is currently 3:45 PM. My wheel was never touched. I m a very understanding and lenient person. Takes a lot out of me to write a negative review since I m not that kind of person. After the first hour, I gave the business one last chance. Once the second hour hit, I grabbed my wheel and tire and left the premise. Definitely a fair ultimatum. I can t speak on the maintenance and service aspect of the business which seems great, but I can definitely speak on the tire service aspect, not great. Was excited to find a business that was going to serve me as a long term tire installation establishment since I have a Texas racing background, but was met with disappointment. Mark did approach my car as I was leaving and was understanding of my situation and assured me that it won t happen again. Props to him, definitely a great employee. Hence the extra star. I ll come back again in the future for a second chance.

Jesse and his team went above and beyond my expectations. They were accommodating, quick, and very communicative through the entire process. Got a tire replaced, brake pads replaced, etc. They did this all last minute within 2 hours. Jesse and Evan s tire shop exceeded my expectations. Will be taking my car here from now on. They give you a breakdown of every single price in a PDF that shows what they assessed. Truly, one of the most professional tire shops I ve ever dealt with.

Was hoping to get a tire repaired but they discovered a large nail had destroyed my tire, so I had to buy new ones. Wasn't in stock, but they quickly got some at the warehouse and gave me a good deal. Service was exceptional and Mark was very good explaining what needed to be done. Also got an alignment. A received great service at a good price. I will be going there again.

Got a nail in my tire and dropped in to get it repaired. Mark greeted me immediately in the parking lot and started the process of my tire repair right away. He was super friendly and even had the tire fixed free of charge since it was my first time there. The techs fixed my flat tire, checked pressure on all tires, and got me out of there super quickly. Great experience and I'll definitely go back again.

I had an exceptional experience at Evans Tire, and Mark deserves all the praise! His performance customer service was beyond amazing, not only offered the best price for brake repairs but also ensured a swift resolution. In record time, they fixed everything, and I'm back on the road with a huge smile. Thanks, Mark, and the awesome team at Evans Tire! You guys rock! 10/10

Today we went and had new tires put on our Car. Mike Anderson took care of us. He was nice & understanding. He let me know what work I need to have done soon & understood that I couldn t today. Our family had been Evan customers for years but this time was different. I felt Really good cared about. Thank you Mike

Got new Tires, Alignment, and some fluids flushed, little timely however the guys up front are awesome and incredibly personable. Can tell they value customer service and the mechanics/technicians seemed like they re on it and moving fast. Good experience, and I m definitely going back.

Excellent friendly service. As a woman it can be intimidating to go into an auto shop alone as I ve been taken as advantage for not knowing much about cars but this location was very friendly and to the point. Walk in was welcome and I paid $30 flat fee for a patch on my tires from a nail with a 1 year guarantee. Will be coming back!

Excellent customer service. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Jeff. I let him know that my tire pressure was not appearing on my dashboard. He asked me to bring it in. They took care of me, and now my tire pressure system is showing on the dash. I will recommend Evan's Tire for the future good staff

Even s Tire was a very pleasant experience. From ordering my tires to having them installed. My service advisor was very knowledgeable as well as friendly. I owned my own shop for years and know good service. I would recommend Even s tire all my friends!!

I recently had an encounter at Evans Tire on Convoy Street that left me feeling uneasy and compelled to share my insights. There seemed to be a noticeable shift in their approach, veering towards persuasive tactics that suggested services and products beyond what seemed necessary. On one occasion, I was explicitly recommended to delay my visit due to the absence of a more experienced mechanic, a suggestion that came directly from Mike. This struck me as undermining my confidence in their team's overall capability.Additionally, the pricing structure appeared markedly inflated. When expressing my knowledge of automotive care or questioning the necessity of recommended work, the response was unexpectedly dismissive and, at times, outright rude. This is a stark contrast to my previous experiences, having entrusted them with my vehicle's care over the years, amounting to significant expenditure on my part.Regrettably, it appears that the ethos of the establishment has evolved. Where once I felt assured of their integrity and commitment to genuine service, there now seems to be a pivot towards exploiting the lack of automotive understanding among their clientele, aggressively upselling and capitalizing on the trust of unwary customers. This transformation is deeply disheartening, particularly given my long-standing relationship with them. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for automotive services, to avoid potential disappointment and unnecessary expenditure.

Great team! When I first walked in this morning, I was greeted by Chris nice smile. Chris was so welcoming and very helpful. I am not sure of the repairman name that work on my car, but he was super fast, and he cleaned my rims (wow) excellent work! Before I left, it was a small glitch and several mechanics came to assist, which turned out to be nothing. Jesus was so kind and explained what it was, he was so nice it was like talking to a friend. It is so refreshing to experience great customer service and great work! I appreciate Evans Tire!

2.5 hours for an oil change is ridiculous. I dropped off the car at my scheduled time and the car wasn't even on the jacks until 2 hours later, the actual work only took like 30 minutes.What is the point of even having an appointment time if they don't even value your time.

Two days after getting an oil change, the car started acting funny. Pulled the error code and it said the second cylinder was misfiring. Handed them the paper that said this. They looked at things and said that we needed new coils, spark plugs, and a battery. Insisted that this step had to be done first before checking the cylinder. $1900 later, the car still wasn't running right and we had to take it to a dealership. Turns out it's an engine compression issue that requires a brand new engine that costs more than the car's worth. They couldn't test for this?? So we got bilked out of $1900. Can't trust anyone.

I got a flat tire in the parking garage at work, and needed a quick tire fix after work to be able to drive home, and they were all so helpful in fitting me into the busy afternoon and getting me a new tire with a great deal. Amazing people and clean waiting room!! Great experience I appreciate them so much.

Friendly service, good pricing, and (what appears to be) quality work. Only negative is that they seem to have an unrealistically optimistic perception of how long a service will take, so take whatever wait time you're initially quoted with a hefty grain of salt. Remember to check their website for coupons!

The sales people and technicians were very courteous and gave prompt service accurate quote no hidden charges or fees... Highly recommend not only Evans tire but also this location. It's not my first time working with Evans, and I've never had a negative experience

Great price on oil change, service staff excellent loved they include new oil filter. Also inspected tires, which I also need. Price on 4 tires has Discount beat by 50, that's a lot. Thank you for all. I've also had other repairs at this location. Thank you for great service at a reasonable cost.

I was introduced to Mr. Jesse Sanchez & Evans Tires by a mutual friend.Mr. Sanchez provided me with quotes on several tire recommendations that best suited my car, a 2020Toyota RAV4.I selected the best tire for my needs and they were installed within a couple hours of calling him up, along with a wheel alignment.I m happy with the service & professionalism of the shop.I will recommend Mr. Sanchez & Evans Tires in Kerny Mesa to anyone needing tire or mechanical service.ThanksJoeC

I initially went in to get some new tires. I was told about a few other repairs needed and was we talked through the process and they tried to make sure ally questions and concerns were answered. I swear, every time I go to Evans Tire I've received great service.

Scheduled a tire repair appt online on the day of my visit (12/27/23) before store opening and never got a call or email back so around 8am, I went there in person and the person at the front said they don't do appts for tire repair so keep that in mind. I asked that I needed to repair my tire due to a leak and they did not ask me any specific questions which would of saved me 2+ hours of my day since they did not even take the car into the shop. They instead took a quick look without even trying to inspect anything and marked my tire showing what the issue was which was clearly quite obvious to the average person. I believe there was also some damage done to my tire as it was way more flat than before and I immediately was losing air pressure way faster than before as well. Overall, I would not recommend their service as they clearly did not do anything and made me wait 2 hours when they could of just looked at it for 1 minute and told me sidewall tire damage are not repairable. I went to Discount Tires down the street and was able to get a replacement with no issues. Highly recommend them over Evans Tires.

I brought my car in to get the breaks fixed. They showed me a few other issues and I decided to get them fixed as well. It was nice to be able to see what they were talking about with the tires off. They gave me a discount for doing all of the work at once, as well as a ride to/from my house.

Dropped my car off for an oil change. I was called and told I needed rear shocks on my 5 year old car. I agreed. When I returned I was shown the shocks. There was a little bit of dampness near the "slide" section of one of the shocks. I did some research afterward and found out this is called "weeping" and is normal. I threw away over $500.At this same place I previously had some work done and was charged $1200. I later found two places that would do the same job for $700.Moral of the story is, get a second opinion.

I was told over the phone it'd take half an hour, and I didn't get my car seen until 2 and half hours into being there. Only giving two stars for having the tire I needed in stock the day of asking about it and their call center worker being honest about what my car might've needed.
