Louie is a really humble man, took my sister in law alternator to be repaired and it turned out it was in good shape and her battery was no longer functioning correctly.Louie got us a basically new battery replacement for half the cost!He could have easily made a quick buck and sold us both but didn t! He a really humble guy and you don t come across people like that often especially from shops or mechanics.5 star all day!

Louie is the man! Replaced my alternator in less then 3 hours and for half the price that a different mechanic quoted. He was also worried my battery was shot and that I may need to replace it. But after I drove the car for a couple of days with no issues, I called him to see if I should replace it anyways. Instead of just telling me yes, like some people would do, he said the battery was fine since the car wasn t having any problems. Very good and honest man. Highly recommend.

Louis was very nice on the phone i never felt rushed only welcome. I told him my alternator problems and he said he could go ahead and fix it for me for a very reasonable price. Less than half of what a new one would cost at an autozone. when i got there he had a rebuilt one ready for me to pick up. at a much cheaper price than anything new. i highly recommend his business

This place is a gem. Louis seems so nice, knowledgeable and professional. He replaced the alternator and battery in my car, he actually did the installation as well after i had my car towed there. The alternator is not easily accessed in my car so he was a lifesaver. All told, he charged me a little less than BIG AUTO PARTS STORE ON EVERY CORNER quoted me for just the alternator alone. He was fast, personable, went out of his way to deal w my car's quirks. You can tell from the sign alone the business has been there forever. I am a customer for life (wait, do electric cars need alternators? Let me amend that to say I am a customer for life or until alternators are obsolete, whichever comes first).FWIW: He closes M-F from 3-4 to pick his kids up from school. That's pretty amazing in my book. Wish I found him sooner but so glad I found him now.

I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and after full diagnosis it was determined my starter had failed after 202k miles. Today it s Sunday and all the big chain stores wanted $200 for a rebuilt starter with a 1 year warranty. There is no way this should cost $200 ever. I called here and it was less than half that WITH a 2 year warranty!! Swapped it out, starts up every time. Louie was great! Thank you!

Louie took care of me and gave me a rebuilt working alternator after my cheap online alternator went bad after 3 months. I wish I would have came to this place sooner. I will definitely be recommending you to family, friends and whoever ask me if I know anyone who works on alternators, starters or needs a battery. Thank you again

Went here yesterday after buying a reconditioned battery at a place on Broadway that didn't even last a month. Found Louies place on FB and I went there, and got a NEW battery for half the price Autozone wanted. Thank you Louie!!

Louie really came through for me. Things have been rough lately, including the day I was having. I expected my luck to be no different in calling another shop, the last shop actually, for the day. The others legit exhausted me. I've heard of this place a number of times and I'm glad I called. In fact, "I'm glad" is an understatement. Should have called first. I feel like that was a world record in Alternator rebuilds! Haha. They're fast, knowledgeable, respectful, affordable. They're everything any and every shop SHOULD be. They just got another life long customer in me, that's for sure. All my recommendations too. Thanks for definitely making my day better, Louie!

Great service. Did exactly what they said for the price they said. Price was very competitive. Mini Coopers are difficult to work on. They did an excellent job. Definitely would recommend.

I've had my alternator fixed at Discount Battery and Auto Electric a couple of years ago and remembered having a great experience. When my car wouldn't start the other day, I immediately tough of this place. When I called, they even helped me out with finding a good towing company. In just a few hours my car was fixed, and for a fair price. I've already recommended them to my boss and a couple of friends. Louis' service is impeccable, and you can definitely trust him 100%.

What can I say? My dad was having battery issues, this man not only identifies the issue but because it was a simple fix ($6 as opposed to $68) he never upsold us and his advice as spot on. These guys are great at their job, so their work pays for itself.

I had a bad experience with Discount Battery and Auto. 3 months ago I had my Honda alternator replaced and it went bad 3 days later. Loue is the owner and said he would fix it, but charged me labor again. George the mechanic explained that the reason he charged is because he s doing the labor, not the owner of the place, Loue. When my Alternator went out again, my husband just said to tow it to a shop that s licensed through the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Happily, I haven t had any issues with the alternator after this licensed mechanic replaced it. I should have known better when there was no certifications in his office and he is not recognized by the BBB.I would never recommend this to anybody.

Alternator went out on our Toyota and we called to get a price. Not only was the price $200 cheaper than all the other places, they stayed past closing to give us time to get there! They checked the alternator we brought in to make sure that we did, in fact, need to replace it. Super friendly and accommodating! Thank you so much!!!

In this establishment there are two businesses one is new and used car batteries. and the other a mechanical workshop for electric cars. Today I went to buy a battery for my car. The prices are good and the attention very friendly.

These guys know their trade. I have brought a few alternators here to be rebuilt and I have been pleased everytime. I had an issue with my battery light coming on in my mustang 2 years after he rebuilt my alternator and even though it was out of his warranty time, he stood behind his work and had me out of their with a fresh rebuild in no time at no cost to me. Don't buy a cheap aftermarket alternator when you can get a factory quality rebuild here. Thank you!

I'm very glad I found these guys !! I had to replace an alternator in my 2005 Nissan maxima and a mobile mechanic quoted 300 just for an alternator , they got or repaired the alternator and put it in for a little over that much!. Very happy with the work and the 2 ye warranty plus they were done the same day. Great job I highly recommend Discount Battery and Auto Electric.

I bought a used battery and it was bad when I bought it and when I tryed to reach out to the guy that sold it to me no awnser I stood in front of his business for an hour and he never showed up also I feel like I got taken for 65 for the battery I have to buy a new battery and it's now a lot of money I had to pay it's sad how a company could do this to a customer

The best prices and service anywhere!!! They saved me over $110 on a battery, and almost $1000 installing an alternator!!! I was quoted almost $1200 to replace the alternator on my Cadillac elsewhere. Discount Battery did it for $245 total!!! I will never go anywhere else! Very honest and friendly.

The reason I called him, "Luis" for my mom's car is simple. Fair price, good service, and integrity. My car had a minor issue after I left. Luis made it simple and painless to remedy.the issue. This is a recommendation!

Called 1 hour before they closed to see if they could fix an alternator that was bad, he said come on over I ll have it done before we close. Came in gave him the part 30 min later alternator worked perfectly! Would recommend! Instead of buying new one from auto parts store

Before dropping some dough on a new alternator, generator or anything related, drop by this shop. Louie will give you a great price for a refurbished or rebuilt motor part that he guarantees will work up to specs. I got my 2007 Yamaha R1 stator motor repaired here and am deeply satisfied with it. Don't judge the book by its cover and talk to the man Louie at Discount Auto Electric.

Louie is an honest man. AutoZone said alternator was bad and he tested it and it was right where it needed to be. Definitely refer his business to anyone who need electric work on their vehicle.

Louie was great - He quoted me $90 for a rebuilt alternator (which is running great) and even briefly showed me how to replace the alternator on site, no charge! Wonderful experience.

Went in on a Sunday to get my boat starter repaired and he got it done and ready to go within half an hour. Great fast service and it works great thanks again louie. I highly recommend this place to anybody who needs this type of service done.

Best mechanic place been going there for many years.. Jorge is a good mechanic and its honest about what your car has never have I complain about what he has worked on my car he stands behind his work and if something you feel not that satisfied or concern I have brought my car bk and he will inspected again and no extra charge.. I strongly recommend bringing your car here with Jorge..
