Great place to buy a car! Audrey is warm, friendly and super helpful! It took less than 30 minutes to get me approved with financing. I like that she s respectful of my choices and not pushy. I was given reassurance that if I encounter any issue with my purchase to contact them, I felt that they care about their customers! I had a great experience and I told her I will come back to purchase my next car with them! Being new in SD, she also gave me great places to go and visit, she s so awesome! Thank you Del Mar Motors!

Buying a used car is an unsettling experience! Del Mar Motors was an exception! The team Audrey, Rob and Ayal were extraordinarily professional and comforting. Very down to earth, honest and reassuring to my needs! I was not pressured at all and they have already proven that they have my back even after purchasing the car! I would highly recommend trusting this team who goes the extra mile fulfilling their number one priority to see their customers satisfied and happy! They truly all warmed my heart and I formed a bonded friendship.

Bought my first car through Del Mar motor cars back in December and I'm so happy I did! I was unsure where to go for my first car purchase so I looked at dealers from LA to SD. I found Del Mar Motor Cars to have a great reputation in their customer reviews and the most competitive prices so I decided to check them out. Both Audrey and Rob were extremely helpful and offered great advice. I decided on a 2016 Jetta and have been very pleased with the purchase and their customer service. I've had no issues with the vehicle and they've been quick to answer any of my questions. I'll definitely be going back for future car purchases!

I didn't want a car that was too expensive, but also wanted something well made and safe. A friend told me about Del Mar Motor Cars, so I checked it out. I looked at their website, and they had a few cars in our price range.When I arrived, I was surprised. First off, their showroom is very welcoming, and not like the sterile places or car lots that many of these businesses have. They have some cool cars on display too.One of the owners asked if I was looking for anything special, and I explained that I had seen some cars on the website, and was interested in checking them out. Turns out this is Rob, and his daughter Audrey works there too. I met the other owner, Ayal, who was pretty chill. They showed me the cars, but I didn't put any pressure on me to buy. They said to take a look around, and when I'm ready to buy they will be there for me. Really nice folks.Anyways, after a few days of deliberation, I ended up getting a really nice Jetta from them, really clean inside, and under 20,000 miles. Rob said that their mechanics had carefully gone over the entire vehicle to ensure that it would run great. My daughter has been driving the car for a few weeks, and says there are no problems, and it drives great!The folks there made getting this car a breeze, and I will not hesitate to return the next time I need a vehicle.

We came here to help find my husbands' grandparents a reliable van after their truck was having trouble. The guys here were so helpful and straight forward about their cars. Absolutely no time wasted. They were even willing to help us out with replacing the front tires! We recommend them to anyone who wants a good quality used car!

If you are buying a used car that is fantastic, go to Del Mar Motor Cars! I have never been to a used car agency that is so nice and with such great deals!!! I found an ad on line for a car that I was looking for and went up to Del Mar and these guys were the best! They showed me the various cars that fit my needs and left me alone to go through them without trying to sell me one! I had plenty of questions about the cars and they answered without sugar coating each answer. I am usually not very happy with used car dealers but these guys are very truthful and are very respectful. They went way out of their way to make my visit a happy one! I will surely go back there and get my next car! BEST CAR DEALER I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! Go there and see for yourself!

My husband and I bought our 2014 Toyota Prius II from Del Mar. We live in TX and purchased this vehicle out of state. It was delivered to us this weekend and we are very pleased! We never even saw the car before purchasing, but our contact at Del Mar, Audrey, was extremely helpful and provided 100% transparency with us about the car from beginning to end. I really appreciate this because the process was stressful enough without having to second-guess everything about the car. They even went the extra mile and had the car delivered to an independent car mechanic of our choosing in CA for a pre-buy inspection! We very much appreciate the excellent customer service Audrey provided us and the great deal we got on our Prius. Would highly recommend!

We purchased a "new to us" 2014 Prius from Rob last month. My husband has a long daily commute and our old Saturn is nearing its last legs, so we'd been on the look out for a hybrid for about six months - we were just waiting for one that was the right age, mileage, and in the right price range. When our new car popped up on a search the day before we went to the dealership, we knew we couldn't expect a better price - and it was a color we liked, to boot. We were extra thrilled when we arrived the next morning and realized we'd be supporting a small, local business and not just a corporate lot. The entire process was smooth and painless; we took the car for a short spin in the neighborhood (yup, it drives like a Prius!) and sat down to fill out the paperwork, and didn't even try to haggle. Good thing, too - someone arrived as we were finishing who wanted to buy the same car! It was our first time ever buying a car from a dealer (not just "buying" from family members) and Rob was very patient with us and our inexperience. We left the lot just a bit over an hour after arriving, and came back the next day to drop off our down payment (exhibit A of my naivete: I forgot to bring a checkbook) and have the old windshield wipers replaced, which they were kind enough to do for us. It's been a bit under a month and we're very happy with our purchase and pleased to be new car owners. Big thank you to Rob and his team for making it as easy as possible.

Audrey has to be the most phenomenal saleswoman I have ever worked with. Such a welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff and an overall friendly place to be. I bought my first car here, and there was no pressure at all. 100% would recommend!!!

I haven't had a lot of luck with smaller dealerships, and was hesitant about visiting this one at first. I'm glad I decided to buy my car from them! When I walked up, I was greeted, but at no point during my visit did I feel pressured. I already knew what I wanted, and the whole team was a great help in getting me there with no hassle! I would absolutely go through them again for another vehicle purchase when the time comes!

I've purchased many cars over the past 25 years new and used. The past few cars have been used and my go-to is DMMC. I first came to DMMC in 2012. The entire team from the owners Rob and Ayal to Audrey in the office are attentive, honest, and have been great at finding just the right car I'm looking for. The transaction have been quick and easy - better than most of the new dealers I've used. They have stood behind my purchases and have also helped out several friends and family to whom I've referred. I don't take my business relationships for granted and this is one I know will continue for many more years. I recommend them to anyone in the market for a used car.

Incredible service from the first phone call to the moment I turned the keys in my new car and drove off. As someone who spent days dealing with overly complicated, sleezy corporate car dealerships, the service present by Rob and his daughter at Del Mar Motor Cars was an amazing breath of fresh air. One would expect the prices of the cars to also be higher, given the better service quality, but I got a better price on a better model from Rob then a massive dealership could give me. If you are looking for a car, give this place a chance. I promise it beats the guys who are spamming your voicemail at 10pm on a Saturday night to see if you're still interested in a car you glanced at online 3 weeks ago.

We bought a 2014 Scion XD for my niece. We could not have gotten a better car if its not for the knowledge and advise we received from the staff. The price was excellent and I knew it, because we compared prices all over San Diego. The owner, Ayal Abed was the person that took care of us, we purchased knowing we got a great car! I highly recommend this dealership. Next time I need a car, I will definitely return to Del Mar Motor Cars!

Im a first timer buyer of a car from a dealership and I was not disappointed. He let me take the car for a test drive by myself and I knew it was the car for me! Rob was understanding and worked with me on the date to pay him the down payment. His staff took care of the car and threw in floor mats as well! I very highly recommend Del Mar Motor Cars to anyone looking for a slick, reliable, vehicle to own for a very long time!

The professionalism and experience I had at this place way far superior to any other experience I have had buying a car. The team of Ayal and Audrey were FANTASTIC. They helped me get my car and they helped with getting a good financing rate. I highly recommend anyone to go to this dealership!

Audrey was amazing, this place had no sales people following you, no pressure sales techniques. It was a lovely experience buying a vehicle from them. When we brought the car back because the air conditioner sounded funny, they replaced the entire system for free! I will always come back here to buy a car.

I normally do not write reviews, but I really don't appreciate being misled.My wife and I paid visit to Del Mar Motor Cars and were excited because the people and the place were so nice and welcoming. We test drove a 2016 Lexus Hybrid Wagon and the paperwork inside the vehicle stated that there was no accident history. However, when we pulled the Experian vehicle history report ($20 - well worth it) we found that there was an accident last year and it stated "severe damage" "structural work" and "mechanical work." So of course we have decided against this purchase. The reason I am writing this review is because I was told by Audrey that they there was no accident history and that the Experian report was a "glitch," which is clearly inaccurate information. Yes, the car is priced well under value - but considering the misleading paperwork and staff response I would recommend doing extensive research prior to any purchase from this location.

The team at Del Mar Motor Cars is amazing, I ve never been to a dealership like it. No pressure at all, they really just want to find you a car that you are happy with. I ll definitely be coming back to Rob next tine I am in the market for a vehicle!

First time buying at a dealership, and it was a great experience. I test drove the car I was looking at, then saw another I test drove. Plus, tthere was no hard sell whatsoever. Usually when I read that in a review, it's the opposite. There was zero pressure. I was also allowed to take the car to be inspected by my mechanic, and they were flexible with payment.

I bought a used car here and the engine blew up on me through normal driving two months after I drove it off. Fortunately for them their 'warranty' only lasted a month. They offered no help even though they knew they sold me a 'lemon' car, they took no responsibility. It cost me almost as much as I paid for the car to repair it! I had to buy an entire new engine. These guys get their cars from auctions or dump off cars from legitimate dealerships, their cars have no history or maintenance records. You're much better off paying a bit more at a reputable dealership or buying privately when you know the maintenance has been properly done. These guys will sell any car that will have create a good test drive, even if they're a ticking time bomb.

After searching around for a car, I ran across one i was interested in located at this dealership. I couldn't be happier with my selection. It's not the car that caused me to leave this review, it's the continuing service and help that they have provided since the purchase almost a year ago. Audrey was the rep that I delt with when purchasing the car and she's put up with my incessant questions since the initial purchase. Everytime I've had an issue, I call her first and she points me in the right direction or puts me in contact with whoever can while being friendly and professional about it. I can't recommend this place enough.

Bought a Honda CRZ 2014...car was in great shape. The bank told me I over paid for the value of the car. Next time I will not budge on my negotiating and leave until the lower the price. I was in a pinch and needed a vechile asap. Overall experience was good. Great car.

What an amazing dealership! It is super laid back and you feel really relaxed the moment you walk in. They don't hassle you and follow you around. Audrey made the process so easy. I asked for coffee and they didn't have any so someone went on a Starbucks run. My husband loves asking a million questions and Audrey was so awesome and answered all of them (some of them even twice) If you are in the market for a car I highly recommend this place!

Bought my car from them 2 years ago and it was a great experience. No gimmicks and complete honesty, they don't do any markups or bait and switch. I was at the dealership for a short time which was convenient. I definitely reccomend them.

Very accommodating from the start. No pressure at all. They gave me the keys to test drive, no time limit, and printed out the carfax. Prices were very competitive and I mean, they beat everyone else's. Very enjoyable buying experience. I highly recommend this team!

I had bought a car from there in December 2016. They have a friendly staff but their inventory is not so great. I had bought a 2006 Scion tC the check engine light came on 4 days later, went to the dealership and they said it was emission leaking and thats usually due to a loose gas cap, they cleared the light and I was on my way home. A week later the check engine light came on again. I had tried to contact them but I had received no answer. That night when driving, the wheel had locked up and the suspension went out causing a totaled car. When I tried to contact them again about the warranty they did not reply. Nice staff but the customer service isn't so great when trying to contact them.

Bought a used 2017 Civic here. Later found out that it had been damaged but repairs were probably done off the books. I think the dealership knew and that is why the vehicle was discounted so heavily. Also, when I picked up the car the tires might have been switched because I had to replace all four within a year or two even though the vehicle had low miles.

Great experience buying a Toyota Prius here... the car was very clean and the staff was very helpful and patient. We paid a fair price and are very satisfied with our purchase. All of the cars had brochures with their Carfax reports.

This place is great. They are direct, to the point and deliver on what they say. My 2017 Sportage I just picked up from them. Is amazing and got the best price and warranty in San Diego. I will recommend family and friends to Delmar Motors. Thank you guys for quality service. I feel like family now....
