I didn t ultimately end up buying a car here, but wanted to send a shout-out to Chad who was extremely kind and personable, and gave great service. He showed me the first car I viewed on my search, and it didn t quite have all the features I was looking for, so I went with a different option, however I appreciated his simple, straight to the point approach. After bracing for a fast talking high pressure sales pitch, it s always refreshing to encounter someone real in the car biz. Highly recommend going to see them if you re in the market for a reasonably priced used vehicle in the San Diego area!

I had a great experience buying a Honda CRV. Cassandra was excellent and made the whole process smooth. The communication was great and I was treated fairly during the whole process. Bought a car not too long ago and four months after purchase it broke down. I got told that I needed a complete engine replacement which they were trying to charge me $9000 for when Hyundai offers free engine replacements if the warranty is still active. Thank God I brought it over to Hyundai of Kearny Mesa and was able to get an engine replacement completely free!!! I feel like I was sold a lemon and then tried to be taken advantage of. I feel like somebody over there should ve known about that offer that comes with Hyundai vehicles not to mention my most recent experience getting an oil change there was horrible.

I came here a few weeks ago shopping for a new car. Tony helped me out and was absolutely phenomenal during the entire process. He helped me find a car that fits my needs and made the entire buying process SO easy. He was kind and professional, and had great insight. I traded in my Toyota Highlander and am so happy I did because I love my new CRV so much. This dealership is also so clean and everyone here is so nice. Would recommend to all my friends and family.

This was the best dealership service center experience I've had! Kai was great, and super helpful throughout the process. He ordered me a Lyft to/from my house, since my car needed to stay overnight, and my car was done much more quickly than he thought may need to happen. They did not try to trick me into paying for services I didn't need, but instead found an extended warranty that covered the work that needed to be done. I would not hesitate to go to DCH Honda of Mission Valley again.

We went through CostCo Auto Sales and were referred to RYAN KINKEL at DCH Honda of Mission Valley. Matter of fact and no pushy, uncomfortable sales pitches. Ryan made sure this grandmother was comfortable with all the bells, whistles and alarms on her brand new 2024 Honda Pilot Touring before I drove it off the lot trading in my 2007 Honda Pilot EX-L. I absolutely love my new car. Ryan came to my rescue after hours over the phone a week later when the car alarm system was activated. My previous Honda was always serviced at DCH Honda of Mission Valley where it was purchased.

If I could leave a negative review I would!! My second time having my vehicle serviced and this was yet another horrible experience.1) I was given a free oil change and tire rotation due to a problem with the first time I took my vehicle for an oil change. What was the issue you may ask? Well they had all the wrong information on my vehicle and contact the wrong person to get the vehicle. I was questioned whether or not this was my vehicle( which I understand because of the wrong information) , but the manner and how I told them exactly what was in my car they still didn t believe me. I showed my insurance card on my phone and registration which was in my car like I told them.2)Now to yesterday s service on 1/12/24. I should up the advisor asked what I came in for which was all fine, but after I told them I had a free oil change and tire rotation he told me no I didn t. Which I know I did because I was called the day before to confirm my appointment. I wanted my spark plugs done as well, but he said it was needed after 100k miles. That was nice of him to tell me and we took the replacement out of the list. Well then he told me in an unprofessional way, I m curious why were you adding that to your service didn t you think that was free too? Seriously! No need for that smart response which I already knew I would pay for that. Didn t know I would be looked down on for mistakes they made the first time.3) I was told my tread level on my brand new tires which I purchased 9/30/23 where at a low thread level and a nail is damaging my left rear tire. I took it to American tires since I had their insurance when I purchased the tires and the 4 tires were inspected and tested. No screw or problems were the result. So aside from the horrible experience I was lied to.To anyone looking for their car service please beware. I was in the market for a new car also, but I will now take my business elsewhere.

Until there is some kind of real resolution my review will stand. I have not had the car long, (less than two weeks) and it already has had a number of issues, even though I was told it went through an inspection. I keep being told to bring it back and they will 'make it right', but fear something else will go wrong, and I am sort of tired of having to keep bringing it back. The only plus is the service department has given me free rides to and from work, but there never seems to be a loaner car available. I was told they aren't allowed to work on multiple issues at once? So basically have to make separate appts for issues I already made known. I am being told, well it still has some warranty left, as if that is a plus for having to keep coming back and forth, and having no peace of mind. It is unfortunate as a parent to be going through this when a vehicle is instrumental to my day to day both personal and business. I am not made of money, this car is all I have at this point to get me where I need to go, and it keeps having new issues. It is pretty unfortunate it was sold this way

I purchased a vehicle from DCH on 3/19/23 and unknowingly had my credit pulled 3 different times, which I did not authorize. I did some further investigation and saw the inquiries on my credit report. I followed up with DCH with a phone call on 2/8/24 to ask about it and was told that a sale manager would call me back. Two weeks go by and no call back . So today, 2/20/24, I call and ask to speak to the sale s manager and the person on line said he was a sales manager. I asked him about the hard credit pulls and he got aggressive with me saying I signed to have them pull credit. However, I told him that I did not authorize more than one pull and I made it clear to the sale representatives on the date of my purchase that I did not want my credit ran more than once and they assured me that it wouldn t be pulled more than once. After looking at my yearly credit report, I see that DCH Honda pulled more than the authorized amount of times that I allowed. I will never return to this Honda dealer for any reason and I will take my business somewhere else where they value transparency and honesty.

I bought my last car here and Kyle helped me to find a new one! He offered his cell number if I have any needs regarding the new car, and i appreciate feeling taken care of in that aspect. Kobe helped me with the financing and also made me laugh. Jonathan helped me to take care of further paperwork and recommend some new wing stops. I love the customer service here. Top notch always. I love my new car, and I feel that the pricing was fair and reasonable. I honestly could not ask for more, but I just can't pass up the complimentary fresh popcorn and Starbucks coffee in the waiting area.

My husband and I just purchased a 2024 Honda Pilot. Our sales rep was Samuel he was very attentive and listened to exactly what we were looking for. He did everything to find us the best rate and perfect fit. Would highly recommend Samuel for your car buying needs.

Let Me Explain why I m giving one star. My Sevice adviser Crystal Alcaide was unpleasant very bothered when I ask questions or even talked. I took my daughter car here to get work done. The alarm was not deactivating properly. They did a diagnostic and was told it was a problem with the starter which it was replaced 4 months ago. (I do understand sometimes they can be defective) I was told they couldn t check or disable the alarm unit unless I replace the starter and I would have to pay $208 diagnostic fee plus $315 to disable (take out alarm) if I wanted that done. They wouldn t wave the diagnostic fee because it s not what she requesting to get done. And the alarm system will be check after the starter is put in. When I ask her a break down of the labor how long does it take for a starter to be replace her response it s charge by the work not by the hour, car will be ready tomorrow if I decide to do it. Labor fee was higher than the part fee, I was curious how many hours I was being charged for. I will take my time and money somewhere else where my business is appreciated oh and for AAA member discount apparently diagnostic is not part of labor when it s a labor charge but thank god she gave it to me not very happy to do so but I got it. AAA recommended me this place as one of the perks of members that offer 10% off so before any work you should talk to advisor to double check not assume your getting the discount.

My 2009 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD broke down in the middle of the I-8 freeway and I had it towed here because it's the nearest Honda dealership. I was told by the service manager assigned to me that the diagnostic will be $201 so I agreed. A week later, the same service manager told me $2,500 for a new timing belt should fix it. Then another week later, $5,500 just to open up the engine and find out what's wrong with it, no guarantee it will be fixed for that amount, or $9,500 to replace the engine with the cheapest used one they could find, or I could stop all work and pay them $1,005 for all the trial-and-error labor they already put in just so I could get it towed to a more affordable repair shop with the engine partially disassembled as it is because he said it would cost me another $1,000 just for them to put the parts they took out back together. So I tried the other solution to this problem like any other reasonable consumer would, which is to trade this vehicle for another used vehicle they have for sale. I saw a used 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo listed at $12,627 on their used inventory and filled out the purchase order with trade-in application online on their official website and received a firm offer to trade-in my 2009 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD for $4,107 based on Kelley Blue Book value which was still sitting in their repair shop and an invitation to test-drive the used 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo listed at $12,627. I was so excited and used my day off to head over there and test-drove it and start filling out the paperwork for the trade-in and purchase agreement only to be told by the salesman assigned to me in person that he won't offer me any financing for it and that my trade-in is only worth $1,000 despite the firm written offer I already received from their official website after filling out the purchase order and trade-in application with all the current information about my vehicle with a monthly payment of $504/month for 60 months at 12.99% APR which would have solved my transportation problem immediately by not having to worry about the costs of fixing my current vehicle which has now skyrocketed to over $1,000/month, nearly all my savings is going to repair costs, and having immediately ready transportation to and from work at nights. I came to this place in good faith believing this was the best place to bring my 2009 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD for repair or trade-in only to be turned down completely for both services I offered to pay for, and still end up with a $1,005 trial-and-error repair bill I had to pay just to get my vehicle towed to a more affordable repair shop as it is after they already took apart the engine parts needed to replace the timing belt but realized that was not the solution. So now, I am $1,005 less able to afford to pay the less expensive repair shop to even begin fixing my vehicle while I continue to bleed more money for a rental vehicle just to get to and from work each day it's not fixed yet. I didn't even get an oil change or fluid top off for the $1,005 I already paid for the experimental labor or trial-and-error of trying to replace the timing belt as the fix recommended by the service manager which was not completed either when they realized later that was not the fix.

I had a great experience with Anthony. He was able to find the car we wanted and beat the best pricing. The process was very smooth and he was easy to work with. My wife and I visited a lot of other Honda dealers in the area and Anthony stood out as the best we worked with on our CR-V.

My wife and I visited this dealership recently to look at a used Porsche Macan. We came on a Sunday afternoon with no appointment. It was very busy when we arrived, so we decided to go find the car in the lot and take a look at it. Afterwards, we went back inside and asked the front desk person if there was a salesperson who would be available to help us. In about 5 minutes, we had a person assisting us with the car. Sward, the salesman, was very professional and friendly. He assured me that all their used cars go through an inspection before being sold at their dealership. I am happy to report that after having my personal mechanic inspect the vehicle that this specific car was indeed in great shape for being a 2017 model year with 90k miles on it. It needed nothing, brakes and tires were pretty new all around, and there was no leaks on the undercarriage of the engine, and everything electrical worked perfectly. Thank you Honda of Mission Valley for providing a great customer experience! I would recommend this dealership, and I would look at this dealership again when it comes time to purchasing another used vehicle.

My experience at DCH was great. Everyone I dealt with, from MJ the salesman, Kobe the financial manager, and Dan the sales manager. They understood what I wanted for my car and what I was willing to spend, and they made it happen for me. Their customer service was great at every point, which is why I went with them.

Stay away from this dealership! Ryan the sales person said that the 2000$ security system (on a 15k car!) they put in the car can't be removed. However, magically, when talking to the finance manager he said they removed it and put a 3 year warranty instead. Next, after putting a down payment, I canceled my purchase and was promised to receive a refund. I've been calling every few days since and keep getting different answers from different people about the refund. I've filed a complaint with the DMV and will be pursuing legal actions.

Completely unserious people in the service department who don t value your time in the slightest. I ve been trying to address a warranty issue with the rear brakes on my 2023 Odyssey since September 2023. The original claim was that they had to order the brake pads. 3 full months later, I call back. They still don t have the break pads in stock. I called Lemon Grove, CV Honda, and even this stores own parts department, and was told each time they were either in stock or could be there within a day.When I brought the car back on Dec 23, turns out the actual problem is the rotors! But they need to be ordered as well since they are in LA. Fast forward to today, Jan 22, 2024 and I again have to take it upon myself to call. They claim they got the parts and called some bogus non-working number and then just left it at that. Never mind that I ve come to this service department since 2009 with the exactly same phone number, have received numerous phone calls on my number, which is listed right on the invoice.They have zero motivation to help out people who aren t paying for the service due to it be covered by warranty. I ll have wasted 3 full days of my time trying to fix this issue when it is said and done. They don t care and I guess why should they. No reason to ever come back here once my brakes are fixed.
