This is a decent location. Can t complain. It s a Costco. But this location does not accept insurance for eye exams.

Can't stop praising about any of the Costco's here. Very well managed despite so much of footfall everyday. Staff has been super helpful all the time.Quality and quantity you get here is unbeatable anywhere ! Must shop here if you are a family of 4 or more.

What's there to say..... who doesn't LOVE COSTCO.SELECTIONS * PRICES * WARRANTY/RETURN POLICY, etc., etc.,I just hope with Corporate changes taking place, that they stay true to what "built" them: appreciating and valuing their customer base. They've always seemed like a "friend" who opened a store & consistently gave me side deals !!!

This Costco is always well organized. Lately it feels the checkout lines have been extra long but it's a Costco, that's not surprising. Parking can be kind of tough, especially if you want to be at all close to the entrance. The line for gas typically moves quickly.

Great location!! Good selection of Asian products. Of course the Rotisserie Chicken is awesome. Avoid the gas line unless timed right. I don't purchase fuel here and do not know the right time , however the gas station line is usually long.

Came in on a rainy day with my hands full with my toddler. I grabbed a wet cart and went inside and asked the employee where the towels were so I could dry off the cart before putting my son in the seat. The employee rudely said no. Not I m sorry let me get some or I m sorry we don t offer them anymore. At other Costco's it s common to offer towels when it s raining since they don t store any carts inside, which I understand why. I m disappointed with the customer service, frustrated my son s clothes got wet and disappointed if Costco suddenly stopped offering towels to dry off carts (not only for kids but so you don t have to put items in a wet cart).

Costco s selection of items meets my needs, always current and in season for my area. The employees at this store are awesome! Friendly, helpful, efficient. Store hours are useful, meeting my schedule, and the gas station and food court are an added bonus I love! Thanks Costco.

I've been Costco executive member for over 30 years, and know almost every single employee at my local Costco. For some reason, the self checkout old man here starts acting very unfriendly to the Asia customers ( unfortunately,this Costco also has most Asian population.). I'm avoiding coming this Costco because the funny attitude. Still love to the business center, much better services.

I come here for my gas, car washes, occasional lunches, and of course to load up on groceries. This location is perfect because it's not that much overcrowded like most of the other locations, and it's near my home so I can quickly stop by after I get off of work. Gotta love Costco!

Customer service is subpar. Most of the people working here need more training when interacting with customers. Cashier yelling at the top of her lungs to get customer service over is not necessary. And customer services saying snarky side remarks is not warranted after helping . I used to work in customer service and what those 2 employees did would have never been excusable.

Costco on Carmel Mountain needs to improve on two things. (1)The Loading zone for customers. It's right in front of the store and causes traffic jams. Same thing with the (2) Gas Lines. Ridiculous traffic! Please come up with a solution! Other than that...Great Wholesale Store! ; ) Will still shop here. Also love the ordering improvement at the food court. Just please have someone come out more frequently to clean the hot dog condiment area. Thank you! = }

This costco is very punctual. They open on time and there employees will guide you in the right direction. Very easy to get what you need and get out. They also have a self check out that is very quick.

I would give this place a one star if I could. The employees discriminate and are racist towards anyone that isn t euro American. I would never step foot in this place again. Find a different Costco that doesn t employ racist people like Lexi.

The reason for the 3 stars is because the cashier (a woman) was unbelievably as unprofessional as a person could be. She was venting about something to the guy who helps to load our baskets and could care less about talking to me as the customer. She could have asked how my experience was or focused on me by being kind and professional. But instead she acted a little crazy in front of me and the nearby customers. This store needs more training for their customer service skills and then I will give more stars.

Dear Humans- please stop using the review section to gripe about employees not caring. Duh- its 2024 and retail workers are underpaid essential workers, what do you expect from them as stock buybacks replace raises? Nobody cares that you don t like Maria, or the eyeglass lady hurt your feelings. Truck drivers rely on review spaces to find parking, and dock hours. Stop cluttering it because Maria didnt make you the center of the universe during your costco trip.

Of all the Cosco warehouses, this is my favorite in San Diego. When you arrive, there is plenty of parking space.The store is always well stocked, and even though there are not a lot of staff walking around to help you, when you find someone they are so helpful.There is also a tire store in another building, and a very large food court area. You pay with an automated teller before you get your food so that makes things so much faster.

It s a very busy place which means the parking lot is almost always a little hectic so come prepared with plenty of patience. It s literally the only reason I gave it one less star. Otherwise it s Costco and it works lol.

I had a terrible experience upon checking out with my items with a representative from this Costco by the name of Maria. Not only does she do an extremely poor job of representing what Costco is all about but she has very poor customer service and needs to be retrained she is a very terrible employee and should be fired from her job if she is not re trained properly. She works EXTREMELY TERRIBLE under pressure as it was busy that day but she does not take her job seriously and sincerely does not give a dam about customer service her name is Maria and you can tell she is new by her overall attitude and terrible terrible display of customer satisfaction guarantee. Maria you should consider a new line of work if you do not like what you are doing go get a job somewhere else if Costco makes you so unhappy.

Lots of distracted people walking around like zombies on a Friday afternoon, people on their phones blocking the way, completely zoned out. Not enough variety like usual, not sure what happened but this used to be one of my favorite locations in the Greater San Diego.Very few cheeses, again, lacking variety of deli, specialty produce, berries, prepared food. The imported cheese prices were extremely high.

Hey it's Costco warehouse nothing new. Gas station has best prices. Food court going downhill with kiosks... idk my hotdog was kinda sadly thrown together. But still can't really complain for a buck fifty.

This is my local Costco. Staff does a great job and keeping this place moving. Clientele can be slow and oblivious, run their carts into your ankles, block aisles, etc... so watch out. But the staff are all excellent.

I go to Costco every week to fill up gas in my & my wife's car. Also we go there at least once a month for other purchases, like sweets, cakes, fruits, cheeses, plants, flowers, chips, nuts, bread, tortillas, salads, wine & alcohol, popcorn, chocolate, cookies, coffee pods, vitamins, coconut water, eggs & egg whites, paper towels, toilet paper, dishes, dish & cloth detergents, clothing, shoes & socks. Twice a month we get giant pizza for 10 $ Big items like appliances, TV, furniture etc are also good buys when on sale. Most members get enough refunds back to pay for the membership ( 4% cash back for gas & 2% back for other purchases at Costco or anywhere else ) Overall Costco is a great place for shopping, good quality at great prices.

Self checkout workers are lazy and just talk to each other without helping the customers. Heard them mocking asian customers that were checking out. There is a large Asian community that shops there, unacceptable.

I felt very thirsty early morning last on Friday; Nov 3.When I drank 2% Lactos free milk taste was weird. The milk expire date is Nov 27, 2023.I had had same problem before, that time I thought something I had mistaken; I threw away it. So, I d bought same as before I gotten.When I thought to Costco; I had to told them.The customer servicer said; Yes I will be report it. The Costco is one of my favourite store; fresh, nice quality, easy to return etc.(Thank you read my review.)

People aren t kidding when they say everything is bigger at Costco. The parking lot easily had over 100 cars, but because of its sheer size it felt relatively empty. There was another structure on the far side of the lot that resembled a gas station, but I couldn t really confirm due to the lack of binoculars or 20/20 vision.With our Gold Star Costco cards in hand, we started our journey by entering the right side of the store. The warehouse is designed like this, which is smart from a business point of view. Research finds shoppers tend to look left then right when entering a store, and then proceed to shop in a counter-clockwise motion. Right away, I noticed the store is brightly lit, clean, packed with goods (especially electronics), and even sports some local team coolers.We made our way around the electronics display to find yet another table for Costco s Anywhere Visa Card. The free coolers were on display. Damn, these people are good. That was three credit card pitches before my son could point out the car-sized rubber duck hanging from the ceiling.We found an awesome unicorn shirt for our niece and a giant teddy bear!
