Had a terrible experience here. Was first told that I could not receive a patch because I had to have my tires rotated every 7k miles which I was not told when I originally bought these tires. Eventually got a patch after putting up a fight. Then I came to get them rotated, waited 2 hours to be told that they cannot rotate the tires when I leave for a roadtrip tomorrow. Not to mention that Nathan was very unhelpful and extremely rude. Don t waste your time here.

Avoid this location!!!I went to patch 1 tire. And came out with two frozen studs and 1 broken.. Ruben, the manager, won't let you explain. Instead, he would give a quick generic answer to get rid of you. not cooo!!l . (Assumptions )Also tried to put claim on it and the exact words from them where it's an old car things like this happens.... really!! 2009 vehicleWow, horrible excuse the car had no issues.The driver side front tire had the flat, and since there was no fix for it, the rear was moved to the front, and the spare was placed in the rear .Now explain this to me if they were able to remove both tire on the driver side with no issues. thefenetly they broke off the stud on intall. Sure, blame the car. Is more like they over torque and crossed treated the studs.I expect to hear from corporate or somebody that can help me..Thanks

Horrible services, I came in and got advice to change all 4 tires even though I only need 1 tire. I go ahead and take the advice, two weeks later, the new tire has a leak, I come in again to have it check, waited for 4 hrs and the car still hasn t been check. I trusted Costco name and find myself so disappointed. Never come back again

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.Very rude manager, Ruben, and employee.Came in to ask questions on a battery return. Interstate battery said to go to CostCo. After explaining this to the technician at the counter, he walks ways saying 'this guy doesn't listen' in front of all customers and manager Ruben. Manager Ruben didn't have a problem with this. I guess that would explain his character as when I came in he was talking down to an older couple with less than perfect Enlgish, with a loud voice and was being overtly condescending.This manager and employee are an embarrassment.

It does not deserve any star. Worst experience ever.I took appointment to fix a puncture, came on time, was told it will take two hours. I had to wait in the food court with my family, two toddlers as I was visiting San Diego from Arizona.Went to check at the end of two hours, and they said one more hour. Then again one more hour. After waiting for total 4 hours, I told them I will get it fixed somewhere else. At that point they said the tyre is already taken out, it will be done quickly.After another one hour, they told me they put a new tyre on without informing me. I was furious at them for delaying, putting a new tyre without informing me, and then providing no information when I asked them. It was unprofessional and unlike COSTCO.They dampen the vacation time, wasted my family day, and on top of that never apologized for the mess up.

Do yourself a favor and avoid using this location. Waited 30min after arrival for my appointment to get checked in. And I had to fight my way to the front. I show up to check the status 1.5hr later. Car is ready. They never called. Why make an appointment? Waste of time! The workers don t give a damn. Last time they mounted one of my tires wrong. You are just another joe. I blame Costco for not hiring enough workers.

Not worth minimal money saved, you might spend more with headaches,Over two hour wait with appointment time, I ended up ruining my wheel wells after my new tires were put on because the service team did not let me know how my wheel wells were looking, I was expecting them to tell me that they were loose, I never wanna come here again

Had a blowout late yesterday. Drove a quarter mile to this place and even though it was after 6 pm and I had no appointment, they stayed late and fixed it. I left at 9 pm with a brand new tire. Thank you to the folks that stayed late and made my car roadwork again!

Great friendly service. If you need to replace tires, it's best to order online and make appointment for installation when they ship. Rotate/balance is about 45min to 1 hour walk-in in the morning.

Edwin was incredibly kind and helpful. Give this man a raise!!! I was trying to use the self-help inflation air pump outside but to no avail. He came out and was patient and thorough, even checking all my tires to make sure there wasn t any damage. Granted he was the one who originally installed my new tires weeks ago but still, excellent attitude excellent service!

No one at help desk I had to look for someone. M assertive my appointment start late then car sat there. So slow, employees avoid actually doing work at any cost by talking pretending to take off tire then pause for 10 minutes and work for 1 minute.Makes you wonder if they really care about vehicle tires for safety of family. Seems like just a paycheck to them doing time.They do not work, want to work. My car sat there after complete had to ask for it and it was done.Worst service ever.Bad for Costco reputation!

Even If they want to give away free Tires and Battery Ill never go to this place again.I generally love Costco but I am very Disappointed in the tire center.I bought the battery for my car 2 months ago, but during 2 months I have had several times problems with it, but doesn't matter sometimes things like this happen, but the problem was the person who works in this center, when I explained my situation he asked for my Costco card membership, I told him I didn t have it at the moment he could have explained to me I had to have it but he was so rude and just smirked to me and made me feel stupid. They don t know any thing about customer service

Michael P. Helped us greatly. Above and beyond the job.My mother in laws battery died, and on turning into the lot the car itself stalled, I had trouble pushing it the rest of the way and Michael jumped in without prompting and helped out. Pushing it the rest of the way with me.He also pulled up the specs on the battery for our vehicle and the tire departments prices were much more reasonable than the towing company or Napa Auto parts.At $132 for the battery after all said and done compared with the $209 from the other guys and that's without the towing companies fees they would ask to install it.Self installed, 4 bolts and done. Great buy! And Michael P. Is a great guy!

My experience there was great!! The gentlemen who helped me had my best interest in mind and communicated well with me. I did a walk-in to get my tires replaced and the timeline they gave me for picking up my car was very accurate. The only complaint i have is that it s hard to get a hold of them over the phone. Other than that, I definitely felt taken care of. Thanks!

Please listen to all the bad reviews, I ignored it and learned my lesson the hard way. They don t pick up phone calls. Don t waste your time calling. I had appointment later in the week but I got a unplanned day off and the tires are ready so I think I can just walk in and maybe wait 3 hours or something. Went in at 10:45, the guys said it will be 3-4 hours since I didn t have appointment. I said fine. I was expecting that. He took my key and put number 14 on my car. I left and went to IKEA and Lowes and waited until 3:30pm which is almost 5 hours later. Hopefully my car was up there being work on and almost done. Saw my car hasn t move. Nothing was done. Saw number 11,12 and 13 still sat there. I went in there and told them I have been waiting 5 hours. They should know how long is the estimate wait time and give me realistic expectation. If they say that they are so busy and it will take at least 6 hours. I would have change my plan and wait for my appointment later in the week. Instead they said don t worry we will expedite it and have me waited for another hour. I went out and look at my car. Still have another car in front of me. I just told them to give me the key and I can t wait any longer and stop giving me false hope. Waste my whole day. I would have got a lot of things done at home. Hope they improve process and communicate with customer better. At least set boundaries and know your limitations. I would appreciate them being honest and turn me away than have me waited 6 hours with nothing done. The girl that was waiting next to me had an appointment and took 3 hours to get her tires installed.

Soooo many issues I don t even know where to begin. I guess the biggest issue was that the online system to purchase tires had the incorrect size for my car. But they had the actual size in stock, so not a problem. However, when we went inside to get a refund for the tires I originally purchased the guy at the customer support counter refunded the money to my debit card rather than a gift card, causing me to not have the funds available to purchase the new tires because of the processing times. After ~30 minutes of everyone trying to figure out how to reverse it I still had to come up with the money in order to purchase the new tires. See the smartest and quickest thing to do would be either exchanging the tires, and paying the difference, or like I stated earlier, putting the refund on the gift card. The guys did everything they could to fix it. But even though I expressed my frustration with the whole situation they did not try to redeem themselves at the end, not even an apology. I was handed my invoice and told to have a good day.As someone who works in customer service, it is important to leave a good lasting impression for each customer. And I had a horrible experience. It was my first time purchasing tires at Costco and I only did it because they had a sale. I was not told the benefits of purchasing tires with Costco and what is covered under the warranty. Highly disappointed that they didn t try to redeem themselves at the end. I won t be recommending Costco tire center to a single person and really wish I just stuck with Discount Tire. Customer service goes a long way.One last thing, my originally purchased tires arrived earlier than expected and the online system to reschedule sucks. Did not work at all. I tried calling 9 times and no one ever picked up the phone. In fact, the first time I called the phone was picked up and immediately hung up.

Ok, I really hope these guys start getting paid more because the service reflects how much they make an hour. I really like coming here for the convenience of shopping and having my tires rotated at the same time. But some of the dudes here are never in good moods, I really try and not give them hard times because I understand working there might not be great. Maybe it s just the location. Who knows . COSTCO PAY THESE GUYS MORE, they ll be happier at their jobs and happy employees give good service!!!

I read all the 1 star reviews and I realize places like Discount or America s Tire will price match Costco and maybe provide quicker service, but I didn t want to deal with the hassle of doing that. So I went in for my 5:40 pm appointment with the realistic expectation that it may take longer than quoted and waited until I received the it s ready call to put temperature sensitive items in my cart. Big thanks to Jeff though for a quick and speedy 1 hr turnaround! If you have a newer car expect to probably need to replace (or don t) your TPMS sensors, and at $45 each with free install during new tire installation it was a lot cheaper than quoted to me anywhere else. Overall I m stoked and remain Costco loyal, even with tires.

Great price and warrentyBad on scheduling.I've had Costco do my tires for years and have always been happy with the value of the purchase and if they could keep their schedule in order of give them 5 stars but they consistantly fail on getting my car back to me when they say they will. We make an appointment, show up early and they tell us it'll be ready in an hour. For the third time in a row our car wasn't even on the lift before the hour was up. Looks like my truck tires are getting done and rotated at discount next time.

SHOPPERS BEWARE APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT HONORED AT THIS LOCATION!!!Just ordered 4 new tires for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and scheduled an appointment. Almost an hour and a half later my tires still aren t installed and now I m being told that they are working on my vehicle now. Even if the typical turn around for a 4 tire change was an hour, the math doesn t add up. When I worked on cars, I would ve been fired if changing 1 tire took 20 minutes from start to finish. However, this place is comfortable with telling you that your car will be finished a whole 90 minutes (22.5 minutes per tire) after your appointment. I understand that finding the car, driving it into the bay, and setting it up takes time, but that should be at most a 10 minute job. And that s being extremely generous.

Tried calling to get a tire fixed. People aren't lying when they say they don't answer their phone. I tried calling the admin office to ask if that's just their policy, they didn't answer their phone. Normally, i wouldn't give a one star review for not answering a phone call but this Costco is the worst Costco. I stopped renewing my membership to Costco because of how terrible this specific Costco is. Literally everything about this specific Costco is garbage. Just closer her down and turn it into more parking space for IKEA. At least they'll take a phone call.

I generally love Costco. They have such great products and reasonable prices.However, I am very Disappointed in the tire center. Not because they are not nice, but because they have not been transparent and truthfulI came I and order tires, then paid and was told I would get a call the next day early am to schedule installation. I didn t. I called and they told me I would get a call in a few hours. I didn t. Then they told me by the next morning, I didn t. It is easy to put people off without actually checking the details. I believe this is what has happened. They didn t want to check so they gave me a standard guess.Great service is based on real customer service and transparency. I hope they get a manager who understands this.

I purchased a set of Michelin tires at Costco online and scheduled the installation locally at Costco Fenton Pkwy in San Diego. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested, and asked how long I should allow, since I planned to shop at Costco next door while I waited. Richard was very friendly and said it should be ready by 3pm (appt was at 2pm), but no later than 3:30pm. He also said he would call when the car was ready. I had no service inside the store, so I waited until 3:25pm to check out, as I had both hot (rotisserie chicken) and cold (meats and eggs) items. I arrived next door to the tire center at 3:35pm, and was told that the tires were being installed. The guys in back finally finished at 4:29 pm. My food may or may not be good by the time I get home. What good are appointments if the guys in back are going to prioritize walk-ins over those of us who took the time to schedule an appointment?? I m very disappointed in the lack of customer service here, and do not plan on purchasing tires here in the future.

The tire center broke my TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), they didn't tell me about it until I noticed the tire light would not go off, and made me go back and get the story of what happened. Charged me an extra $50 to replace it.

I am trying to get through to the tire center and it has been a straight 20 minutes of calling them with no pick up. I had to go through the administrator. Bought tires but with this type of customer service of ignoring calls, I am returning the tires. Taking my business to discount tires.

I went in to check tire prices, wasn t acknowledged, someone came in after me and jumped the line, next did too. I finally left and told him he clearly didn t see me, so dissatisfied and disappointed. Discount Tires will be where I get tires from now on
