I'm incredibly grateful to Convoy Auto Repair for turning a frustrating car buying experience into a positive one. After realizing I'd unknowingly purchased a 2008 Lexus RX350 from a private seller was a lemon, I brought it to Convoy for a diagnostic check. They were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and understanding, taking the time to explain everything that needed to be fixed and prioritizing repairs based on my budget.I especially appreciate that they didn't charge me the initial diagnostic fee and only charged for the essential brake repairs I could afford at the time. They even sent me pictures of the issues, making it easy for me to understand the repairs needed.Thanks to Convoy's excellent service, I now have a safe and reliable car. Just moved here from the desert looking for a trustworthy mechanic for my Ford 2013 F150. Saw the reviews about Convoy Auto Repair and thought I d give them a shot. Took my truck in for oil change and diagnostic. Came back with a list of 4 items that were critical and 9 items service suggested. Decided to do all the repairs. Was pleased with time frame and fare costs for repair. Their communication and suggestions was great from start to finish. They re very transparent which makes them trustworthy. Will definitely use them for all our mechanical needs. Highly recommend Convoy Auto Repair!

My experience was amazing. I was able to bring my car in the morning and had my issues addressed and fixed in the same day. Joe was extremely friendly, Roman (service advisor) kept me informed every step of the way with reports, and Craig (tech) executed the repairs quickly. Very honest, transparent, and pricing was reasonable. Essentially had dealership quality experience here at a fraction of the cost. Will come again.

I haven t been to Convoy Auto for ~1 year, was pleased they have the van/ride service back in effect. That was a big help getting my car picked up. I spent a bit more than I anticipated when the car was dropped off but CA did a good job on the diagnostics, and actually saved me some $$ by getting the needed replacement battery replaced under warranty. All other work done per the phone calls and they honored their on-line discount coupon. Thanks Joe and Roman, will see you again!

I have been going to Convoy auto repair for around 14 years. I have NEVER, NEVER had to take my truck back in because of faulty workmanship. I have a 1994 ford ranger that has over 230,000 miles on it. I feel that this is because of the workmanship from them. Everyone there are very helpful and pleasant to work with. And most important, they have always been HONEST with me. If you decide to try them out, ask for JOE or DAVID

So far so good! I got connected with them because of their work with Hyundai cars and the dealer was pretty booked. Convoy Auto Repair has helped me on the last month and a half get new brakes, get my check engine light issue resolved, and get rid of the annoying noises my car was making. Their turn around has been great, especially if you go in there knowing what you need.

Quick, friendly, and excellent work done on my mini cooper! The overnight drop was so convenient and they handled everything, including the contact for my warranty. These guys are the real deal and I will bring my car here every time moving forward. So amazing!

I tried Convoy A/R after loosing my usual Honda tech. I made an appt for an oil service. The service writer was professional, knowledgeable and didn t try to sell me on anything unnecessary. They did the LOF, rotated my tires, and performed a complete vehicle inspection in less than an hour. Great experience. I will definitely come back.

This shop has fast service and great customer service. I got the catalytic for my Prius stolen on Sunday and on Tuesday my car was ready. They rapidly ordered the parts and assisted my insurance on the estimate. Matthew gave me all assistance I needed! Thank you!

Convoy Auto did a terrific job in repairing the front end including frame damage to my 2004 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner after slamming into a brick wall. To say the least I was devastated from this collision and was afraid the insurance company would total my truck. I ll always be grateful to Sean and his team for their confidence and professionalism in repairing my truck back to her original condition.

Took my vehicle in for an overheating issue. Left it in their hands and waited outside in the parking lot. Within an hour and a half the diagnosis was made. There was a water pump leak. No nonsense. I was told that the bottom line was an expensive repair is needed. I takes a long time. I really appreciated the truth without a lot of other things that should be done while the vehicle was being worked on to generate more money for the shop.I would recommend this shop to anyone that needs work done on their vehicle.

Took my VW Beetle for some concerns on the transmission. The problem wasn t clearly diagnosed, they didn t want to take the transmission apart to diagnose clearly, but still charged $140 diagnostic and referred somewhere else. Would have been better if they had done the second part first and not charged us for nothing.

AAA towed my car to Convoy Auto Repair, so I assumed they were trustworthy. It's been a long time since I've needed an emergency auto repair, so I didn't know what to expect.Roman explained everything that was going to happen to my car from before it was even dropped off. I happen to be visiting my daughter in the San Diego area and looked up top rated auto mechanics backed by AAA I don t entrust my 2005 Lexus SC430 to just any mechanic. I read the reviews and I made the call. My goodness I not only got the most reasonable oil change I ve had in ages but in addition I got a very comprehensive check up on my vehicle. They found 2 items that needed immediate attention that could have left me stranded on the side of the road had they not been tended to. I not only entrust my automobile to them I have shared this with my daughter who has a Mini Cooper to call Convoy if she has any issues She will be getting her oil changed there as well. I m sold! I trust them wholeheartedly as they didn t apply the high pressure technique the other guys especially the dealers do and they didn t upsellI found them to be forthright and caring

Dropped my car off @ 10:30 for a routing oil change, went and had brunch and it was ready in 2 hrs. just as promised. I've been using Convoy Auto for over 10 years and have always found their service recommendations to be honest, their prices fair and their work excellent . I recommend them highly.

I have taken my car in the past to the Volvo dealership but this time I needed another option due to my schedule. I was very satisfied with the service and staff that serviced my car. They were fair with price and tire rotation came with my service. I will definitely take my 2010 Volvo back.

Was given an estimate and then told I had to pay an extra $120 for a gasket and radiator fluid. They did not offer any type of discount for their oversight. I feel that at the very least they could have refilled my radiator without charging me for the fluid. Do not take their first estimate seriously and be careful about getting nickeled and dimed because they will not offer any type of discounts.Update - 12/18/23 after the transmission was installed, I left and had issues with it. I will give them credit for brokering it to the dealership who correctly programed my transmission and later on when the sensor on my tire didn't work they cleaned the sensor to get it to work for free. I appreciate after the rocky start they stuck with it and got my car working without charging me more money to make things right.

I needed my brakes done because they were making a squeaky noise so I scheduled an appointment for 9:30 Monday. Mind you I hate going to auto repair shops. My husband normally does this but he s on deployment right now, so I had no choice but to take care of this on my own. When I arrived I was helped by Sean with collecting my info and getting info for my car, after all that I gave him the keys and left as I was leaving they were grabbing my car to start checking and diagnosing my car. Around 11 they called and told me the problem/price I confirmed with them to start the work on my vehicle. (They also send updates through txt message as well) and around 2 my car was all done and ready for pick up. Overall, everything went smoothly and I m happy my car didn t have to be in the shop for days, they work fast and the work was done correctly. I think the customer service could have been more inviting as you walk in from some of the employees. I m glad I worked with Sean he was nice. I would return to this shop if I ever need work done on a vehicle. Thanks Convoy Auto Repair!

This shop was great to work with. I had an unexpected noise coming from my vehicle, showed up without an appointment, and was out of there in less than two hours. The staff was polite and friendly and my vehicle has never run so smoothly.

So far so good but since it was just yesterday the end result of the work over the next few weeks will increase or decrease my rating . I m clueless on cars and have no idea the status of catalytic converters and fuel pressure sensors so right now I m satisfied and pretty neutral

Great experience at Convoy. Not only did David and his team do a great job fixing my car but when it came time for me to purchase a used car, I arranged to have them inspect the car I was ready to buy. The crew at Convoy found several things wrong with it which kept me from making the purchase. We came in for a pre-purchase auto check, and was impressed with the care and professionalism. We decided to buy the van, and came back, both for the price and care given. When we got to the all-night drop off, my son left his wallet in the now locked van, keys in the slot. Anyway, Joe made it a point to safeguard the wallet, and, after prompting us to use the AAA discount, turned the van and wallet back.
