I m not sure the name of the gentlemen helping me but he was super helpful. Came in the morning to get an oil change, some new parts that broke, and an air filter replaced. It was really affordable and I know other places would ve charged me double the price. It was all done in the same day too and he called me multiple times to keep me updated throughout the day!

Barry and his team should be rated at 10 stars!Brought my car in yesterday and it was not due back until Tuesday. My parts came today and the car is running awesome!I will return to Cliff Brown for future services but hope to not need any soon though

My 20 year old Tundra was starting to run rough for the 1st time ever. Worst case bad valve, and or bad spark/air componentsCan't say anything bad about CBs crew. Dropped in without an appointment this morning, diagnosed, bad parts shown to me, no hard sell, all replaced, quote very affordable and on point, all done within the day, ready to run tough and smooth for another 20. Thank you, thank you thank you

Great service. Very friendly. They gave me a quote and I paid less because they said it ended up costing less. It's VERY hard to find an honest mechanic shop. I was so impressed with this auto shop. I was in town house sitting for my son and found out his car s brakes were bad. I called this shop that was a block away the afternoon I got into town and they told me to just bring it right over.The car ended up needing front and rear brakes as well as new front and back rotors and they were able to get it all done for me to pick up the next morning at 8:00 am.Customer service was amazing- so friendly, professional and reassuring!Highly recommend!Service: Auto brake replacement

I started going to Cliff Brown Automotivw about 3 years ago and have an old car.I have been very happy with every aspect of this auto shop! The quality, the pricing, the workmanship, the customer service, the staff s responsiveness to my questions and mechanical issues have always been met with positivity and a yes-attitude!So nice to see customers treated and valued! SHADY SHADY SHADY. This shop had my car for almost a month claiming to have had fixed all these things and still never fixed it, in the end just decided that they couldn t fix it and I needed to take it to the dealership. worst part of it all is that one of the other mechanics accidentally slipped up and told me that everything that was claimed to be fixed wasn t being fixed the whole time . Barry is truly a piece of work don t let his friendliness fool you, he s money hungry and disrespectful. $1100 wasted for a problem that never even got fixed , beware of this shop .Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

A long overdue review... Barry and his guys are the best!! They have repaired both mine and my husbands vehicles. He is extremely trustworthy which is hard to find in a mechanic. Very reasonable prices. Our vehicles are always ready to go by the end of the day.Thank you Barry!!

We have been going to Cliff Browns for 5 years now with over a dozen visits following countless rip offs at other mechanics. They are always fair and honest. One time they couldn't complete the job on my 350Z with confidence and advised this was specialty work and take to dealer. They did not charge me for the 2-3 hours they needed to identify this nor did they screw my car up. I would recommend to anyone!!

I was in San Diego on a vacation with my son. My car started over heating and I called cliff auto and came right down and Barry stopped what he was doing to help my son and I get back on the road. Barry was very kind and very helpful. I cannot thank him enough for his help and honesty fixing my car. I highly recommend Cliff auto for your car needs. Thank you Barry!

Showed up with front bearings that were getting a little warn out and a heat shield that was rattling when breaking. They were kind enough to not charge me for diagnostic on the bearings as it was just visual, I had to be a little persistent that the rattling wasn t bearing related but they figured it out. They didn t pressure me into doing the work, and were positive dudes. Gonna take the shield off myself, saving me some bucks. They re out to make money like any decent business, but solid dudes that won t do you wrong.

The AC condenser drain needed to be unclogged in my car. It s legit a 10 min job. I called multiple places and Barry was the only around to give me a fair price. They got the job done!

A long time ago they fixed my old Ford's cylinder block after several shops botched the job. They repair the service vehicles for MCAS Miramar, so I trust them to know what they're talking about, and to not mess with me. Today they checked out a possible problem on my Lexus that turned out to be nothing, and only charged me $25 for the diagnostic. Barry and the gang are really good mechanics who have been in business a long time. I find the other reviews suspect.

I came in with a broken control arm for one of my tires. I had it towed to the shop and Barry told me he would call with the problem and necessary repairs. He promptly called and said one control was broken and the other was bent. I took his word on it and told him to repair it. When I went to pick up the car, I asked for the bent control arm. When it was given to me, I told the mechanic it didn't look bent. He reacted by saying it was bent. Later that day, I compared the "bent" arm to a brand new arm from a parts store and they were identical. I called Barry and his response was it better to take the precaution and replace it in the event it was bent. Maybe so but that is not what they initially told me. I am giving one star because they charged me for something that wasn't broken or damage and they lied. Plain and simple.

I just went to this place and i was told they do not install customer bought parts. But actually me and my wife has been to this place before and they installed a part we bought a few months back. So all i am saying is do not go to this place of business because they obviously lie to customers or they have favoritism. My name is Steven Bond and i just visited this place today 9/1/20 and went there around 11:30am to 11:45am so whoever was working between those times which was an older asian gentleman needs to be fired or reprimanded and i did get my thermostat that i bought installed today 9/1/20 from a good business and his name is HAIGS complete auto repair 3750 University ave. Please do not go to this shop and go to Haigs complete auto repair thank you

I when to this place to get an alignment simple as that. The asian guy there told me a need it more than just an alignment, talking about replacing my camber kit because according to this guy Honda Civic's are alight from the rear wheels. I don't know what the hell was this guy talking about all I needed was a simple alignment because my car was pulling to the right. We agreed to get my car an alignment, I dropped off my car early in the morning and I don't why in the world took this guys so long but they call me at 4pm and even after I call numerous time they never returned my call. I was so freaking piss!!! Finally I pick up my car but guess what? the asian guys told me that my steering wheel was a little off set WTF!! my car was worse!!! not only the steering wheel was off set my car was pulling to my right really hard. The asian guy told me to call him first thing in the morning because it was closing time and there was no time to fix it. I was like " excuse me I was waiting all freaking day" he just said come back tomorrow please and walked away. I'm a college student so I was not able to go next day but I did called him within the same week and this time around I white male answer my call and said there was no warranty on the job and if I wanted to get my car fix a had to pay again. This guys are lairs pieces of shtttt!!! bad service, idiots, clueless and unprofessional!!!!!

I had them do a lot of electrical on my old Chevy trucks also exhaust and they did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them they are very honest and the work they do is very clean.

I love the preventive work they did to my car and my car runs great. It was a bit more than I expected to pay but the difference is having someone with experience perform the work.

Called about Reader coupon which says, "All cars...same price." Said w/out DMV renewal would charge me $20 more to manually input VIN. Doesn't say that on coupon. DMV said didn't need renewal notice. Then hung up on me when I questioned. Calling BAR and BBB.
