This is my number 8 visit in 12 years for 8 different Audi, BMW, and Mercedes cars and SUVs. This is still the best place for alignment. I have come to the conclusion that the dealers and other alignment shops only know how to use a machine, and they are at the mercy of its quality and tolerances. Here, the job is done correctly, according to the science, and mathematics. No one can touch my alignment even the best head mechanics at the dealership!It has to be done in this place. You drive a brand new car, out of factory, it is all over the place, after alignment in this place, it is ready for race tracks. Straight, solid, no tramlining (even with 325mm or 315mm width tires), and the tire wear is just perfect, exactly same everywhere.Service: Wheel alignment

The staff is FRIENDLY and operates with HONESTY and INTEGRITY. They will do an honest assessment of your vehicle and give you recommendations on how to proceed. It's comforting to know that companies like this still exist and operate to the HIGHEST STANDARDS where their work and their PROVEN TRACK RECORD are shown with their customers' reviews.

I love this place. I am 69 years old and have been coming here since high school! When we, like many other owners, noticed our relatively new Hyundai Sonata was going through tires like crazy we asked the dealer to fix the problem. They claimed there was nothing wrong with the car. After a front AND rear alignment at Clarence Brown the problem disappeared! They fixed the problem right the first time and at a reasonable price.

Took my van to get an alignment and some bushings replaced. Pretty expensive but I get it. When I came to pick up the van and drive off, the abs would randomly kick on while braking.. the van NEVER did this before I brought it to them. They must have been rough on it when replacing stuff and smashed the abs sensor. When I called to see if they would fix it, they said no and that it s not their problem literally what the guy said. Super lame since I just paid $1500 for some bushings, a ball joint and an alignment. I do not recommend this shop they take ZERO responsibility when it comes to fixing things THEY broke

These guys are the best. Alignment and brake service .. Most affordable. Highest quality of work. Most importantly high integrity and ethics. They will not recommend what your vehicle does not need just to make money. That's not them.

Came in for an alignment on my 2018 Forester XT. Straight up people out here at Clarence Brown. A lady had a car pulling to the right, so she brought it in. They checked her alignment, and even test drive her car. Didn't find any issues. Found out that she took it in to the tire shop to air it up few hours before. Sent her home with no charge. GREAT HONEST PEOPLE!

Real professionals. They know exactly what they're doing, they're very good at it, prices are fair and competence is high.This is particularly important if you have a classic car: many alignment shops are unable to properly adjust an older vehicle, because they have to use older techniques and equipment. The mechanics at Clarence Brown know how to do it the old fashioned way, and how to carefully work with classic vehicles.

Paid $367.00 to align a restored 1984 Porsche 911sc 3.2L Carrera-Targa. (All new front end parts, bushings, struts, inner/outer turbo tie rods, control arms & bushings....) No rusted, dirty mess for them.

These guys are the best. Had my Evo and my STI done here. Replaced my steering rack and had a bunch of warning lights and in 30 min they had it working flawless. Wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. Have full adjustability in all 4 wheels on both cars. If your serious about having a pro alignment you won't take your car anywhere else. Thanks so muchService: Wheel alignment

As usual, they never disappoint. Took my sons car there for alignment, and they fixed the front spindle and aligned the car for a good and fair price and didn't take long at all. Been going to these guys for 20 years, and will keep going there.

I made an appointment several days in advance when I arrived on Tuesday morning it was like they were waiting for me and they got right on the job. After the road test and a careful inspection of the vehicle the technician came to me and explained what they're going to do even though my steering gearbox needed adjustment he did not pressure me into adjusting it. I wish I could remember the technician's name and the service writers name because they were both fantastic. And what they didn't know was I am an ASE certified technician of 45 years just recently retired and have been sending them business for years from various shops that I worked at but I just wanted to go in and see how they treated normal customers so I never mentioned that fact to them. Thanks guys and you did a great job

I went there with my 2016 VW gti which is lowered and not only did they do an amazing job! They only charged 137.00 for a 4 wheel alignment and also gave me some amazing advice. I would give them more stars if I could. Highly recommend!

Clarence Brown's is my go to place for all my vehicles over the last decade. These guys are the real deal. Really wish they did engine mechanical also but they are the best at what they do. An eval will result i diagnosis and they provide options for what needs done. They don't upsell, if you decide to go with minimal to get you back on the road or choose to have everything that needs done completed in one visit they offer quick quality service at reasonable prices. My budget doesn't allow dealer repairs. Ive gotten quotes from others. This place offers dealer quality at wallet friendly pricing.

These guys are the real deal. Had my low mileage 2008 350Z aligned there a few days ago and she drives fantastic. Another shop tried aligning it twice and it was still out of spec. I'm glad I found these guys online and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Took my 1966 Mustang here for alignment after I rebuilt all the suspension. The guys checked over my work and helped me diagnose some things and aligned it for less than 100$ out the door. Even took the time to let me speak with the mechanic who worked on my car. Awesome place close to home. I will be back.

My car is slightly lowered and I tried another alignment shop close to my house. I was told their alignment machine would not fit on a lowered card. Gave Clarence Brown a call and they said no problem.These guys are awesome. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and responsive. Their motto is "We do things differently. You come first" and that's exactly how I was treated. They know their stuff and seem to be very passionate about doing it right. If you need an alignment you should put Clarence Brown at the top of you list.

I have a 1971 Torino CobraJet. I visited several alignment shops in San Diego ,El Cajon, Lakeside. They all say they can do it but when you show up they say " it's not in the computer so we can't do it"At Clarence Brown they don't need no stinking computer. My car drives like it's on rails. The price was also extremely reasonable. I will never go anywhere else. Love this place. You will too.

I called and received a quote for $95.95 for an alignment on my 2016 Mustang GT, this was a "higher price" because of the larger wheels. An hour into the appointment I receive a call, stating that the price for an alignment, had gone up to $350 because they needed to drop down my sway bar and it would take 2 to 3 hours more. I ended up still being charged $50 for the "inspection"When I asked if lifetime alignment was offered, I was told lifetime alignment is not real and is just a way for shops to take more money from you.I brought my car to Firestone Tire the next day and they offer Lifetime alignment for $200. They didn't add any surprise charges and were very friendly. Firestone Tire has made loyal customer, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else.-Vanessa

Brought in my 2013 Honda fit for an alignment since I just installed BC-Racing Coilovers and Cam bolts. They were super friendly and asked if I wanted/needed anything "special" done to the suspension. All I asked was to tuck the front wheels with minimal camber. They did just that. Also love that they use the non-computerized/mechanical alignment method. Will definitely come back.
