The drivers door on my 2000 Honda was dented last year in an accident and I brought it to Caliber Collision to get fixed. A few months later the door handle became faulty, so I brought it back under the warranty to get replaced. Javier, the manager, was very communicative throughout the process (texting with updates, let me know when the part arrived) and had a great attention to detail. The repair only took a few days! Thanks to the Caliber team!!

By far the best experience I've had with a collision service. David was great! He made me feel that my car was in good hands, and the customer service and communications was top notch. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.

My insurance company recommended this particular Caliber Collision location after an accident (not my fault, but seriously damaged my car). Ken Thayer was incredibly helpful and personable. He kept me informed through the lengthy repair process, and even helped me with a minor follow-up issue. The repair work was perfect and the customer service was ideal.

My insurance provider recommended this company to perform the repairs. They exceeded my expectations of customer service and the length of time the truck was in the shop. David would consistently give me updates on what s going on with the truck. The truck was repaired before the projected repair day which was a pleasant surprise. I can t recommend this place enough, you will be taken care of if your vehicle gets sent here.

When you have the misfortune of a fender bender the absolute best place in San Diego is the Caliber Collision team!!! I have been to 2 locations and they were both amazing to work with and my car repair was BEYOND perfect! I will never go anywhere else! I wish you could hire them to fix things outside of insurance!

Great shop. Top quality work on my Prius. Excellent communication with daily updates from David. Finished repairs a day ahead of promise date. Highly recommend. Worked seamlessly with my USAA insurance.

I just had recent experience last week Tuesday with this company. On October 6,I had got in accident which messed up just my whole passenger side as you can see in the pictures.That same day when I stepped in Caliber I was welcome and given good customers service by the receptionist and Mr. Luis. While they had my car Mr. Luis kept in touch very often.They also had text message system that kept me with the latest update in which status my car was in.My car stayed with them week and two days after the day they originally told me.My car is odd color so the first painting they did Mr. Luis called me days before the original expected date I was going get my car saying he was not please how the color came out.I respected him for that too.He could had me pick my car up knowing the color did not match but he did not.I also had other paint damaged on my car not from the accident Caliber took care of that I did not asked them too.They even replace my lights too.:)I thought that was nice of them where it save me time and money trying figure out how to get them repairs taking care of.I highly recommend this company! I want thank the whole staff for my recent experience with them.I am very pleased with my car and the service they provided.Shout to Mr. Luis again he was the one I interacted the most. Dave in customer service really took good care of my car during the 2 visits I've had. He also showed pride & alot of confidence in his body repair team. I'd rate his service with 10 stars if I could. =)

Luis took absolutely special care of my rig. There was never any question about what was going on day in and day out. Any issue with insurance he handled and gave me the update. The love and care he put into my truck has made him part of my family. Thank you brother and to all those who assisted.

I have had two cars repaired here and couldn't be happier with the service. Kept me updated the whole time and even polished my headlights one time. Definitely coming here again in the future, hopefully I don't need it though.

I want to make sure my absolutely horrid experience with this body shop is known. To fix the damage pictured (small area of paint) they had my car for 33 DAYS. Yes, 33 days. Plus, the car is now showing error codes that they are unable to fix!The car was dropped off on 12/23/21 with what was to be a 5-day repair. They said maybe a day or two longer since it was the holidays, which I said was fine. After a week no call, 2 weeks later, still no call, I started to get worried and called multiple times with them saying their staff was sick, they needed to order new emblems, then that they messed up the paint and had to repaint it, excuse after excuse for 33 days. Miguel should have made a far better effort of keeping me informed instead of me calling him to try and figure out what was wrong.After 33 days to fix this scratch, they said the car was ready (1/27/22). I went and picked it up, and they said that they also scanned the car to ensure there were no errors codes. As soon as I start the car, 2 error codes showed up, so either the guy scanning was clueless or just lied and didn't do it.I told Miguel this and he said to come back another day to drop off the car so their tech can look at it since the tech is not in all the time. I called multiple times and the tech wasn't there. Then they said they wanted me to drop off the car for a few hours, I needed my car and said that would not be possible. They would not provide a rental car.So the lady that works in the front office told me that I should call each day to see if the tech is there (ridiculous). Finally, today (4/1/22) I was able to take my car there. They said they needed about 30 minutes to reset the light. After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting, Miguel said that they couldn't fix it.Then, he told me to take MORE TIME from the hours I've wasted at this shop to go to the dealer and have them diagnose it. He then also told me it was a low voltage code and that the battery was weak. So then, I go and buy a $100 battery, and the code is still there.Caliber Collision has no main "customer support" line either. I tried calling multiple times and there is no way to get into contact with their corporate office. So now, my car has 2 dash lights that wont go away. Please AVOID this shop!

Customer service throughout the repairs was incredible. Finished 12 days ahead of schedule, communicated thoroughly during the entire process and were polite and friendly! My 2014 Mazda 3 unironically looks better than it did before the accident. Paint is clear and bright, no orange peel or anything

This review is particular to the service I received from service advisor David Leyva. He was wonderful. My car was involved in an accident a few years back and repaired at Caliber Collision in Carlsbad. I did not have a particularly good experience back then, and there was a lingering problem with my car after the Carlsbad repair. I was hesitant to return to Caliber Collision, but finally needed to do so when the problem kept getting worse. David was the first advisor to make sure the issue was diagnosed and resolved correctly. He treated me with kindness and respect during each interaction, and went out of his way to make sure things worked out well.Service: Steering & suspension repair

David at Caliber Collision was extremely helpful!! As a single woman, there s always a worry that a shop might do more work and over charge etc. He really took care of me!! After a car had ran into my Jeep Dec 2021, Caliber repaired $13k of damage.About 6 months had passed and I had noticed something wasn t feeling right on the road. Without hesitation, David took my car and had it inspected. He even had to locate an extra mechanic. I don t even know if the problem was due to the accident damage they repaired. But, David fully took care of my car the same day. I was able to drive 35 miles to work right after. Thank you David at Caliber Collision! Called and went in after being rear ended and got greeted right away by David Perez. He made the whole situation feel seamless as he handled all the phone calls between my insurance and made sure my vehicle was repaired properly. When I received my vehicle I noticed that it looked just like when I bought it. Would highly this shop for any type of body repairs.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The marcos and tony dudes there are no good and the manager beth is worst .DONT GO THERE IF YOUR PANTS WHERE ON FIRE ..they would throw gas on u and say their estimates are fair ..

Dealing with a fender bender is never fun. But the professionals here did a great job from start to finish. Took my Prius in for repair work as a GEICO authorized repair center. David kept me informed throughout the entire process, and they were done 4 days before the estimated date given. Highly recommend them, and David was excellent to work with!Service: Body & Trim

Caliber took GREAT care of my car, and I'd recommend this location specifically to anyone needing auto repairs. In particular, Junior was extremely competent and professional. The work done on my car is flawless. Beyond that though, he communicated with me the entire time to let me know exactly where we were in the process. The repairs took longer than it would have in pre-COVID times, due to supply chain issues in ordering the parts, and labor shortages. Those issues are affecting almost all businesses these days, but Junior did his best to get everyone done as quickly as possible, and kept me informed throughout, so there were no surprises.Junior also totally went above and beyond to work with the GEICO insurance adjuster to get additional repairs covered as well - at 5pm on a Friday!! He explained everything to the adjuster, and because he was so proactive, she approved the additional work right away.I'd recommend this Caliber location, and Junior specifically, to anyone needing auto repairs!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I brought my car to the Caliber Collision location (5252 Lovelock St, San Diego) on 01/26/2023 for a bumper replacement. A week later, I was told that the car is ready for pickup. I went to the location and made the payment. When the car was brought to me, I noticed that the bumper was sticking out and was about to fall off.I informed the technician and after checking the car for ~30 mins, he informed me that they installed an "after-market" bumper which was not the correct size.I was told by the manager at that location to take my car and he would call to bring it back in the same week when the correct size bumper would arrive.It's been more than 2 months, I never received a call from them. I have called Caliber Collision several times myself and was NEVER able to get a hold of the manager.Until today March 26th (2 months later), I am still waiting on Caliber Collision to resolve this matter. The car is NOT useable because the bumper might fall off.Service: Body & Trim

Ask for David!!Anytime I call Caliber Collision, I immediately ask for David.Within Caliber Collision and in general, David has shown me some of the best customer service I have ever received. Throughout my repair process, David went above and beyond to create the easiest, fastest and most comfortable experience. He has been eager to answer any questions I have had whether big or small with a rapid response time and kept me updated through every step of the repairs, doing everything he possibly can to make the process as smooth as possible. Most of all, David truly has a kind heart and I knew from the beginning of the process I could completely trust him. I have never felt inclined enough to write a review ever before, so definitely take my word for it!!

Caliber did a fantastic job repairing my Honda CR-V after an accident. Shout out to my adviser David for tracking down a part that was hard to get due to supply chain issues. He actually had someone drive out to Van Nuys to pick it up for me. I was paying by the day for a rental car, so I was grateful that, David cared enough to go out of his way to get the needed part! Caliber Collision was the recommended shop through Geico following my accident. From the moment I arrived till my car was completed, the staff at Caliber have been amazing. I received weekly updates on the status of repairs. My insurance covered a rental for 30 days. I was rear-ended and I was worried about structural damage which was identified on their assessment too so the car took longer than initially expected but Caliber covered the additional days because it took longer than their initial estimated time. Jr was my point person there and he did a great job of keeping me in the loop and addressed any concerns I had. Even after my repairs were completed, I thought maybe the alignment was a little off so they took care of that too and provided me with a rental. The level of service was stellar throughout the whole process and I would recommend their services to anyone without hesitation. My car looks and drives just like before the accident. I hope I don't require their services again in the future, but if I do, I will definitely come back to Caliber Collision.I only have comparison for repairs like this one other time. I had only been in one accident prior to this and I had my repairs done through a dealership at that time and my experience was very different there. At the dealership, my repairs took longer without covering the additional time and the repairs at that time did not look as seamless as the job that Caliber did.

My service with Caliber was amazing. Junior was my mechnic and he did a great job at keeping me updated throughout the process. He was able to speed up the job and deliver it to me sooner than the expected day which I greatly appreciated. There was an issue after picking my car up the first time resulting in me having to return my car, but Junior took it back immediately and was able to have it fully repaired two days later. The service I recieved was outstanding and I would definitley recommend this shop/Junior to do your repairs if it ever becomes necessary.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
