These guys are awesome. Took my '03 QX4 in for a needed starter replacement, I bought the part myself and figured why not save the time and have a local shop do it, know any shop generally doesn't like doing customer supplied part jobs, nevertheless, gave me a very solid quote, couldn't say no, and after expecting 24-48 hrs to have my truck back, they called about 2.5 hours later saying job was complete, truck runs great, and here's your old starter. Stand-out auto shop experience. 5 Stars+.

I was just there few hours ago.I tried to fix a problem by myself days ago on the cooling system but the engine light was still coming up.I arrived there and one of the guys working there showed me that the problem was actually already fixed and after asking few questions he literally explained me in details everything.By far one of the most honest and professional repair shop I have ever been.Highly recommended!!!

We were recently traveling to San Diego for Thanksgiving and started experiencing car trouble. They were open the day after Thanksgiving and were able to check over and fix our car so we could start home on Saturday. They were friendly and customer service was great! I know very little about auto mechanics, Boulevard automotive, treated me well went beyond the call of duty to help me out in terms of finding parts for my car that were not readily available.They provided me with a courtesy car, they explained what was going on every step of the way..I am so very satisfied with the service, and the knowledge, and professionalism of the people shown to me in my second experience with them. My first experience, is what led to my second experience and is what will make me a faithful customer from this point forward.. really good people...

We happened upon this mechanic on accident when our out of town guests had car troubles. Now we're lifers! They have always provided exceptional customer service and go above and beyond! We can't say enough great things about this business!

As a woman who goes to mechanic shops, usually by myself, with no real knowledge about cars besides the very basics, I really appreciate Boulevard Automotive. I have been to this mechanic a few times now and as long as I am living in San Diego, I will not go to anyone else. The prices are extremely reasonable, I never feel like they are trying to push me into getting something that I don't need, and the customer service is exceptional. I honestly feel safe bringing my car here and comfortable with the staff. I recommend them to everyone I know!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

They replaced my rusted out tie rod, and they even showed me the rusty parts they removed after the fact.This place is extremely friendly, and to be honest, it caught me off guard at first. I wasn't sure if it was genuine or not, but they are good people.When I was deciding on the repair, they told me what their diagnosis was, so I was free to research the expected cost, the expected gain from the part replacement, etc. I didn't feel cornered at all.I plan on going here again for future repairs.

Owners are super friendly and courteous, and treat their customers like family. Prices are reasonable and service is good and professional. They even provide courtesy transportation which was very nice and super helpful. Not to mention the beautiful red rose:)

A bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Extremely professional, up front and honest with repair costs and timelines, an all around great experience. I thought my 20 year old sedan was ready to be sent to the junkyard. They brought my car back like Frankenstein and its been running 5+ years since the repair. Highly recommend. Our car died in La Jolla so we called AAA. They referred us here and we were anxious being from Tucson and needing to get home. They couldn t have been better. Anthony called me 3 times with updates on the vehicle s progress. If we lived here they would definitely be our mechanic of choice! They offered me a burger and hot dog for lunch; guess they do that on Fridays for their clients!! We appreciate your speed, honesty, and professionalism in what was a challenging situation for us. I can t trust them. They over charged me by $600 on the original quote. I had to take the vehicle some where else because they forgot to tighten the brake rotors down and was making crazy noise. They didn t test drive it obviously. Other mechanic said this was crazy and dangerous. Careful here!! I DO NOT recommend this place!!!Service: Auto brake replacementService: Auto brake replacement

This place is a complete rip off. I was towed here by AAA when my tie rod disconnected on the passenger side of my vehicle, I listened to the tow driver who said it s AAA rated and he knows the guys who work here. After dropping off my car they texted me a few hours later giving me the estimate for inner and outer tie rods replacements on both sides - an estimate of $896. I called meineke to ask for a second quote and the mechanic laughed and said that s a ridiculous price to replace them, and there s no reason it should cost $900 unless there s more wrong with the car. When I questioned boulevard automotive they were reluctant to give me an exact breakdown of the pricing so I told them I m getting my car towed elsewhere. They didn t even try to explain over the phone the reason why it costs what they re quoting. When I was in person they gave me a different price breakdown for $750 (they had removed one of the inner tie rods from the quote to make it look cheaper) and quoted $399 for labor. Absolutely ridiculous labor costs (granted I m a 25 year old woman and they seemed very caught off guard that I questioned them at all). I towed my car to meineke and got both inner and outer tie rods replaced on both sides for $600 total and a much more honest experience. These guys are rip offs, I would not trust them to give you an honest quote. Also the AAA discount the tow truck driver advertised was 20% off but in reality it was 10% off up to a max of $50, so definitely not worth it.

I had a great experience at this service center. Being from out of town I didn t know where to go and this place turned out to be ideal. They ended up giving me a great price on what needed to be fixed and did it in only about 3 hours. They were extremely friendly (to my dogs as well - they got treats) and I felt very comfortable having taken my vehicle there. I would go back if I m in the area again!

These guys are a little pricey but they're always very honest and do good work that they warranty. Sometimes you have to pay a little more to get it done right.

Scam artists!! I could go on but all I need to say is they charged me $674 to replace a spark plug and a coil!! I'll add more after I consult the BBB!!

Was recommended to visit their shop by AAA and multiple friends of mine. Stopped in to get my battery replaced and for a general check up, they were honest about what needed to be fixed, timely with their work, fair with pricing, and accommodating and friendly. Will definitely return in the future, but hopefully not in the near future.

I had a great experience with Richard and Boulevard Automotive. My car was at a place where I wasn't sure if it was going to be drivable any longer. Richard recommended a service and got the car up and running again, saving me from scrapping the car and being out thousands of dollars. I found his in-depth knowledge and willingness to try to help a welcome difference from blanket diagnoses that I've received from other places in the past. On the whole, I felt taken care of and I will continue to return to Boulevard Automotive for future car care needs. Thank you!

I'm very pleased with all the work I have had done with Boulevard. They have worked on two of my previous cars (BMW --325i and Lexus -- RX300), and I will continue using their service with my new car (Lexus RX350). I have also recommended them to family and friends, and they have all been very happy with their service and prices.

This place is literally scamming, qouted me 771 for a break booster with break flush then charged me extra for the break flush when i showed up and said they would keep my car if i didnt pay. literally while they were telling me this they were overcharrging the lady next to me and she said thats not what you qouted me on the phone. This place is not to be trusted.

I've been very satisfied with the work they have done on my Mustang. Always top notch, whether it's a brake job or suspension work. They are also honest, something that is not always the case with automobile repair shops.

The guys here are great. I had what I thought were dead rats in my engine creating a HORRIBLE smell. I felt so bad for all the guys working on my car cause it was just revolting. These guys took apart my car and it turns out...drumroll...it was a double pack of whole chicken from Costco that had rolled under the back seat. I had looked for that chicken four times after my Costco visit and finally decided I must have left it in the cart. Anyway, the guys at Boulevard were determined to get the smell out and tried everything from fumigating to bringing in a detailer. They made a pretty RANK situation not so bad.Service: Auto detailing

Trusting a mechanic is everything to me. Not only do I trust them...I trust their workmanship when they have my car. They always go above and beyond in making my repair a hassle free experience and I always appreciate it:) Not only that...they are friendly and funny and I enjoy coming in to see them when I need to get something done.

Trustworthy! This was my third repair over past couple years. Saad the mgr. has always been very helpful, professional ,and kind., Very Efficient service especially during COVID. (everyone wore a mask) All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. always willing to answer any question you may have. Rarely do you find an Auto shop that you look forward returning to but I have had nothing but great experiences with Blvd. They have a friendly helpful staff and they always offer great prices and discounts regardless of whether the coupon is multiple years expired. They also always provide free coffee, free carwash, fruit, flowers, tooth brushes, led light keychains and all sorts of good stuff. They also will provide you with transportation. I will continue to recommend this business to all.
