I want to take this moment to Thank Ryan and Peter @ BimmerSpeed for outstanding customer service on my 1990 BMW 525I . I had a chronic high temp coolant issue that I could not resolve after over a year of service at my dealership..I came to their shop last week as a first time customer. They meet with me to assess my issues and were confident of the root causes. From last Friday, 09 FEB to this Tuesday, 13 FEB they determined the problem was worn Clutch Fan and fairly new radiator was clogged after troubleshooting the entire coolant system.Ryan was able to source a new radiator assy, thermostat and replace front rotor assemblies due to warping within 2 days for me to pick up.The team @ BimmerSpeed is hard working, enjoy servicing Classic and later model BMWs. There technical expertise is apparent as former BMW dealer professionalsI am pleased i was able to locate them online and can say they provide quality service and fair pricing.I highly recommend seeking them out for those of us who have 20 plus year old BMWs and want to keep them on the road.

Came here to have a newly purchased BMW X3 inspected and they did an amazing job. They explained everything line by and line, and gave recommendations on what kind of BMW would be best for us... because it wasn't this one! If not for them, we may have been out a ton of money with this purchase. They saved us a huge headache. When we purchase a different car, we will absolutely be back. Super late on this review but I cannot recommend these guys enough for anything BMW service wise. I had a short in my dash cluster which was causing my battery to stay on at night. They diagnosed it, had the part shipped in and fixed within a reasonable time frame, and at a totally fair price compared to what BMW dealers would charge. They even fully detailed my car inside and out before I came and picked up! 10/10 would recommend this to anyone needing services done.Service: Electrical

Ok well can't really review them, sent an email as instructed got a reply saying got your email, then NOTHING. so nothing to review because nothing happened. but don't worry I found services elsewhere( a phone call would have faster and easer) apparently I have to give them 1 star out of necessity to complete this review but its still really A ZERO. good luck all

It is true, the 5 starts.....I finally found a place that seems to care. Peter was great, answer all my questions over the phone and he took the time to go over all the details about my visit. It is just great to take my cars to a real car enthusiast.I used to take my BMWs to the dealership but I just got tried with all the corporate BS.... Way overpriced, a ton of promises and always under delivering.I just love the attention to detail BMW puts into the cars and it is great to find a shop that really cares about what matters, good customer service, forward explanations, and no BS. I just dont care about the overpaid or fancy car "adviser" at the dealership. I only care about keeping my car in shape.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Ryan and Peter are the best, always willing to help and extremely knowledgeable. They helped me out in a difficult situation with my car and very much appreciate their support with my project. Come here for all your regular work and especially if you like to build a proper race car, I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Best go-to for BMW ServiceFrom outstanding prices to high quality of service to quick turn around to being there for you when you need to reach out to them for service questions, Bimmerspeed has been the best indie shop we ve worked with; compared to 6 other shops from Hawai i to Rhode Island to Virginia to New Jersey. I would trust the guys at Bimmerspeed with anything you need to do and needless to say, we ll be back the next time we are in San Diego. 5 stars well-deserved.

If all mechanic shops were like these guys life would be a lot easier for all of us :) I called and spoke with Ryan he quickly gave an estimate on the repair of charge pipe that was blown off on my 2014 Bmw 435i. Estimate was fair and they were able to get me in the same day and even tho it was almost the end of the day for them. He suggested Bmw original part and they got it installed in about an hour, and not just that they had an issue come up during the repair that they took care of at no additional cost. It is my first Bmw and Ryan took the time to educate me and my wife and what to expect and how to take care of the car to make it run with less faults. Ryan was awesome and I felt like the whole crew had fun working there. They are very reasonably priced, all certified and knowledgeable and care to make sure you car is running well. They are passionate about what they do and you can tell in the quality of their work. Highly recommend and actually excited to take it back when the schedule maintenance comes.PS when you drive there entrance is at the back of the building so don t be surprised- you are in the right spot when google maps takes you there.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Took my 2010 BMW X5 in because the wiring around the fuel pump had melted. Peter helped me over the phone and knew right away what the issue was. When I got there, he was very helpful and professional and confirmed the problem with me. Not only was the repair finished in a few hours, but the prices were unbeatable. Great independent BMW shop. I bought a car locally and the headlight suddenly went out. They were able squeeze me on to the schedule, source new placement parts and install them in less than a day. Would definitely recommend for bmw repair. Hands down, the best shop I have taken my car to. This place is a no B.S, honest, hard working, professional shop. I took my car all the way to Bimmerspeed in San Diego from Portland OR because I have heard of the quality coming out of this shop. Ryan absolutely knows what he is talking about and can back it up 100%. If you have a BMW, this shop is the only shop to take your car. 10/10, 5 stars, two thumbs up. Thank you Bimmerspeed!

Thies guys know what they are doing.Kind of pricey but you get what you pay for. I will definitely be returning to this place for any repairs to my BMW.they also work on race cars and looks like they build them to.My car was in amd out in about a week and had extensive repairs.So rating them would be 5 stars all the way!!!

Made the right choice by coming to BimmerSpeed with my 2006 3-series. Ryan and his main tech deserve their high rating. I had a planned budget for my recently purchased car and they ensured I would get more than my money s worth by performing needed services together to save me on labor costs. A malfunction light was also quickly scanned using their tool and I was given a written estimate for the service and also a planned service schedule for other routine maintenance for a BMW approaching the mileage/age of my vehicle. Trust them to get your BMW up to speed

Support your local small business and go to Bimmerspeedsd! Both owners were extremely helpful in answering my questions. Both are extremely knowledgeable with my vehicle. They gave me great tips to take care of my car with regular maintenance and what is still covered under my warranty. Absolutely trustworthy!

Awesome shop! Ryan knows his stuff about E36s, he builds and race cars. He knows all the idiosyncrasies of them. He is one of very few people I would trust working on my car. Super helpful!

Been to a few BMW shops in the area and this by far is the best. Peter was awesome at explaining the items my vehicle needed and why. No fluff here. This is my new BMW shop and if you are taking your BMW anywhere, this should be the spot.

I discovered a coolant leak while stopped nearby during my travels. They got me right in, pressure-tested the system, and found a loose hose clamp in a hard-to-see spot... probably from a previous repair that was not properly completed.They also did a quick inspection and found my serpentine belts were past their prime.Quick, reasonably-priced repair got me back on the road in less than an hour!

These guys truly care about BMW's. I have only been here a few times but now I won't go anywhere else. Last time I went in I had a Xmas tree of lights of my dash panel. When I returned later that day every tiny problem had been solved.
