Nowadays most people hate their job, and want to show up for a free check and do the bare minimum. Bear Tires was a great experience for me. As soon as I pulled up, there was someone to greet me outside, and asked me for assistance with their services. The staff was knowledgeable/friendly, everyone looked in a great mood, and seemed like a great work environment. So props to management on having a solid team and keeping morale up. Don t care that I live 45 mins away, I will continue coming!

I found this shop by searching on Google and seeing their good reviews. They are a team of professionals who know how to deal with their customers. They quickly responded to my needs, even though I did not have an appointment. They explained what needed to be fixed, and when they fixed my tire, they explained how I need to monitor the repair, and if the issue appears again, I can come back. I highly recommend this shop for your future tire repair and purchase needs.

My run flat tires were sold to me and installed by Bear Tires a couple of months ago without drama, upselling or complication. Could not be happier. Price was bottom line fair and we were happy to pay for the fast and successful service.

I take both our cars there and their customer service is always top notch. Last weekend, one of my new tires I put in just over a month ago experienced a loss of air. I took it in and they discovered a nail puncture on the side of the tire that made it unrepairable. Because it was new, they replaced the tire for free just charging me for the labor. That type of customer service has won them my business for the long run.

I Got a flat tire on my rental car,Im not from San Diego so searching on google maps I found Bears Tires, I read so many good reviews about them that I went to try it. I can tell that is true 100%. This guys are prob the best tire shop I ever been. Thank You Bears guys You got me rolling in no time.

I went here twice to get a flat resolved (with a couple years in-between). Both times the experience was great: they took care of it right away, fixed it properly, and the price was good.

These guys are awesome. Before mounting tires they checked the balance of the new wheels and EVERY wheel was bent. Plus they didn't fit due to my BBK so that was another issue I was unaware of. These guys saved me so much time and hassle. Will definitely buy here again.

Just got my tires replaced this morning. This is the first time that I have used Bear and the experience was great. I was quickly taken care of and was out within 1 hr (I was number 5 inline at 8:30). I definitely will be using you guys again. So far the ride home was very smooth.Your guys were honest regarding in doing a free alignment test and a slight alignment issue. I really appreciate that.

Had brand new car. one tire got a hole close to side wall but not exact. Discount tires wouldn t help. Bears tire did for me without any problems in less than an hour.

I recently purchased a set of 4 Continental DWS 06+ for my 2021 Mazda 3 from Bear s Tires.The employee on the phone answered all of my questions regarding sizing, brand differences, and inventory/shipping speed. They are VERY resourceful and knowledgeable. The tires showed up in 2 days, and they called me to notify me right away.When the tires showed up, I had them take my current wheels (with tires) off, take out the TPMS, and mount them in a new set of aftermarket rims with the new tires. The job was done in a bit longer than an hour and this was on a Saturday too.The install was pretty much perfect save for a finicky TPMS sensor. I actually circled back to Bear s after a week to have them take a look - they took me in at the end of the day on a weekday to scan, dismount, reseat, and re-install the entire problematic wheel.This was my first time with Bear s and they went above and beyond to take care of me. They are friendly, communicative, and dependable.

Got in at 10:30 with several people in front of me, out by 11:30. Friendly, hard working, and they didn t even charge me for a tire patch. Definitely the only place I ll ever go to for tires in SD

Bear s tire my go to for all my tire needs. They are communicative, friendly, and quality driven. The owner Mike is fantastic, when my tires came late (tires which are difficult to find) he proactively helped me communicate with the distributor, getting me a separate set as soon as possible. Despite the tires arriving later than I initially expected, Mike called me and kept me updated throughout the entire process. His proactive and communicative attitude was stellar and made up for the late arrival of the tires. The techs at the shop are also knowledgeable and take good care of the rims. I really recommend this shop, and Mike who knows how to run a business and keep his customers coming back for years to come.

I've been coming here for new tires, tire rotations, and tire patch repairs. They do a great job every single time and have fast, efficient service on top of competitive prices. Will definitely be back.

I drive a BMW M3 and often need help with tire related things because I track the car and drive it hard. Manny and his team are fantastic. Really respectful, not just to me but also to my car. Which I REALLY appreciate. I will be back for sure when my tires are ready for replacement. Give Bears a chance, they're great!

Best prices in San Diego and best knowledge about tires! These guys back all the tires they sell and even offer todo free tire rotation! This is my Subaru weighed down on 150 mike dirt road stretch with lots of rocks and sand and little ruts... no problems!

I've been going here for a couple of years now. They are faster, cheaper, and more flexible on rules than the competitors. Yesterday I found my car had a nail in the tire. Since it was so late in the day I had to try another shop to see if I could get it fixed and they told me my tire was not repairable but when I went back to Bears Tires the next day they were able to fix it for free saving me time and money. I even had a tire ready in the trunk for replacement so if they wanted to make some money they could have just lied and said it wasn't repairable. Finding an honest tire shop is worth its weight in gold!

Brought my car in for a flat tire repair. Tire was fixed within 40 minutes and customer service was outstanding. Will definitely be back when I need new tires.

I almost never write reviews but... I had a nail in my tire, so I went to Discount Tire, where I had purchased the set from a couple years ago. The DT guy told me the nail was too close to the sidewall and not repairable, and since the tires are a couple years old I probably should replace both of the fronts for $450. Then I took it to Bears, where the guy immediately came out to look at the tire with me, and said it was borderline but could possibly be repaired depending on the angle the nail went in. If not, replacing the single tire would be fine given the relatively low wear (and the price for the same tire was about $20 less than DT's quote). Well, they were able to patch it, then they handed me the keys and told me to have a nice day. I was like, wait...there's no charge?? They said, nope! Both people I talked to were so friendly and the service I received was amazing. Won't go anywhere else for tires from now on!

Great service. My car pressure tire was low so I looked around and asked someone else. This gentleman recommends me to go to the Bear Tires on Carrol road. The service was quick and they took out the nail without charging anything. I will always remember their courtesy and service for ever!

Can't say enough good things about this place. We've had 5 cars plus my kids' cars and have been getting our tires here. It's no nonsense straight up tires. No frills. Just good old fashioned hard working guys with quality work and always willing to help.One time my car tire alert went off and I KNEW it wasn't the tires so I dropped in and they double checked to make sure I didn't have a nail or a flat (I have run flats). They took a look, added a little more air, reset my dashboard and off I went.Just ordered new tires again and glad they're still around!

Great tire shop. They're not trying to sell you anything else except tires, and that's what I appreciates about them.
