I would give a -1 stars if I could. The owner, said that I needed a repair to fix my automobile that would correct the problem. He charged over $700 and the car ran for 10 minutes and stopped. I had the car towed back to his shop to correct it. He argued with me stating he told me that the fix may not work and refused to refund my money and wanted me to pay over $3,000 to replace the engine which he now says was always the problem. He is a scam mechanic and his license are no longer valid. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. He is unqualified, unethical and disingenuous and will only take your money!!!

Can I give this place a 0 star I would !!!The most unpleasant experience ever!And they are not even ashamed.My tire blown away on a freeway and I didn't even know about this place, guy who tow my car said to me "you should check your car as well thru this guy I know he will not charge you a lot" so we go there guy looking at me and my car and saying after probably 30 seconds 3000$ my face was like ,I started laughing I asked for what he is like trying bull$itting me for this and that...and of course i said NO to him right there in front of everyone. And when i said i dont want pay that much money i will see what i am going to do, he is like "Ok, now give me 200$ for a diagnostic for your car" i just couldn't believe it that these people working on other people's car.I take care of the thing and didnt gave him anything, this place is a disaster especially for people who dont know anything about cars and their own vehicle. Good thing I know well this kind of people and PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO AT THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!!!!Thank me later :)) Good luck !

This past Tuesday Dec, 26 I had my 2011 Ford Flex towed in because it had over heated. After waiting a few hours I was told that it had suffered a blown head gasket. After making a few phone calls I had towed to a mechanic in OC where I was advised it was only a failed water pump. The price I ended up paying for the repair was almost $3000 less than I was quoted at BAAA. I feel lucky that I only walked away leaving $220 there. I will gladly share the completed repair invoice

a few months ago i had a blown transmission, i had brought it in for a replacement but before my transmission replacement my cars electrical was fine, when i had got the cars transmission fixed they had notified me that my alternator was bad, (which i had tested it before getting a new one and it passed on multiple machines coming out to 14v) but continued to replace it, i still had my electrical problem, then replaced the battery 3 times, then replaced the starter and still the same problem. after replacing my alternator they said that they would be able to fix it and then proceeded to give me a quote and told them that im not paying for anything for something they screwed up onService: Transmission

I have an old VW bus that recently broke down. The tow truck driver recommended this shop as most shops won't work on old VW's. I couldn't have been happier with the price and service. Very friendly and knowledgeable techs. I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews but my experience was very positive. It's a large shop with lots of cars being serviced, so at first glance it may look a bit disorganized with tools and parts laying around. But don't let that fool you. They were very busy but took time to greet me and go over the repairs. It's not very close to where I live but we'll worth the drive. This is my new go to shop if I have any future problems with my bus.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Had some electrical issues with the car, came out a bit pricey, but i understand labor hours is most of that, however there are some minor things inside the car that they broke and didn't even discuss with me, like breaking the charging adapter AND the port I use for my charger. They also broke the small compartment on the left side of the steering wheel and just left it loosely hanging. Somehow the blinker light doesn t turn off automatically, and the AC hasn t worked since i picked up the car. I understand accidents happen but I would ve appreciated a heads up or an apology.

Asked to have a used vehicle that I was considering buying inspected about 1.5 hours after my call. He arrived exactly on time as expected and was even willing to wait about 20 minutes while I came back from a test drive of the vehicle. Was very courteous, and the service was very reasonably priced for the convenience. Also gave excellent advice on the used vehicle in question. I ended up not purchasing the vehicle after hearing his opinion and I could not be happier with his professionalism and candor.

Charged $855 for a rebuilt starter for a Toyota Corolla. I was towed to them by referral from the AAA tow driver. Upon review this shop is not even recommended at all by AAA on their web page for the Miramar area. The starter failed 21 days later and had to be replaced by my local mechanic. Had to be towed a second time. I contacted BAAA and the owner was very beligerent and challenging. I contacted AAA as well to inform them of the tow driver making referrals to this place in their name.Service: Electrical

PLEASE READ FOR YOUR SAFETY. I did not use this shop, but I am at least the second person on Yelp to have my vehicle struck by one of his UNINSURED AND UNREGISTERED loaner vehicles. I know this because SDPD ran plates at the scene and they had to go through a series of phone calls to get insurance information which I later found out was incorrect. Plates expired by 2 years.Fadi denied to both me and my insurance that he loans vehicles, so when I tried speaking with him he ignored my questions and told me to use my own insurance for repairs. Ultimately, he got loud and upset, demanding that I never contact him again. I was relieved to find someone else with a similar review about this shop loaning vehicles despite Fadi claiming that he doesn't.I ask that everyone takes the negative reviews into account before considering this shop. This shop does not sit right with me in the least after looking at other reviews confirming the anger and headaches as a product of this shop's negligence and deceit. They are run by cowards and snakes.

I have been going to Faadi in Clairemont and now in Miramar for about 4 yrs now. He is honest, fast and knowledgeable. I have gotten my batteries replaced (at work), oil changes, fixed brake lights over the years here at very reasonable prices and with no compromise on quality. Highly recommend Faadi !

Without a doubt one of the best mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.They went out of their way to help me, and they fixed the AC in my car in a few hours, as promised and they delivered!Will never go anywhere else from now on!

Everybody was really nice! I was in and out in about an hour and the price was very affordable. They made sure to call around to several part shops in order to get me the best price on the part I needed. I'll definitely go back!
