terrible service.i bought coolant, oil and filter to do maintenance and asked if i needed any special tool to change the filter. the guy told me no BUT I DO need a special filter wrench (64mm). so now i have an empty crankcase but cannot remove the filter.also, you take used oil but NOT used coolant?!this is the last time i buy from auto zone.

Tried to return melling lifters that I purchased from autozone online. I never installed them as I ended up needing to get rod, rockers, so i got a complete valve train kit that had lifters. The uneducated employee Manny said that my new melling lifters look used because they had oil on them. Lol. I asked him where are the markes on the rollers from the camshaft then...??? Iv been a mechanic for 25 yrs..Lifters are manufactured and tested before being sold. This is to ensure that they are working and lifting to the proper spec. No answer or brain activity...He tried to say I needed to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager. I said where's the manager, he pauses and tells me he's on the phone. Why is he having me come back tomorrow then? Then he tells me he's done talking to me. Unprofessional and rude staff especially Manny.

Osvaldo & Tyler we re both tremendous help when I stopped by the store to get my Toyota Matrix 2005 battery replaced as well as get parts for a hitch to tow a trailer.Osvaldo helped me remove my battery and install the new one with ease. Knowledgeable, excellent customer service & extremely helpful.Hope your career in software engineering takes off!Tyler was also super helpful with helping me figure out my electrical wiring, hitch receiver & ball mount situation.Great store location with amazing customer service!

Lots of confusion at the register , been a few weeks the code reader is missing and they still keep like this, no tolls to rent out ...and stock is ridiculous. One of the worst AutoZone been to. Back to my old o rai!

We had the check engine light come on on our way to San Diego. Noah let me scan my car and came up with the issue. He then got me my parts and saw my shirt, giving me a veteran discount. Then, to go above and beyond since he knew my family was on vacation, he said go ahead and fix it in the parking lot. Then he went even more above and beyond and said if we needed to borrow tools, just let him know, and it wouldn't be a problem. THAT is customer service. Noah and his team made me feel like we lived there even though we were hundreds of miles from home! A truly unforgettable experience, thank you Noah and team for making our vacation stress-free!

Dead battery at the beach. Got a jump. Drove directly to auto zone and Noah the service technician was helpful in testing the battery. Determined it needed replaced. Noah then installed the new battery and then back to the beach. Noah was awesome. Thanks for the excellent service

The worst customer service in San Diego. Poor thing about this franchise that doesn't inspect its employees. Simply, even though I am within all the requirements for returning some items I bought less than 2 weeks ago, with proof within my Rewards and the debit in my bank account, they refused to return the items or even give me in credit. Rude clerk!I don't even recommend it to enemies. Even Walmart is much better. Worth the effort.We have more better ones:- O'Reilly Auto Parts- Advance Auto Parts- Pep Boys- Walmart21st century where companies are struggling with their nails to win new customers and retain the ones they already have, franchises do not know what clerks without training and knowledge are doing. The last one to leave, turn off the light in this store in Point Loma.

Was having issues qith my old battery. Went to this store. Xavier tested my battery foundcit bad. Found correct battery and on my way in 10 minites. Friendly knowleible and. Customer friend�y young man

Came to get a new battery for our car. It was dead dead and we didn t have the tools to be able to change it ourselves. Manny offered to help us. He was very kind about the situation, gave great customer service, and went out of his way to help. Thank you for saving us and making our night, Manny!! It s those acts of service that matter :)

The auto zone employees were all great friendly welcomed me when I walked I. Guided me to windshield wipers found them and he also installed one after I purchased reasonable price Also got tire cleaner see how this works. Overall great experience

Helpful associate ready to greet me at the door and help me get what I was looking for. A much larger location than the OB location so more selection and variety.I saw a worker replacing a battery of a woman s car outside, they look committed and helpful all around.

Too many vagrants. The staff are soooo inundated by the nearby tent city encampment (350+unsheltered) that customer service at this location is absolutely apathetic. If you know exactly what you want and exactly where it's located, then you'll be okay. However, if you need help and guidance?--go to another location. Overall, a miserable visit and please guard any valuables in your vehicle. I even mentioned the poor service to staff: "You folks must deal with a lot of issues here?" All the workeres went off like Bank burglar-alarms with horror stories of vandalism and mentally ill miscreants. I feel for the businesses in this area. Just go elsewhere.

I went to this AutoZone for a new battery first thing in the morning on 12/3. I don t know the associates name who helped me, but he was fantastic! Such positive energy and so incredibly helpful. He even put the new battery in for me and walked me through all potential roadblocks and battery options. Highly recommend this location!This wasn t my first time having a great experience here... anytime I go there everyone is super helpful and honest.

My car wouldn't start this morning so I had to jump it and get to the closest auto shop. The team at AutoZone was extremely helpful, didn't try to upsell me, and installed the battery in my car. I was in and out way faster than I expected. Would highly recommend this AutoZone and I will return here for anything I need for my car in the future.

I went to get products for my car damage today, and probs the manager (in the grey) was fantastic. We didnt know what to get at first, but we left the shop with nothing but a huge relief and satisfaction. Didnt catch the name of the employee, but everyone there were super helpful and friendly!!

Great people, had the inventory I needed. Came there with a dead battery, got it fixed and replaced in record time.Turned me into a lifetime customer with this kind of great experience.Bravo to the team and managers!!

Vacation savers! Visiting from out of town and sure enough second day the car battery died! I looked at the reviews and saw someone mentioned they did free testing on the battery and alternator. Got a jump and drove down to the location. The young man at the counter was friendly and helpful and I explained my delema and he got right to work. Went out side and checked the battery for me and it was just about dead. He gave me a list of options on th computer and I didn't feel pressured to buy the most expensive battery and they had a lower price item that still came with a warranty. After purchasing I remembered I had no tools with me and the associate said no problem and he helped me install the battery! So thankful for the great customer service and easiness of the transaction. Enjoyed the rest of my trip and got home thanks to them!

Noah won't honor your policy to purchase batteries. He also decided he wanted to be very argumentative. I checked your website again and it still says you buy batteries but he insists you do not. Also very very rude. Never coming to this location again. Almost spent $3000 here too.

You know this is the closest AutoZone to my house downtown SD bracelets valley in what I saw is AutoZone's they're all great from downtown spring valley Southeast Diego and South county they're all amazing AutoZones all friendly all great help and they all knowledgeable work

Had a problem with my battery this morning stop by to autozone and Tryruis B helping me was the best customer service I got in years! Didn't try to upsell or get me to buy another battery knows about the cars too! Definitely coming back to this Auto Zone.
