**2 year update**A bit over 2 years later, the car looks a lot different but the tint looks exactly the same which -if you don't know tint- is exactly what you want. Excellent work and excellent product!****Original Review**Absolutely fantastic experience; tinted 6 windows + windshield strip with 20% Pearl Black ceramic film. Took a bit longer than expected, but listen: tint is finicky (I know, I've done it myself on a majority of my vehicles), and I'd MUCH rather a company take the time to do it right than try to rush through it. End product looks amazing, employees are friendly and knowledgeable, and total cost was significantly less than I was expecting, with a lifetime warranty too... win/win all the way around. Discussion with Martin after it was done really made it clear that these guys actually *care* about their work, so whether you're getting the cheapest tint or the most expensive, whether you drive a Rolls or a Rio... if you want your end result to be as good as it can possibly be, this is the place to go.Services: Sun control window tinting, Privacy window films, Heat control window films, Vehicle window tinting

After researching different brands of window tints, I chose Llumar IRX. Martin was nice and professional. If you've done your research, at the end of day it's the installers not the brand that made the difference. I'm super happy with the quality and it makes a night and day difference especially for us in San Diego!

Martin/Alvin up front is friendly and quick to help you with your needs. He will happily give you a quick consultation and what his recommendation for window tint depending on your needs. They offer a good amount of different tint percentages from non-ceramic to ceramic tint and explain the differences to help make your decisions. Turn around time was about 2 hours and I'm extremely happy with the results from dealing with a fish bowl to getting tinted. There's a reason why they have a good rating! They offer other services like headlight restoration, window replacement, window repairs. I would highly recommend this place for any window needs!Price is unbeatable compared to other location that use the same brands. Took my van there for nano ceramic tint all around. They carry Llumar IRX and Air80 high quality nano ceramic tint and charge a reasonable rate compared to other shops that carry the Llumar line. Not all tints are created equal and doing research Llumar is the best. My van looks great and it stays cool even in the heat.I also brought my Honda Accord for a tint correction (done by a previous shop in LA 10 years ago) on the rear window. I did however find some bubbles 5 days post application of the tint correction. Gave them a call to get it fixed. They asked for photos and scheduled a correction for those as well. They ended up redoing the whole tint correction for free. I would take all my cars here for any tint work and refer all friends and family to this shop.

Edit 7/22/23: Came back here due to my quarter window literally flying off on the freeway. As from the previous review a few years ago, they are amazing at their job. They found a quarter window replacement and reinstalled the same tint all for an amazing price. You guys are the best!2021: Great service! They will help you with all your needs ranging from a new window replacement to getting window tint and other things like like chip repair and headlight restoration. Definitely would recommend place ! Ask for Martin and he'll take care of all your questions and needs!

Just got a new EV but because they were in short supply I couldn't get it pretty tinted. Found this place on Google. They did not disappoint!! They were great to work with even after I totally forgot my appointment. The rescheduled me right away for the same day. I think the nice gentleman even stayed late to get it doneI felt the price was great for the quality level of tint I chose. It looks fantastic and I'm very happy. Quality work done by the pros at AMB. These guys took the time to show me the various percentages in person and do a comparison against my vehicle to get a good idea of what percentage I would like the best. I am more of a physical guy so this extra step on their part really made my decision making easy. They showed me the different percentage options available. l got me a clear UV front windshield film that would protect my dashboard from sun damage (NOT a tint) and needless to say, my car looks ill af and I could not be happier. I trust AMB and their quality work speaks for itself.

Martin and his team did a wonderful job on my new car. I've never tinted a car of mine before and had some (probably) pretty stupid questions, but Martin explained things easily and made the process very simple. He also managed to accomodate me and my schedule as giving up my car for a day would be a challenge because of my work schedule. He was able to complete my car in less than 5 hours from the time I dropped the car off to the time I picked it up. Very fast and high quality work. Martin spent the time to email back and forth on the different options. Once we arrived he walked us through what it would look like to ensure we chose what we wanted. I highly recommend them, and can t wait to bring our next vehicle to them!

MY CAR LOOKS AMAZING!!!! THANK YOU ALVIN & MARTIN!!!Sooo sooo happy I came here. Best customer service you could ask for and excellent quality, pricing, and time to complete. Waiting in their lounge was a pleasure! Free drinks and WiFi and comfy seating! I will be sending them any and all business for tinting!! My car looks and feels like I just went into the dealership and came out with an upgraded luxury model.

We had our windows tinted using AMB. When we first were looking for a place and getting quotes, they were one of the only places to respond. I went in to speak with them before scheduling an appointment. They were incredibly polite, helpful, and really excelled in customer service. Informed me of the product warranty, so I knew it was a quality product and if bubbles or issues ever occur anywhere in the nation, it will be fixed. I scheduled my appointment and they were once again amazing when I dropped off. The tinting was completed in a very timely fashion and looked amazing!!!Service: Vehicle window tinting

Had my car tinted and also windshield replaced here at a very reasonable price compared to what other people quoted me. Very nice people Alvin and Martin were awesome and had me in and out in about 3 hours. They also have a nice waiting where you can relax and watch Netflix if you need. They also have WiFi which another thing that makes this business greatThank you guys

Above and beyond across the board. I am still thrilled with my windows 2 years later and am sending my friend to get his new car windows tinted tomorrow. The guy helping me said it was the best money he d spent, which seemed like a bold statement at the time but I think I might have to agree. San Diego is beautiful but it sunny. Had a great experience with this shop. Staff was able to get me in same day for a rear window replacement and tint. Their estimate was less than other shops I called. Staff was professional in my interaction with them, and the outcome of their service was top notch. Best outcome after someone smashed my rear window. Would recommend.

Stopped by on a whim because i had wanted to get my windows tinted for a while. I was in the area and thought id stop by and get a quote along with some examples of tint. Thinking id set up an appointment for later that week.. They gave me a way cheaper quote than i expected and were able to do it that day!! great service and highly recommended!Service: Vehicle window tinting

Recently had my ceramic tint done by AMB. Martin was my contact, and he was very knowledgeable on his product and service. Tint looks great and seems to keep my car quite a bit cooler with the ceramic tint. They also cleaned up my headlights that were a bit hazy. The headlights came out great as well. He assured me that they also apply a clear coat to the headlights so they will be clear for a long time, and not just haze up again in the next few months. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a tint done to a vehicle. I've brought 3 vehicles here ranging from a car, suv and truck (been coming back with ceramic tint install). To my amaze, it was done very quick and great install as always. 3 times says a lot and they use top quality ceramic tint. They showed me a meter that measures the UV that comes in between stock window and with tint, and I was astonished with the result. They are very accommodating and very professional. Great service. I am very pleased overall.To Mr. Alvin and Mr. Martin, thank you so much guys and you guys rock \w/. Much appreciated.

Went to get my car re-tinted and very happy with the outcome. Price was fair and they provided quality work. Excellent customer service, too. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Martin is the best!! Wife got a new white Tesla Model 3 and wanted all the sides and that humongous rear hatch glass tinted at the best place in San Diego. Did tons of research and inquired to about 10 places and AMB was one of the few places where their reviews on Google, Facebook and Yelp were top notch whereas other tint shops would have good reviews on one site and not so good on the other. I sent AMB a message on their website on the page with lots of good info and pics on particularly Tesla car tinting. Within a few hours, Martin sent me a clear detailed pricing breakdown and what brand of tint film and features you can get in the email. They use industry leading brand by the way manufactured by Eastman which the company has been around for over 100 years and it s super high quality tint film at a very reasonable price from AMB. Other tint shops replied back asking for me to call them or their prices were much higher. What s the point of messaging if they want me to call them I thought. I confirmed my appointment with Martin, who accommodated me and got me in a week earlier because I would be leaving out of town that week and I wanted to make sure my wife gets the coolest (heh) and sickest looking Model 3 among the sea of white Model 3 s in So Cal and of course with the added benefits of uv blocking for better skin and more range on the battery due to using less AC. I showed up to the shop on the day of the appointment with my toddler and Martin was super friendly and running the whole show in his shop. What I mean by that is he made sure my toddler was comfortable and happy by giving us the remote to the big screen tv so we can watch kid friendly programs and even handed us the remote to the AC cuz the toddler thought it was too cold. I was scheduled to finish by 5 pm but Martin got it completed by 2 pmish and made sure I was happy with it by looking at the finished tint together. Let s just say I got that tingly feeling again when you first gaze at ur new car at the car dealership or Tesla showroom. When I took home the car that day, I felt mission accomplished because I absolutely wanted to make sure my wife was taken care of. She loved it and was thrilled with the finished product which makes me so happy. I am grateful for great shop owners and shops like AMB Auto Glass and Window Tint to be in sunny San Diego and thank you Martin for the awesome experience and increasing the cool factor of the Model 3!

Done same day and an amazing job. Car looks way better and feels so much cooler inside thanks to the ceramic heat blocking tint.

DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.It is a two man shop so no wonder they don't have ethics training! I had to fix a flat tire after I left my car with them for a regular tinting job. To make it even worse the guy with beard and strong accent claimed it is my problem. How could that be?! I did NOT have any issues with tire pressure until my car was in their hand for 24 hours. Who the heck know what had they done with my car in that 24 hrs if this two men has no work ethics? LOL now the shop left a response blaming me again as a fake review. Oh Yeah, any negative review is fake, right, AMB? Then how should I trust that any of the five star reviews are NOT fake?Service: Vehicle window tinting
