Matt and his team are the most honest and professional mechanics I have ever worked with. I trust them with my car and my life. He helped me get my car fixed when it wasn t clear what was wrong. They were extremely thorough and fixed the issue for a very fair price. Only mechanic I trust with my car by a mile.

Wonderful experience, the owner and his team were able to diagnose and ultimately repair a rather unique and troublesome issue with the power steering on my older Ford Taurus and I found their communication and overall professionalism to be 1st rate and I will definitely be going back to this establishment for all of my vehicle issues going forward! I strongly recommend Allied Gardens Automotive!

They have taken care of my truck quickly and at a fair price on a couple different occasions now. I have nothing bad to say about these guys and will continue to use them anytime I need help with my truck.

In and out for a smog check in literally 10 minutes!!!!! You can not beat that! Friendly service as well. Highly recommend :)

I went to get my smog test at this facility. Matt took care of me without adding or suggesting other work to be done on my car. He knows there are other issues with my ride, but he focused on what I really needed that time. Thank you for doing that Matt! I appreciate it. He probably knew I was broke at that time and only had enough money for the smog test so I can get it registered.

I was referred here by a friend of the owners and was so happy with how my experience went. I had a broken hose in my cooling system and Matt and his team got right on it. I was scrambling to not miss a ton of work and the guys had the parts and repairs knocked out within a few hours same day. I really appreciate their work ethic and understanding of my urgency with the repairs. I was afraid I'd be dealing with a rental for multiple days over the weekend anywhere I went but they worked so fast I didn't have to stress about that. Very pleased and I will be back whenever the time comes.

Matt is absolutely fantastic. Extremely professional, knowledgable, and straight-forward. He really cares about his clients, and wants to make sure that their cars are going to be reliable for them. I was looking to buy a used car so I brought a couple cars to the shop for him to look at. He was very dedicated to making sure I ended up with something reliable and worth my money. This shop has extremely reasonable prices for the care and quality of work. This is a extremely trustworthy auto shop. Highly recommend.

Matt and his team are awesome. I have been getting my vehicles serviced at his shop for several years now and could not be happier. His prices are fair and the work is excellent.I recently was trying to sell one of my vehicles and being familiar with that vehicle, Matt suggested that the vehicle would be a great candidate for auction at bringatrailer.com. I did just that and sold it easier and for thousands more than I had originally hoped to sell it for!What other shop would even care enough to give out that kind of advice?Here is the bottom line. At Allied Gardens Automotive, the prices are fair, the quality of work is top notch, and you can trust Matt and his team.He runs his business like I run my business. Ryan Lawrence who works here has lied to me and tried to rip me off. He should not have a job here. no customer should be spoken to with this disrespect. I am going to leave complaints on every social media platform so other african americans do not go here and get treated this way, If i was the owners id fire him. He said to me "N**** and told me to get a job and afford to pay for the repair bills instead of complaining"I will be filing a report with the BBB as well.Service: Transmission repair

Matt at Allied has been taking care of my custom car for years. He always takes the time to go over the problem, answer my questions and outline my options, and his pricing is always fair. They are exceedingly knowledgeable, go the extra mile, and I never feel like someone was trying to pull a fast one on me. I used to come here with my '94 Mitsubishi vr4 when I lived in Mission Gorge and Matt and his team always did excellent work and treated me like family. The time came to sell my aging car, so my wife and I saddled up with new vehicles and as I do my own basics (oil/rotate tires, etc) did not have a need for a regular mechanic yet.Six years into my wife's Toyota Corolla ownership we noticed the front suspension was rough and noisy. Like a fool we had Toyota look at it (for a fee) at the same time as a free factory recall it was in for. We got an outrageous quote for new struts (only struts) up front and an alignment. Instantly I kicked myself for not calling Matt.I gave Matt a call to pick his brain, mentioned what car I had and he instantly remembered me. I felt at home already. I ran down what I was looking for, with the caveat that of course I wanted him to look at it and trusted his recommendations. He came back with an amazing solution. For much less than what the dealer wanted, he suggested not just replacing the struts alone, but the springs and mounts as a whole thing. The labor involved in taking apart struts and springs (compressing them to disassemble/reassemble) versus the price of the new components didn't make sense to do just the strut alone. Labor and parts for installing already put together spring/strut assemblies was drastically cheaper for me. And faster for his team.I loved this out of the box thinking. Win-Win for everyone.I dropped the car off and it was done essentially in half a day as a fraction of the dealer price (even after I ate the fee for the dealer inspect!) His team and shop are professional, skillful, clean and know exactly what they are doing.I will again be heading straight to Allied Garden Auto for the foreseeable future for our car needs without a second thought of going to a dealership or another shop.I will be recommending Matt to all my friends and family in the future!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance

I recently took both of my cars here. My Toyota needed AC service and these guys did a great job at a good price. My other car needed a new radiator fan and it was done on the same day since I used night drop off. They give you your options, explain things well and don't try to rip you off. The mechanics are friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

I found this place by word of mouth, which is always the most reliable, and I was not disappointed. Matt and his team are friendly, professional and very capable with all repairs, from tires to tricky electrical problems. They explain what's wrong and the options for taking care of it. The service that I was provided with at Allied Gardens Automotive was impeccable. The mechanics are knowledgeable, friendly, and hard working. My car turned out great... and thanks to the suggestions that they made to put my car in better shape, I feel a great deal of satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them, and I would without a doubt, make this my go to auto repair shop. Thanks Guys.

5 stars is not enough. Matt, Ryan and the team have been taking care of my car and my wife s car for several years. Our now-15-year-old RX 330s have needed significant repairs and maintenance in that time. Their technical competence, customer service, professionalism and sincere caring have been remarkable! We consider ourselves lucky to be in the hands of these extremely conscientious mechanics who make our safety and our cars performance and longevity top priorities. By the way, prices are fair and reasonable. Get yourself some peace of mind in the often crooked and deceitful world of car repair. Trust this shop!

Had a wonderful experience coming here for a smog check. I needed to find a star station and pulled them up on my phone. Called first and talked to Matt who was easy to talk to and friendly. I came over right away and got in and out in no time, even though there were a bunch of cars being worked on. Never had a smog check go so quickly and easily, I will definitely continue coming here.

I really like this place. I don't like taking my cars to dealerships because they are so overpriced and treat you as just another customer. My chevy cobalt was shaking whenever I started it up and I had no idea what was wrong with it. The guys at Allied Gardens took a quick look at it as soon as I got there and did a free inspection. They fixed my car as soon as the parts came in and gave me a really good deal. They were quick and extremely friendly. They didn't press me to get anything else fixed. I would strongly recommend these guys.

After a dissapointing dealership experience I was recommended this shop from a friend. I'm comfortable with performing basic services on my own cars but this issue was beyond my comprehension. They were able to isolate the problem and get it fixed the same day. they even had time to check to see if a manufacture warranty was applicable. I was so impressed by the way Matt and Doug run thier business I now bring all my vehicles in for service. They would give you the shirt off your back, unlike the pushy, production based dealerships. Thanks guys for making a difference

My father in laws rav4 transmission broke down and these guys rebuilt it and got it up and running like new in just a few days. The guy helping me was friendly and kept me informed with updates on the service. It was expensive to rebuild the transmission but is was also very competitive.

Good plCw for car repsirs. Never had a problem. Very nice to work with but they price from a book and are usually prices higher than other garages in the area.It's kind of worth it that's way I keep going back. When they fix something it stays fixed and I don't ha e a y other problems when I leave their shop.

I'm not a "review" person but have to give a quick thank you to Matt at Allied Gardens for going the extra mile when it comes to his honest opinion and fair prices.My car died across the street from his shop last Friday and I walked over there asking for help. After explaining the situation, Matt immediately offered to do a free diagnostic to determine what the problem is (he guessed the starter based on the circumstances I told him) and gave me a number a very inexpensive tow company.Long story short, he was exactly right about the starter and gave me BETTER than competitive pricing on parts and labor - including the option on a rebuilt starter if I had to go that route. These guys are both friendly and efficient! After attempting to fix my battery on my own, I ran into a wiring problem a few days later. I took it to Allied Gardens and they took 15 minutes to inspect and fix the problem which was a faulty attaching piece. I'm definitely coming back for future maintanence.
