Straightforward, premium experience. I called and asked for the service and price, left home in 15 minutes, 2 hours later service completed, at the stated price, no upselling, not gimmicks. Loved the experience. Scott and Angelo were very professional and helpful.

They did an honest assessment of the damage from my being rear ended and in the process discovered what a terrible job Caliber had done on a previous ding. They fixed both problems professionallywith new Tesla body parts ordered from Tesla.I am grateful to AJ USA for a beautiful job done.Compliments to Mario and Mike

People over at AJ-USA wanted a good review? Well here it is. My car was hit while it was parked, and I was recommend by the at-fault insurance to go here. After I got the estimate for the damage, I left the car for repair. When I came back to pick my car up, I noticed something was different right away. The plastic cover for the door was peeling off. It was strange since the peeling only happened on a single door (the side that they repainted after fixing the damage). I told the estimator(Mario G.) that when I brought my car in, there was no peeling occurring anywhere. The estimator told me that it was normal wear and tear and that I brought the car in that way. That's ridiculous. How does wear and tear only occur on one door of the car, when every other door is perfectly fine. I m assuming the peeling happened because of the tape they use to cover the car when painting it. When they were ripping off the paint tape, the plastic came off along with it. There is no damage (or wear and tear ) to the plastic cover anywhere else besides the right back door that they worked on. I ve uploaded pictures of all the sides of the car, including the one that has been damaged.

Positives:AJ-USA did a good job with the quality of the repair. The dent is repaired to look like new. Also, the interiors of the cars were well cleaned on the day of pickup. Communication is also easy/professional with their messaging system.Negatives:It took 42 days to get my car back for this repair (See pic - it is a basic dent by most standards)! Tesla has extra calibration work/requirements and it takes a few days to get the parts/insurance approvals but even so the time taken was way too much.Further, AJ-USA reps were not forthcoming with the delays. They revised their ETA last day to +6 days and then took 2 more days without any further notifications. Only when I pinged for an update, I would get one. My insurance covered rental only for 30 days so I had to manage 12 days without any vehicle.They first blamed my insurance for the delays but it was refuted by the insurance adjuster with documentation so they blamed tesla for delays in shipping parts but that was also on time based on order updates so lastly they blamed covid which no one can argue with.. They didnt offer me anything when I pinged multiple times that I am without a car and getting frustrated with the delays.. Just 2 days before the final delivery they offered a car at nearby enterprise but when I called and spent considerable time with Enterprise employees they didnt really have any car available for me..So overall, I wasted a lot of time and energy in my experience with AJ-USA.Service: Body & Trim

It was a terrible experience. I took my car there for alignment. The person on the service that I met that day was very disrespectful. His name is Craig in the AJ USA Inc of Mira Mesa Blvd. I took my car there 8:30 am morning and he let me stay in the front desk of the service for 15 minutes until he decides to come over and ask me why I am there. Then for an alignment job that everywhere costs 80 dollars or less for my car he asked 260 dollars. Still I decided to leave my car there because I was in rush and told him I need my car by 3 pm like 6.5 hours for a half an hour job. In a week day with less business than a weekend day.I called him after 7 hours at 3:30 he was very aggressive and rude and told me he has not done it yet and can do it by end of the day (5pm). He told me I can take my car if I don't wanna wait.Imagine my car was there for 7 hours for an half an hour job and he knew I'm in rush and that why I'm paying him 4x more.I went there got my car he even didn't show up to apologize or so. I took my car to another shop at 4 and paid 80 dollar (much less than 260 that he asked for ) and got my car fixed by 4:30. Just half an hour. Paid so much less money.I won't go back there and won't recommend it to anyone else.

Someone had went through my glove compartment! I can t imagine why someone would need to do that, it made me skeptical of the honesty they should have. My cargo compartment was also a mess (I keep everything military organized ) so when I saw that the storage compartments were also rummaged into I was disgusted that it happened.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & TrimServices: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

My 2016 Mercedes had extensive damage from an accident. I had never used AJ-USA but it is conveniently located in my neighborhood, so I called ahead to make sure they could work on a Mercedes. I had it towed there and they were expecting it when I arrived. Excellent service and communication from the entire staff. Special shout-out to Angel, who is friendly, communicated thoroughly and answered all my questions. Special shout-out to Daniel who texted me with updates on the repairs and expected completion date. I wasn't aware they also have a service center for maintenance needs and I intend on having my routine maintenance performed at AJ-USA. Have been taking my car to AJ USA for years for various check-ups and repairs. Originally I went because their location was convenient, but now I go back because they are friendly, helpful, and don't try to oversell services to me. Craig in the Service Dept is always courteous and professional, and my car is usually done even before the estimated completion time which I really appreciate.Services: Electrical, Battery

Car held hostage for Tesla repairs. I would not recommend AJ USA for body work on a Tesla. I had a minor fender-bender backing down my driveway. After dismantling my car AJ determined the damage was more excessive ($14,000)then the insurance adjuster assessed ($3,800). After 3 weeks I called to find out when I can pick up my car to find out they had not even started the repairs due to lack of payment of the entire $14,000 upfront from my insurance. My insurance had paid 11,600 and said it is industry standard to start repairs and once funds are depleted to submit a supplement for the additional costs. I would have just picked up my car and gone elseward but they had dismantled it and would charge me to put it back together. This battle between my insurance and them went on for 4 MONTHS. They finally repaired my car and said the insurance only paid $12,180 and if I wanted the car I had to pay the difference out of pocket!!! Unbelievable! literally tagged another car with my rear corner bumper. My insurance felt their cost were well above industry standards and refuse to pay the additional $1,800 so I had to pay it out of pocket on top of my deductible if I wanted to see my car again! So not only did they take 4 MONTHS to complete my car. I now am out a substantial amount of $$$. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I've been taking my cars to AJ USA for over 8 years. They always really get to the bottom of the problem and provide exceptional value. This past Friday, Greg the Service Manager really went above and beyond by helping me with a check engine light issue before a road trip planned for the next day. They had a full schedule, and were down a mechanic, but still managed to make time for my car, resolved the problem, and came in under budget. Outstanding work yet again from a great crew. Can't speak highly enough about them.

I have AAA insurance and was referred to this location by my insurance adjuster after an accident. I own six cars and three driving teenagers so unfortunately I have had a few claims and used a few repair shops.I called ajusa on the phone trying to get an idea of repair time and discuss the repairs and felt uncomfortable with the service advisor. Advisor was dismissive and condescending. My gut and similar experiences told me I had to go somewhere else.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I ve been an AJ customer for years, they have been the main source for engine and suspension work for my 69 Camaro, 74 Cuda, and 70 Chevelle. Service has always been completed to my satisfaction. I don t know what kinda crack these bad reviewers are smoking but I ve only had good experiences there. Craig had always been my point of contact with all my cars and he s never been rude or pushy when it comes to providing service, only professional. Looking at recent negative comments, they mostly seem to be entitled Tesla owners who like to parade around the city in their battery powers cars thinking they are saving the planet . Most electric car owners don t realize that cobalt and lithium mining destroys the earth just as much as hydrocarbons. The battery which powers their vehicle is provided by companies who purchase those minerals from 3rd world countries that utilize child slave labor and pay their miners pennies a day. Hmmm so are electric cars really saving the planet? AJ-USA is absolutely the best. Why take your car to a dealer. Why take you exotic sports car anywhere else. AJ-USA is tops in service, knowledge, ability and friendly service. I couldn't praise AJ USA enough for my experience. They have the white glove treatment down to an art. They kept me updated on the work without being overwhelming. I was updated via email and received phone calls only for things that needed my input.I really appreciate the courtesy from everyone involved in the repairs including the office, service writers, and repair technicians.I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone I know and would return in the future for car work.

Wonderful customer service and reliable repairs. My wife and I were hit by a drunk driver and took our car here for repairs. We helped by Ron at AJ USA and he was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. He assured us that our car was in good hands and explained the process clearly. AJ USA even has a cute text message system that keeps you updated. Their warrantee is excellent. Our repairs were a bit delayed but it wasn't their fault because they had to order parts which were in short supply at the time. But they made sure to tell us an estimated time line. We had some questions and minor issues afterwards and they were all addressed straight away. Our car is now as good as new thanks to AJ USA. Shout out to Ron who made this whole ordeal a breeze.

Wow. Can't tell you how impressed I was with this place. Odd mix of body shop, exotic used cars and mechanical services. Weird location and set up, but pricing was excellent, service was very good, staff was professional and facility was very, very clean. The Ferrari and Shelby Mustang in the lobby are sublime. Definitely will go back if other services are needed.

I have used AJ USA for all of my tire mounting, balancing and repairs for aobut 12 years. They have always excelled in timely, quality work at a reasonable price and without any surprises or unexpected delays/costs. I would not go anywhere else for tire related service on my vehicles.

I did my car repair here as suggested by AAA claim agent. AJ-USA did a poor job. They didn't order the right parts for my car removing keyless entry for trunk, and argued that the feature was not originally there. They over estimated 11 business days for fixing trunk originally and then was done in 5 days with the job done poorly. Tail lamps where not aligned properly, and they didn't notice any of these obvious issues until I called out. Upon inspecting, it was evident of low quality job, despite a huge amount charged. I would have gone elsewhere, unless the AAA agent suggested this place. I heard many of them go there because of the agent and I suspect something is going on between them. I would never go to them again!

Initially believed AJ to be top notch. Later felt they were pushing repairs on me. Always saying they wanted to rebuild the top half of my 540. Last X5 brake job I had was done way too soon. After completing the brake job, I received a call and had to drive back to AJ as they put the wrong brakes on my X5. Not impressed. Not convinced which brakes I even paid for. They do have a nice clean show room.

I went in to apply for a job. I asked to see the shop.. Denied. I asked to speak with the service manager..Denied.. I really think it necessary to see the person when they leave an application. I went home to do more research on the shop. I like what I see and will make another attempt to contact the manager. The reviews are as expected uninformed people unable to understand how the industry really works. The rest are 5 star. It's quite clear they are a good shop. See ya tomorrow

My brakes were squeaking on my Jeep so I called around and found out this place sells the ones I wanted- EBC performance ones, but they also had a shop! Got the brakes ordered, came in a week later, and a few hours for them to install! A bit pricier than small shops- but I'd pay for quality workmanship- especially on brakes- any day!

They do good work for a good price but they tried to sell me on a brake pad and rotor change. I got not one but two second opinions and both said I only needed pads. Needless to say I won't be going back.
