They put a new long block in my f150, leaked oil and coolant. Bright back 3 times, paid for new parts, ended up taking it to another mechanic who confirmed they stripped out two of the mounting holes for the coils in a brand new engine. I wouldn t get my oil changed at this place! Steer clear!

Had to get my transmission fluid and filter replaced and they did it for cheap! Labor for it at one "reputable" shop was $280. They did it for about a 100$ (not including parts)! Love these guys !

Had some work done here on my Camry and es300. They came highly recommended from a friend. So glad I listened and came here. Work done was fast and painless. Ted is awesome to work with. Take your car here. You won t regret it.

Have been going through some crazy car life events since the beginning of 2022 and Ted / this shop have saved my life- helped me out with everything I needed and was really shocked at the quality of customer service/work done. Have been to a couple dealerships in the past and now realize I will only bring my cars here from here on out. 11/10 service, I cant say enough good things! Thank you !!!

This place constantly helps out. The owner, Mr. Ted, is a professional and knows what he is doing. I love this shop and if you don t understand what is going on with your car, they ll explain it. They won t screw you over, fair prices, reliable service, and friendly. I recommend them to you and all my friends. Give them a try.

Ted was amazing. He repaired my work van without any hassles. He was honest and upfront about what it really needed and got it done promptly. My van had been in another shop for almost a month they embellished what it really needed so I decided to get a second opinion and I'm so gladI did. These guys are honest and reliable! Don't go anywhere else. I will take all my vehicles to them from now on even though they are 35 miles away.

I had been to 3 other mechanics prior, none said the same thing. Left thinking I'd have to junk my car, I reached out to my neighbors on Nextdoor.com and received a referral to Advance Automotive. WOW what a fabulous experience! Ted diagnosed and fixed my vehicle - ITS NEVER RUN BETTER! Ted & company are the best!

Man, bad customer service? You must be talking about another shop. Those guys are great. I've taken my cars (01 Yukon & 04 sorento) there and they've been nothing short of amazing on the way they take care of me price-wise, and the way they take care of my cars. Was thinking about buying a new car, they told me they would do the vehicle inspection for me to make sure I didn't buy a lemon. are you kidding freaking kidding me? Highly recommended, great work, better prices. These guys are the truth.

My husband and I were about to take a cross-country trip that would take us from San Diego to Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, back to Texas, and then home. I asked that my vehicle be inspected to be roadworthy, but told the gentleman in charge that I was on a budget because of needing money for the travel. The guys made a list of things that needed attention on my car, but told me that I could get by with only having a few of them done prior to the trip and that I'd be safe. I know nothing about cars except how to drive them, so they could have really taken advantage of me, but they were HONEST and professional. The car's performance on the vacation was awesome, and I'm taking my car in for more work next week. These guys can be trusted!

Are you down on your luck or you just need some maintenance? Do you have a German car? do you have a European car? or do you have an American car? either way go see the boys at Advance Automotive!You will get way better service at a way better price than any other place in San Diego County!!! It is as simple as that.Hopefully you are just doing your scheduled maintenance to avoid major problem but if you find yourself needing a new engine or a new transmission or anything else major they'll take good care of you satisfaction guaranteed.

These guys are great. Honest, fast, and fairly priced. We've taken our vehicle here multiple times for repairs and for tire mounting/balancing and alignment.

I've been going to this place for years! They are priced well, but more importantly they always perfore the work in they time that they say for the price quoted. If by chance they do find something outside of the scope of what initially was discussed they call and to explain the situation and whether or not it should be done then or not.If someone ask me for a mechanic these guys are my go to referral :-)

Took my Nissan Murano in to trouble shoot a brake job and control arms because of a grinding noise. Ted put the Murano on a lift. Upper and lower A control arms are good, bushings good, cvc joints good. However the right side brake rotor has some deep scratches and grease on the calipers! Thank you Advanced Automotive. Thank you Ted.

It's a busy Auto Shop but we'll worst your time they are friendly and will let you know right away what is wrong with your car. And the prices are very reasonable.
