The man who helped me was great dont let looks fool you the shop is minimal just everything needed to do every job and the technician was one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever spoken with

Carlos is awesome. Tells you straight up what he recommends and doesn't up sell. Installed a larger resonator for me on my hatch because I'm old now. Very clean welds. If you have a muscle car or an import, bring your ride here.

Everything about the experience was great. I was able to walk in and immediately have my work done, only took 45 minutes start to finish. He didn t cut corners though; the owner was very knowledgeable, skilled and particular in his craft, and was open to letting me observe and get things exactly how I wanted!

This man is amazing. Very quick job, and didn't have to worry about the crazy German electronics on my car because he actually torch welds (not MIG, not TIG, not arc, not stick). It's crazy impressive! His torch welds on my resonator delete were impressively clean and looked way better than what exhaust/muffler shops usually do with lumpy discolored welds and MIG wire sticking out everywhere.

After reading all of the good reviews, decided to stop by and check out the shop. Carlos walked me through my old system and helped diagnose the issues with my truck . He helped me me consider a better set up, had all of the parts ready, and food all of the work in under an hour . Now my truck runs and sounds amazing!

Called in to see if they could install an aftermarket exhaust, they had a fair price and the installation wasn't that long. The owner was really knowledgeable and funny. Definitely recommend it here!

Stop by today once he opened at 8am, super nice guy. I came in for a small rattle on my AWE exhaust that was annoying me. He aligned it and fixed the problem within a couple minutes. Would absolutely recommend his shop to anyone.

Drove in from AZ, not knowing the area, and was so thankful to have seen all of these great reviews the noises we were hearing every time we started driving were very unsettling! Called about 15 minutes before coming in and we got straight to work as i arrived. He was quick friendly and efficient, offered me something even better then i expected / wanted for the same price. This place is AMAZING. I can t emphasize enough how great it was - all the 5-star reviews are accurate. Carlos was so helpful and friendly. As someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars and always goes to dealerships, this place was far better than anything and Carlos is so knowledgeable. I bought a used car and needed to exchange the catalytic converter for one that was California compliant. I called multiple times before coming in for help about picking the right part. Carlos was efficient and fit me in! When autozone gave me the wrong part, Carlos helped fix it. Everyone should go here!!

Trust all of the good reviews!! Carlos not only replaced my cat converter, he helped me every step of the way after it was stolen. I had no idea what I was doing and he guided me through the entire process. My dad owned his own auto repair shop in Akron, Ohio for 40 years before he passed away in 2018. His advice: if you find a car guy you trust, stick with him. I took that advice to heart. Carlos was an absolute godsend. He has been so patient with all of my phone calls, questions, my back and forth with my insurance guy, and my questions about parts. I'll be coming here for all exhaust related issues forever. :) My dad would be so happy.Service: Exhaust

In a search for Muffler shops around San Diego, I noticed ACE was the only one with 5 stars, 0 complaints; out of 47 reviews.I went in to have them install my magnaflow black series exhaust on my 17 Silverado. They did not disappoint! Carlos and Henry were fast, professional and most of all HONEST! Carlos mentioned near the end that the manufacturer made the pipes a little too short and that he honestly didn't think it would look good with the clamps. I asked what he could do and he said he would recommend ditching the clamps, welding on the tips and painting the welds black to match the pipes/tips. Original quote was 175, came to 215 with his recommendation ($20/weld). I could not be happier with the service, my truck sounds amazing and would highly recommend these guys!!

Carlos did the exhaust on my Toyota Tundra and I'm very happy with it. He got me in on short notice to put my truck on the lift to talk about options. Very knowledgeable and honest. One of the best auto shops I ve been to!! I came on short notice and he completed a muffler removal on my 2020 Toyota Camry XSE for a great price in under an hour! Will definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be getting more business from me.

Great service and great quality of work! He fixed and corrected my exhaust that was worked on at a previous shop. Did a beautiful muffler delete and installed a nice black chrome tip that compliments the color of my vehicle and wheels nicely. Welds were quality and finished it off with a high temp black paint. Highly recommend to anyone in the San Diego area. Well priced for the outstanding work!

I called Carlos regarding a muffler delete for my V6 Challenger. He told me it would be a waste of money and instead to look at a FlowMaster Super 10 Series. Three days later, I call to see if I can come in and get a quote, and despite not making an appointment, he fit me into his schedule and walked me through the process of what he was going to do. He also recommended replacing the old/rusting piping as well. He quoted me a price and it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than other muffler shops in the area. I agreed and he got to work on it, and I was in and out in an hour. Additionally, he said the cutting work in the bumper was unsightly and that he d fix it, free of charge. He s a person of integrity, quality, and he s definitely passionate about what he does. I m going to him for anything I need done on any of my future cars. I had a broken tailpipe and am new to the area, so I looked for a place with good reviews! They didn't lie, Carlos was awesome! The pricing was beyond reasonable, and the work was done in less than an hour. Buddy the dog was an extra plus! The sweet little guy kept me company through the short wait :)

Carlos got me right in and quoted $550 for my catalytic converter and might take a day to get the part in. He called about one to say he had done some shopping around and was able to get one right away and a hundred bucks cheaper. He was willing to spend time with me to educate me on some other items on my truck I should attend to. Not a come on to get more work because it was not work his shop handled.
