Great place to get your new tires installed. Best part is you can actually bring your motorcycle in versus having to take your wheels off at home like most places. Sean and Evan were GREAT and got my bike in right away. Only takes 30 minutes and they have tv, coffee and a pool table all for you while you wait. Note: DONT BE LATE!! Appointments are set for a reason so if you show up late they will have to move you to another time and day for safety purposes. Perfectly understandable.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Got a next day appointment and they were ready for me when I arrived. Great waiting area with cold water, hot coffee, a TV and a pool table! I paid a little extra for something I didn't even know existed: a set of Balance Beads that are supposed to automatically balance your wheel dynamically while riding. Just because I don't understand it doesn't mean I don't want it.At checkout I was asked to leave a tip for the guy who mounted my tires. I bet he gets paid a decent wage and I declined. This tipping craze has gotten out of hand. And $650 for set of tires is plenty.

On my 3rd or 4th set of tires for my goldwings. These guys have went above and beyond in getting me set up. Price has been unmatched by anyone else, very pleased

Rob and the rest of the gang at 8 ball are fantastic. They take the utmost pride in their work and their concern for their customers is above and beyond. I really enjoy spending money at places like this where the whole team takes pride in what they do.The icing on the cake is that they're all actual enthusiasts and have a passion for the sport...they're not just in it for the money or just a job. They really enjoy what they do!You need tires; this is the place. Full stop, no reason to go anywhere else!I've had some very delicate and rare wheels in their hands and they do a phenomenal job of returning them in the exact same condition they received them in. That's not easy to do! I've changed tires myself on a machine like they use and even I've made a mistake here and there, scratching a wheel. These guys are pros and have forgotten more about their trade than I will ever know in total. Their labor rate is probably too low, but I'm not complaining. The balance beads they use have made every bike I've put them in silky smooth. I highly recommend that option.

I'm new in California and went here based on reviews. The reviews didn't disappoint. Everybody here goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. They have a nice and clean lounge for you to wait in with tv, beverages, and a pool table. They are very knowledgeable with what they do and will get you the best tires based on your needs and riding style. Definitely will do business again here.

This shop did a great, clean job installing my tire and tube on my wheel.They were very quick to answer the phone to set up the appt and quick to dispatch me and my tire out, customer service was outstanding, easy right off the freeway location with ample parking.The best prices in town as well, no hidden fees.Will continue to shop with them.5/5 all around.

Can't imagine a better all around experience. They ordered in the tires that I needed and had them on the exact day they said they would, ready to install. I arrived 15min late, but they still fit me in same day and had the work done in under an hour. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. A pleasure to do business with. This is the only place I'll go for new tires in San Diego. Chase at the front desk was fantastic as was Evan who installed my tires. These guys are the real deal.

This place is great.I called to see if they had tires for my Kawasaki KLR650 and they found them in stock and they were able to get me in within the hour. The process was done in an hour and the waiting room was very inviting. I shot a game of pool and watched some riding videos. I met one of the owners who took the time to review what was done and give me safety advice for the break in period.The experience was beyond my expectations!

Excellent, professional service. They guided me through the whole process and helped pick the tires best for my bike. And they were 40% ($400) cheaper than the Indian dealer. Fast and efficient.

Had such a great experience here the first time. I had to return immediately to get my Wife's tires serviced. Its been some time now so I just received my rebate cards and I totally remembered I never submitted my review. Highly recommend these folks! The true motorcycle tire buying experience! I can t even begin to tell you how amazing the customer service in this establishment is they helped me unload my bike and load my bike when they were done, they really do go the extra mile for you and do everything possible to make you feel welcomed I will never go anywhere for bike tires ever again they will forever be my go to. The turn around time is also a lot faster then I anticipated they are an all around a great establishment definitely will be returning I picked up a set of Dunlocks Q5 on my 2020 R1

Oh where do I start from the first call till the time I paid nothing but high praise the guy in the office Ron/Rob? I originally just wanted a tube but after I was informed of the safety issues that another place failed to tell me I was on my way to 8 Ball Tire. Great shop, great people. The shop as a whole has a riders helping rider s atmosphere, always super helpful and the tire protection plan they offer has saved me twice after getting a nail in my rear tire with only maybe 200 miles on it.

Excellent experience from the start and all the way through.It started when I called in for a quote on a new rear tire at lunch. They gave me a rough price on the tire I wanted, but went the extra mile by asking what kind of riding I do. Then they recommended a tire that would be better suited for commuting but still grip well in the corners.Then I arrived and hang all my gear on a nice hook on the wall. Once Evan got started he popped out and checked to see how I wanted my tire balanced. I went with the balancing beads. All while sitting in a nice comfy chair watching the history of the Honda 3 wheeler.After Evan got the new tire on, Rob walked me out and went over a few things about the balance beads and how to not get them stuck in the valve stem core when checking my tire pressure. After that Rob was extremely safety oriented and made sure I understood about my tire's break in distance.All in all, a really good experience. I will definitely be back.

Great guys at 8 Ball, super helpful and get you right out of the door under the time they promise when you make an appointment. I got the new Bridgestone s23's with install, cheaper than buying them online and doing a self install. MoMo was fantastic!

Walked in cold just to price out tires for the bike. The staff was attentive and informed. The sales team made sure they had a clear understanding of my riding style and needs while properly educating me of my options. Price is fair and staff well trained. Definitely receiving my future business and recommendations. Update, I'm on my 4th set of tires from here and still highly recommend

Was in a bind (flat tire, not near home). They had my tire in stock and did offloaded the bike from the tow truck and got me going again in a couple of hours. Rob (co-boss) and MoMo (tire guy) were great. Good people. And they had coffee :-)

Great customer service that will leave you spending money with a smile. Great selection of in stock tires and the install technicians are consummate professionals. The service writer was amazingly knowledgeable, happy to help with anything, and would not let me leave until he was sure I was satisfied. Will be visiting again and again.Well, visited again, and again, it was a phenomenal experience. Rob treats you like family, and Evan was a consummate professional and worked faster than expected. Keep it up boys!

Thank you, Rob and Evan, for making it happen!! Flat tire at 4 pm, tow truck didn't get to me until 5:50 shop closes at 6. Pulled up at 6:10 and Rob was just getting ready to leave, but opened the shop doors, pulled my bike in, and took the time to speak with me on my options, he then wrote me up for repairs. Although he knew the next day was booked up, he said he would get my tires changed out even if he had to do it himself. Evan ended up with an opening and got it done. 8 Ball Motorcycle Tires will be my go-to in the future and the recommended shop to my friends and family. It's definitely a 5-star shop, if not more!!

I had a set of Cruisetec tires placed on my 22 Harley Fatboy. Sorry,you guys deserve 5 stars. Also, there's free coffee, bottled water, and a pool table to pass the time. Thank you, 8 ball tires. Shawn at the counter was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.

They offer a flawless customer service. The respect and attention you receive from these people is out of this world. I am glad I found them. They guide you based on your riding needs and the atmosphere of their location is just great! There is a TV Lounge and a Pool table for you to hang out while your ride gets new tires.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I finally found a motorcycle tire shop in the San Diego area with knowledgeable and professional service with affordable prices.Rob was extremely professional and clearly knows his stuff. Advised me on any additional things I needed without pressure. After my last fiasco with a dealer who's supposed to know my bike inside and out, 8 Ball Tires is my go-to place from now on.

I have a 2014 BMW GS and a 1977 Yamaha XS that I got tires for from them. And by far they have the best service, most knowledgeable crew, and the owner himself is always there to help out not just by talking to the customers but when it gets busy he gets greasy helping his crew. Thank you Rob and team for the work on my CBR1100XX - was offered 90 degree angled valve stems (photo) and recommended getting balance beads instead of weights for each wheel. Both sounded like a great idea to make adding air easier and extend tread life.

I went to 8 Ball for the first time today to get new tires put on my 2002 Ducati Monster, Daniel Boon was my technician and he didn t just install the tires he also adjusted my kick-stand and reshaped the bracket on my rear swing arm, I ll be using this shop for all my needs while in this area. Very nice employees and the store has a home feel to it not a business feel. Deserving of more than just 5 stars.Service: Tires

Exceptional service, I highly recommend these guys and their shop all day!! Showed up early for my appointment and they took me in early with no hesitation and I was out before my original appointment time. Great customer service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Free coffee while I waited, and got a free t-shirt when I bought a hat from them! Very fast maintenance and no flaws with my bike. All around awesome experience going to this shop.Service: Tires

Great experience. I'm using these guys from here on out perfect owner operated small business.They had me in and out in a little over an hour. and these guys are half the price of Harley with way bettering service.
