I took my toyota venza and asked Carlos to perform 1000,000 mile inspection in addition to a oil change, Inspection of vehicle. Up to this point most service and repairs done at dealers. I baby this truck expect to roll 200 to 300,000 miles on it. I am a fairly knowledgable owner/ mechanic having worked for toyota for 10 plus years and restoration of classic cars. Carlos was referred by another business owner here in San clemente as being honest, trustworthy, and a Damm good mechanic. He not only met my expectations but exceeded them. I will not allow anyone else to perform repairs on my vehicles...

Will never again take my car to another shop. I m no mechanic by no means, but I ve been doing the maintenance on my Toyota for over 15 years and there s jobs I won t take on (timing belt, valve cover gasket). So I know a little about working on cars. What struck me right away about Carlos was his honesty and the fact that he wasn t trying to gouge me with a high cost. Every other mechanic that I ve taken my truck to have always charged me twice to triple the price on the part. Another way shops make a profit. You can get the same part at Autozone or Rockauto for 1/4 of the price. This is why I ve learned to do everything on my truck. Carlos wasn t this way. He is a straight shooter, honest and dependable.

Carlos Klink is one of the most experienced and reasonable technicians I have encountered in my 50 years of automotive repairs. He is careful, methodical, knowledgeable and on time. His fees for parts and labour are more than fair. German autos are his specialty, yet he has worked on my family's domestic SUVs with great successes. I encourage anyone to entrust him with all of your automotive repairs and services.

I can not say enough about Carlos and Klinks. I found them 14 years ago after moving home from Boston. Never looked elsewhere. My parents and their crazy expensive cars, my sister (who drives up from San Diego) and my brothers (when they lived here) all go to Klinks. As a woman, I am used to garbage 'do this, do that, your car might blow up if not!' Which annoys me as a woman who drives 50-80k miles/year. He took care of my old benz, told me when it was time to give it up, then my lexus, now my suv. I have 181k on my SUV, and every time I take it in, he says what I need, what I can put off, and his prices are reasonable, extremely so. I had a recall issue on my suv, the dealership gave me a list of additional piddly things to do. Carlos reassured me it was not necessary. Driving so much, I notice things, whenever I pull up and ask, he is always honest and listens to me and never jumps to make a buck. I can not recommend him enough. A true mechanic and honest, too.

The guys here are the best-most trustworthy mechanics in South OC. I've been getting cars worked on there for 10 years, and referred numerous friends---everyone has always had a great experience, great repairs at a great cost. if it can be fixed, they'll tell you and they'll fix it. If it can't be fixed, they'll tell you why and offer suggestions on alternatives. In a world where rip off artists and cheats are rampant...it's refreshing. Found them originally by asking a friend I trusted if they had a trustworthy mechanic...you should do the same--and check out Klinks!!

Carlos saved me a ton of money. I was having battery connection issues, and I thought there was a wiring short, or that I needed a new battery, and I was ready to purchase one. Carlos took a look at it, put a new connector on worth $15, and I was on my way. Anyone else could have ripped me off easily. I'll only be going here from now on.
