I went to Kevin's computer service for the first time recently, and I was really impressed with the service they provide. I had a challenging computer issue happening and time sensitive work to complete. They were able to get my computer in working order and get it back to me to continue working while they waited for a new part to arrive. When the new part arrived a couple of days later, they installed it within a couple of hours so I barely missed any work hours at all. The staff at the San Clemente location was great at explaining what was happening, how the process would work, and what the costs would be. I highly recommend!

I used this company for the first time last month and was very pleased with their service. Good communication, prompt service and Greg the technician was knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely use Kevin s Computer Service again.

Kevin's was great. The staff were knowledgeable about the diagnosis for my laptop and helped me make a good decision about what to do about it. I will take all of my computers to them in the future.

My son and I had a bet; If he got straight A's in school, all year long, I would buy him a computer; Not a pre-built one..one that we could build together with all the components he really wanted if he put in the effort. I felt pretty safe that he would come up short but encouraged him just the same. Well..he got all A's and 1 B+. I wasn't gonna burn him on the deal so the buying spree began. He picked out some pricey things and one by one they all arrived until the complete set was stacked and ready for assembly. For the record; I am not a tech guy but I figured, "How hard could this build really be?" I can watch some Linus vids, read some instructions and be a pro. The build began..(4 hours later) I felt okay about the assembly..kind of. The moment of truth was at hand..I powered it up..pretty lights turned on and a message on the monitor pretty much said.."Nope" My son was heartbroken. I didn't know where to begin but decided to look up support options. I found the place that was super close, loaded up the sad machine and walked in. I met Anthony and felt pretty good about the situation. About 3-4 hours later I received a call from Alex who told be about the issues that were happening and how he not only resolved it but also fixed the fans which I managed to put in all kinds of wrong ways. Needless to say; The issue was fixed so fast that my son didn't have long to grieve. All of this happened because they know what they are doing and went above and beyond the call of duty. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone having any computer issues. These guys are pros! Thanks guys!!

I have been going to Kevin's Computer service for many years now. Always great service, immediate updates, fair pricing and they make you feel like you are always a top priority. As a life long Mac user, I was skeptical about trusting anyone else but the Genius Bar to help me with any Mac issues. But, I decided to turn my laptops in here because of an great recommendation. I wanted to transfer the information from one Macbook and to another Macbook, with all the data and files intact.The team Sterling, Greg, and Anthony were quick, communicative, throughout the process, and honest about their services. They completed the transfer within 3 days and I was so shocked that everything was saved, due to my previous doubts.Though the service was expensive, I felt like these guys really took care of the device and their honest, device and industry knowledge, and skill are unmatched.Trust your local computer guys! They will take care of you. Thanks again guys!

Saved me $2000.00-Provided a cheap solution to prevent me from buying replacement GPU (RTX 4090), due to it being a over a year since it's purchase, the manufacturer warranty expired, however they identified that NZXT had a two year replacement warranty.-Automated updates via email or text to the status of you devices.-They kept me on schedule with reminders to contact the manufacturer when they didn't deliver items on time or when GPU was a downgrade from the original.-Diagnosis took approximately 1 hour. (dysfunctional GPU)Note, they build computers too. No need to go through a service like NZXT who's customer service took about 45 days to resolve the issue.

"I am so deeply grateful for Kevin's company. My old iMac desktop finally bit the dust and I had two very important jobs to get done. Rushed out and purchased a brand new iMac 24" then found out I could not plug in all my other work horses - printer, backup disk, scanner, non-WIFI keyboard, etc. PLUS I could not transfer all docs to the new computer by myself. So, I called Kevin's and a wide variety of very knowledgeable men came to my rescue. They ordered the product I needed to connect all my machines and had the data transfer done over the weekend and I was back in business. I cannot recommend them enough. Johanna B

My laptop was brazenly stolen in the lobby at the Hotel Arts in Barcelona this summer. Not everything was backed up in the Cloud. (Yes, I know...lesson learned.) Most importantly, baby through grade school photos of my son (pre-iPhone) were presumably lost. However, I was able to dig out an old PC that had a corrupted hard drive after being infected by a virus.Well...I brought my old PC to Kevin's and these guys were able to successfully extract my photos. What a relief! 100% recovery in about 24 hours.Everyone at Kevin's was courteous, helpful and not remotely condescending as some in the tech business can be. From my first inquiry by phone to drop off, call back, and pick up, it could not have gone better. Special shout-out to Anthony for his warm welcome and assurances. After servicing, I received an email from the owner checking in to see if I was satisfied.The shop in San Clemente is bright, spacious, and well organized. I thought the amount charged was fair, especially when one considers overhead, technical expertise, etc. that goes into doing this type of work. I suppose I could have saved money by purchasing my own Seagate 2TB external drive, but when they offered to supply one, I decided to buy from them strictly as a matter of convenience. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase from them.I highly recommend Kevin's and feel fortunate to have found them.

Will and Mike are the dream team! My laptop had been repaired almost a year ago and when I brought it in they still took care of me even though the warranty is 30 days. Not only did they help me out when it was waayy out of warranty they were super knowledgeable and really friendly to me. Always willing to answer questions and explain everything. I have taken my computer here in the past and the service was again nothing short of excellent but the customer service provided on this occasion was some of the best I have ever experienced. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family for any computer or phone repair in the future!

The guys here were great! Super patient with me and my laptop, and very willing to help me out. We had some complications with parts and availability, but they kept on looking until the right part was found and my laptop was 100% again. And I love the constant and timely communication. Highly recommended!

The technician was very professional and friendly. He came to help us with the installation of our new printer. He also helped us with some other computer related things. We would definitely use Kevin's Computer Service again and would highly recommended them to others.

Kevin's computer service did a great job of combining 2 different emails into one site. I had an individual try to "straighten out" my emails as a result of a malware attack. After spending at least 6 hours, my "repair person" took my computer to Kevin's and in less than an hour, my computer was functioning normally! When I need computer help, Kevin's is where I will go!!!!!

Everyone at Kevin's Computer Service has been a pleasure to work with! Christine at the Laguna Niguel store built me a brand new PC and I love it. Still learning the new programs, but the speed compared to my other PC is like lightening. Before I brought my new computer home, I had Christine install a remote app so they could help me remotely. That app is fantastic!! Ron at the San Clemente store helped me remotely. He is very knowledgeable and super nice to work with ... thank you all

A glass jar of vinegar shattered on my daughter's computer, frying her motherboard. She was devastated at the idea of losing hundreds of gaming hours among other things. These guys were great about 1) diagnosing/confirming the extent of the problem, 2) helping us find a used laptop that's even BETTER than what she had, and 3) transferring all her data and game files to the new computer. Some of her games (Minecraft) are notorious for being difficult to move from device to device, but Anthony meticulously went through to make she she had all her game files and that they were ready for use and in the places they need to be in order to be accessed seamlessly in the new laptop.When she opened her new computer to see her old familiar desktop, and then launched into her games without missing a beat, our household was overjoyed.Bonus perk, the new laptop has a spill tray feature to prevent liquid damage. Woot-de-woot!The service was so great that I brought in my own laptop which had lost the ability to connect to wifi and they fixed that, too, after my IT dept AND the geek squad had given up and resorted me to using ethernet cables for the past year. And my fix was only $40!!These guys are amazing.... would recommend to all. Great prices and personality, too.

Beware and avoid they broke my wife's $2000 dollar laptop. I took my wife's laptop to get it checked out and to also get the keyboard keys fixed. Nothing was wrong with the laptop other than 2 keys having slight issues. In order to fix the keyboard it had to be replaced entirely. I had them order one and it came in, they put it in and called and said one key was not working. So I asked about getting another, they couldn't get it anytime soon, when I needed it so I told them to just put the one I had in it. Got it home and put it away and a few days later got it out and tried to use it. t The keyboard wouldn't work on any keys but but the top row which made me think that the connection cable wasn't properly seated and put back properly.So I took it back and they said the keyboard was dead and they refused to accept the fact that they broke it. It was working perfectly fine when I brought it in. The only thing wrong with it was the space bar was stiff and the special omen key sometimes came off. Now I'm stuck with no keyboard on my laptop.

I had an OS issue that i needed fixed ASAP with a tower I built myself, which I use for my work. I dropped off the tower at 10 AM, explained what was happening and what I needed - and I had my tower back at 4:30 PM, and I could not be happier. They were knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, and gave me text updates about the work. Highly recommend.

San Diego Gas & Electric turned off the power to all Dana Point residents so they can fix a line with no notification to any residents. Kevin's computer repair diagnosed and had my workstation 7500 up and running in one day they even upgraded my Ram I'm so grateful for this computer repair store because like most I had important information I needed to get off my computer. I heard about Kevin's computer repair from another LA County fireman Joe M. who hadn't had his computers fixed there he told me they did excellent work and believe me they do thanks again.

Great service.My only regret is that I have not known Kevin's Computer Co. earlier, that is before I was taking for a ride by some other "computer experts".Whenever I should have problems computer related, I now know where to go.

I had one blown and 2 failing fans on my gaming computer. Their local store is clean. modern and unbusy. They are prompt, friendly and professional. I cannot comment on their pricing as I did not seek competitive bids.
