The owner is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My car was not shifting gears easily enough and there was no check engine light on. Ed recommended a routine service at a very fair price and now my car is driving way better than before. They have a comfortable lobby to wait in as well! 5 stars and I highly recommend this shop.Service: Transmission

So I'm not always fond of mechanics but I can say that Ed at Crown Valley transmission is one of the few hard-working, ethical and nicest mechanics you've ever met. He was able to give me multiple options for what I needed and allowed me to choose what I was comfortable with. He also gave me some recommendations for matters I need to look at for the future but did not push anything on me. No upselling. Just honest and gave it to me straight. Definitely a diamond in the rough. I recommend anybody who has transmission problems to take your car to see Ed.

Ed and his crew at Crown Valley Transmissions recently rebuilt the transmission in my 66 Chevelle. I can't thank him enough for the quality of service and craftsmanship they put into the car. Ed treats every vehicle as if it were his own, providing the best possible results. Ed called me to keep me updated on the car, and when he found another repair that needed to be addressed he gave me options, and helped me decide what would best. (The car had been sitting the better part of 15 years). When I went to pick up the car, Ed took the time to show me the parts he had replaced, and answered all my questions. Best shop, best parts, best price, I can't say enough good things about my experience. Thank you!

Brought my 350z in to get a JWT Clutch installed. You could tell they knew what they were doing from talking to them. They did a great job, charged a fair price, and I'm definitely coming back for any future services I need.

Ed (the owner) is very honest when it comes to transmission work. I have had him rebuild several transmissions over the years and have always had a great experience! He has even sent me to another transmission source when it was a better option than having him rebuild it or service it. They are very accommodating working with my busy schedule especially with our service vehicles, getting them back on the road as fast as possible. No over promising and under delivering with this repair shop! They do what they say for the price they say it will cost! Very satisfied!

Our son is a young student at UC Irvine and his classic car needed some transmission work. After reviewing many transmission shops in the area we chose Ed and his group at Crown Valley based upon the prior reviews even though they were not the closest shop to the university. We cannot say enough positive things about dealing with Ed; he was extremely helpful, polite and respectful to our son (we live in Arizona) and accurate in his estimate for the rebuild. Additionally, he completed the work in three days and the car runs great! What a pleasant outcome for us as parents and for our son as a life experience in auto repair possibilities.Ed went above and beyond our past histories with other auto shops and made it a personal experience of professionalism at its utmost!

Ed and his crew fixed me up with a complete transmission rebuild on my F150 for a very competitive price. I dropped it off Thursday and picked it up on Monday (two days earlier than expected). They upgraded some parts in the trans that are known to fail at no additional cost. Great service and a friendly staff.Now I have to hit them up to work on a '59 Ford trans that has no reverse.

What a great experience at Crown Valley Transmission. I took my 325Ci convertable in. Ed the owner was extremely knowledgeable and was able to diagnos my car in minutes. He is a genuine guy; one who is not looking to rip people off to make a buck. Instead, he provides excellent service and actually took the time to explain what my transmission problem was and what he did to fix it. I went in expecting to pay thousands of dollars on a transmission re-build, instead, i spent a few hundred dollars on the real issue.Thank you Ed! I will praise your work to all my friends and family.

This is now the second time I ve been to see in Donna, crown valley Transmission .Highly recommended by a friend, just drove away earlier today, every simple transmission service Ed, is the real deal ! Nothing better in the world than a mechanic that you can trust !My 2003 Chevy Tahoe seems to run like new again , I highly recommend this business !!

Had some transmission problems and brought my car in on a Thursday. Unfortunately the transmission had to be rebuilt, but my car was ready the following Tuesday. No problems so far. Ed is great and gave us a fair price. Thanks guys!

Genius in his field of expertise. I am floored at the amount of factual knowledge he has for every aspect of a transmission system. I work in the commercial/industrial electrical sector so I know a mechanical genius when I see one. He diagnosed two of my vehicles in one day. You wont find better, trust me call.

The transmission failed the day before our family vacation on our primary family mini van - a 2006 Kia Sedona. I was anxious about what to do. Do I sell it and get a new (used) vehicle or do I bite the bullet and pay the costs to have it repaired with the hopes that I won't get ripped off? I'm glad I opted to get it repaired. I was referred to Ed at Crown Valley Transmission by my main mechanic, Carl at Import Specialties.Needless to say Ed did a fine job on the repairs. I highly recommend Crown Valley Transmission.

After taking the car to a more local repair place and describing the problem in detail, only to be told (without apparent evaluation) that the tranny needed to be completely rebuilt ($3k-$4k), we took the car to Crown Valley T for a second opinion. There we again described the problem (car behavior, ODB error code, possible problems via google search). But this time, they actually did the diagnosis and in the end discovered a faulty solenoid, which cost ~$400 to replace (1/10th the previous estimate.Didn't hurt that the owner who waited on us was friendly, courteous, professional and did the work faster than promised. Wish that all car repairs were as painless as this. Maybe 'painless' is the wrong word, but it was a very satisfactory exchange of expertise and service for the $. No question, we'll be repeat customers.

Great service truly. I didn't actually get a service cuz the owner suggested the transmission was OK I. E. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Honest service on this day and age? Yep... From these guys for sure. Thank you!

We broke down in Cali and the owner was so nice and helpful. We didn't get our repair done their but he diagnosed us and if ever in the area he is definitely the place to go. Very knowledgeable and fair. :-)

Got my 2003 suburban transmission fluid replaced. Started at 8AM and finished by 8:50AM. Great service and really friendly. Dont go anywhere else
