I was in a dire situation with my car overheating and stuck in a spot with poor cell reception. The staff at this Autozone was beyond helpful and kind in looking at my vehicle and recommending shops in the area. When I was stranded in their parking lot for 6 hours waiting for a tow, Sal gave me his personal external battery to charge my cell, cold bottles of water and everyone continued to check on me. In my book, kindness goes a long way, especially these days, and I truly appreciate how this store went above and beyond. Thank you!

Bruce was a life saver. U-joint broke on my custom drivetrain van and he helped me measure it out, identify which one I needed, and guided me with outstanding knowledge and experience in replacing it. Would not be on the road right now if it wasn't for him.

Today I returned a part that failed under warranty. I was told by the manager yes it is under warranty but you will have to come back later cause we don t have 90 dollars cash on hand. It is bad enough I had to waste my time removing the part that failed and bring it back to the store but now I get to waste my entire day messing with this. I don t have to explain what is done if there isn t enough cash on hand for a return as it is very simple . The manager goes and pulls money to cover the transaction unless he is to lazy and has no respect for his customers or their time then he tells them to come back later. He said after 1:00 pm he will have cash.This is an update to the above review.It is now 6:00 I return to the store and ask to return the defective item the manager says we don t have any cash maybe you should come back on the weekend . I ask if he could just put the balance on my card he said no come back on the weekend. If that isn t poor customer service then I don t know what is.This was the last straw for me I will throw it in the trash before I waste my time coming here again. Thanks auto zone that is how to treat your customers if you want to lose them forever

Bruce is literally the man! Customer service is five star, he always greets us with awesome energy making it hard for us to leave right away. He is a book of knowledge. Every single time we have had car troubles or needed anything in regards to our vehicles, we call and Bruce and his team make sure we are taken care of. I love having a local shop that makes us feel like home every time we walk in, it wouldn't be possible without Bruce. Thank you Bruce for everything.

We came in for snow chains for our tires and Bruce was so, so helpful! He sized our tires and took the time to teach us how to put them on! Wow!!! He went above and beyond in customer service to assist us. Highly recommend Bruce!!!! THANK YOU!

This place is a joke and if your looking for getting into a potential problem with wrong parts or defective product and no help or customer service or support then go spend/ waste your time and money there. I will never recommend or step foot in that place again. They are a total rip-off and shouldn't be in business. Worst auto parts store I have ever walked in to. Enter at your own risk. I filed a complaint with their corporate office and was apologized too profusely for my whole encounter with that store and staff and have been assured that my refund will be processed immediately and arrangements will be made for me to return the items with no cost to me. Even though Auto Zone corporate fixed the problem I still won't shop or recommend that Auto Zone store to anyone.

Called before going in to see if my battery was still under warranty they said yes and would swap it for me so I paid for an Uber but once I get there the guy told me they would only swap it for me after they charged and tested it which would take an hour. Super annoying since I paid for an Uber and wasn t told about this prior. Waste of time, useless staff.

I asked the manager about a courtesy and he said we re not doing that right now , I worked for AUTOZONE for 4 years and then left to serve my country and never once heard of AUTOZONE not honoring veterans. On top of that I had to remind the manager to put in my phone number for rewards, and never once saw him offer check out challenge. Terrible salesmanship and unmotivated leadership, I ll be taking my business elsewhere.

horrible experience with this guy name zelle? he didn't even have his batch on, I bought a battery last week, it came out defective, he just didn't want to change it, he told me tha I have to go to the store where I bought it from I went to 2 different stores just to ask what he tell me and they al told me the he was wrong,

The Auto Zone in San Clemente has the best customer service & care than any in the areas of the area I live in South Orange County. Bruce & Melanie have gone above & beyond for myself & customers with their customer service & educating me on the parts I've need to buy for multiple vehicles I have. They are incredibly helpful, as is there entire staff is too. They make it easy to come to a parts store without feeling like I'm lost in there. I highly recommend this Auto Zone. It's definitely worth the drive!

On vacation from Arizona. Was driving from San Diego to Orange County and my wheel bearing went out! We get there and find out the problem was even worse! The wheel hub was falling apart and my brake caliper came lose!! Somehow I fell to the beat autozone experience I ve ever had!! Bruce was very knowledgeable and friendly. In a time of stress, he helped me feel like this was minor and sure enough we were back on the road shortly. Thank you guys! We need this back in Arizona!

Amazing! Our battery had issues the night before we had to head back home from our week in San Clemente and we stopped by AutoZone to get it checked out. Jonathan jumped right on it, discovered the problem, was above and beyond helpful and great to chat with while he swapped our battery out. Top notch crew at SC AutoZone!

The best in town! Mel is the best. She has saved me from being grounded in the driveway more than once. Sia was extremely helpful. Checked my rotors on my Land Cruiser and showed me that I needed them replaced. I would have only bought pads, and drove 40 miles to my mechanic and had to turn around and come back. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

The guys here are super helpful and always willing to give advice. I did a custom madenair filter for 2 cars and we sat in their parking lot all day running in and out. They made sure that we hadn't completely obliterated the engine a few times as well!!

Very poor customer service! I called ahead of time to see if they would install a new car battery. I talked to Adrian. He told me to come by at 11:30 am. I went in there and asked if they could check my old car battery first. He said yes. I waited a half hour while he waited on 2 customers ahead of me. He took his sweet time. Then when it was my turn, he started to wait on some guy who came in 20 mins after me. I told him that I would just go to O'Reilly instead. They didnt care cause Adrian just didnt want to come outside in the hot sun! Adrian should be fired! Autozone is guilty of False Advertizing!!! They should not advertise anything that they can't deliver!

Kevin and Jesus where really helpful. It's a Sunday almost closing hours and they let me borrow their tools. Jesus and Kevin waited for me until I completed my job. Traveling from San Diego to Los Angeles. It was hose problem. My pick up was overheating. Thanks to them going home.

This is third time unfortunately came here. The staff are the worst people ever. Kind service nobody deserve. They don t care customer. (Latin staff ) Even they denied the part at transfer to other store. So shame

Older hot rods confused them all... Just needed a high torque me mini starter for a 350ci Chev.... In a El Camino... Chevy never made an El Camino with a 350.... You are correct. Do you have the starter? No way to look it up.....

Came in early Sunday to get filters, pads, etc., for Audi A 3. Knew they would have to be delivered. Counter guy said order would be in after 1:30 and that he would call. No call. Wife went by at 2:30. Was asked what was in the order. She called me, I talked to the new counter guy, said, "What?." Don't you know what you ordered for me this morning and put in your computer?""Sorry,that guy isn't working now."Bottom line is that they couldn't regular maintenance parts for a common car in 24 hours (no more delivers today). I've got to cancel my appt. for the work.
