When I see a business taking the effort and pride on how they appear to the public from the street, I can generally be assured that they will perform accordingly in their services. San Carlos Auto Solutions is a small, well lit, clean and neat shop. There are no piles of trash or rags. The shop is safe for the mechanics to do their work. The mechanics are knowledgeable and straightforward with the customers. Their prices for services are competitive. The work on my vehicle was done when promised. The owner and his employees are car enthusiasts, and take pride in their work. I highly recommend this business for serving your own vehicle.

Brought my wife's Lexus IS250 in for a carbon cleaning - honestly it's pretty hard to find a shop that would do it on a non-german car, but Kenneth and his team were very accommodating. The work was done quickly and I was able to pick my car up the next day as promised. I'll definitely becoming back here for future service!

I took an Audi Q5 (now my daughter s) here for a pre-purchase inspection. Kenneth presented a detailed report and explained all points of interest on the vehicle. I highly recommend Kenneth and his shop.

Kenneth and the crew are top notch. The first thing you notice when you arrive is just how clean and organized the shop is. I wish all independent repair shop looked like this.I brought my M2 in multiple times for service and upgrades, they ve always accommodate my busy schedule and gave me an honest turnaround time.I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Kenneth stuck with me on a very difficult smog test situation with a 328I that should NEVER have been a problem. This included uncompensated time and some materials. Way above and beyond. Finally a solution that required taking the gas tank out. BMW was no help at ALL.

I would highly suggest San Carlos Auto Solutions; they were transparent, knowledgeable, thorough, patient and fast. We specifically drove from San Francisco twice because of their knowledge on VW Eurovans. We took Kenneth a 1999 VW Eurovan for a pre-purchase inspection (PPI). He gave us a non-expiring link to a Digital inspection with photos, clear explanations, suggestions as well as links to informational videos. This simple-to-share link gave us the resources, knowledge and bargaining power to make fact based offers to the seller. His PPI saved us lots of money, time and headaches. When we took him a 1995 VW Eurovan he clearly explained the problems with the van and gave us repair suggestions tailored to our upcoming road trip and very importantly, our very limited budget. I would recommend Kenneth to anyone who needs their car inspected, especially if you have a Eurovan .

AMAZING SHOP! I truly cannot recommend this auto shop enough. My car broke down in the Bay Area on Super Bowl Sunday 2023. My car needed to be towed somewhere to get fixed, so I reached out to the shop my boyfriend's family uses: San Carlos Auto Solutions. Kenneth ended up answering the phone on Sunday (which I was not expecting but was so thankful for) and told me that he would ensure my car gets addressed the next day. I was able to tow my car to the shop Sunday night and received a call from Kenneth Monday morning telling me the diagnosis of my car. They had it fixed by 3pm Monday. I could not believe how well they communicated with me, how competent they were in servicing my car, and more importantly the timely manner in which they could fix it. Kenny and Prince are awesome. They are very friendly, caring, and efficient. They always make time for me when my cars is in need for repairs. They quickly find the cause, call me to discuss what needs to be repaired and the cost, even send pictures, and take the time to answer any questions I may have. There shop is so clean snd organized. Oh! and we can't forget Mom (Kevins), she too is one of the sweetest lady. She greets you too when you bring your car with a warm welcome and answers any questions you may have. Every time I take my car to Kenneth I am so thankful to have this business close to home. He is so professional, as are the people he has hired. He addresses any issues we have promptly and does his best to fit us in quickly. He resolves the problem each time and does a great job. I know that he is honest and does not add on unnecessary work. He reliably keeps track of all the maintenance on our car and communicates clearly about what needs to be done now, or can wait a bit. I know that I am in good hands. Thank you so much Kenneth! Great first experience with them. I have a work schedule that wouldn t let me drop off/ pick up my car during regular business hours and so all my communication was over the phone. Even still they were very thorough in explaining the work done and had great communication. I had a great experience. I had them fix some suspension, change brake pads, install tires and align my Porsche Cayman. Kenneth and his team texted me issues though out the process, told me about problems and decisions that needed to be made and were flexible when we found parts would need to be ordered. Sent many photos. Also, it s great when you get to work with other car enthusiasts and have a passion for sports cars. Will definitely be coming back.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

I had a great experience with everyone at SCAS! I had an oil change and transmission fluid flush performed there two weeks ago. On the day of service I dropped my car off with Prince, who was extremely friendly and worked with my tight schedule to have my car ready in two hours. Kenneth and the San Carlos Auto Solutions team were amazing! One of the best experiences I've ever had with an auto shop. First, Kenneth squeezed us in last minute to fit our schedule, then he was so helpful in diagnosing and addressing our issues (he provided a thorough quote and got approval before doing any work), he was so communicative throughout and was all around just really nice to work with. The car is now in great shape thanks to San Carlos Auto Solutions' excellent work I would absolutely use them again and encourage anyone in the area to as well!Service: Brakes

Kenneth is one of those owners you are always happy to work with. I just needed my two front tires replaced this time but had them ordered and ready to install faster than I could get there. He knows his tires and got me tires that made more sense than the run-flat ones I had. Service was fast and he remembers stories about my other car that I had even forgot the details of. Kenneth, the owner, is extremely friendly and patient. Their customer service is top notch! I had my Bilstein B12 pro kit installed and it took a few attempts to make the alignment center to the steering wheel. I appreciated Kenneth's patience per my request of very subtle adjustments. Kenneth and his technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely have my car taken care of at this place.

I received nothing but instant spontaneous automotive support in real time five star service within this San Carlos Service Garage. I actually was driving my Ford van in San Carlos and instantly realized that I had lost all power in my FORD VAN (radio instantly shut down as well as all of my vehicle dash gauges, horn and blinkers.) Therefore I knew from a previous experience it was my alternator and that I had to find a automotive repair shop quickly before I would be completely stranded somewhere and needing to be towed. But I actually pulled into this San Carlos garage and spoke with TIM the Manager (while my Van was still running) and he agreed to work on my van. And it was only a few seconds later that my van completely stopped running. YES, just as I predicted my alternator had to be replaced. Bottomline Tim s shop owned my problem, ordered the appropriate alternator and installed it accordingly the next morning. I was up and running within twelve hours or so, no appointment but rather a complete turnkey emergency repair service. On a scale from 1 to 10 they were off the charts and exceeded my definition of what it means to offer SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Tim and his Team were simply amazing and very fair from a cost perspective.Service: Electrical repair

I have brought my car into San Carlos Auto Solutions multiple times over the last few years. Every time I come in the people are kind and professional, the turnaround time is quick, and the results are exceptional. I especially appreciate that they understand my budget and are very transparent and honest about repairs that are absolutely necessary. Highly recommend!
