Carolyn, Christian, & Arvin were awesome!! Carolyn was very transparent & professional, she conducted the estimate which made the process easy & simple. I have other work that needs to be done to my car, which Carolyn went above and beyond to refer me to another car shop for assistance.Christian & Arvin were total experts with vast knowledge about body repair & dings.My car looks better now then ever these guys Rock, I would come back if need be.Service: Body & Trim

The team has very good communication skills.Often times repairs take long than expected. There are many different variables when fixing cars. This shop let me know in a clear manner how much time it would take and they would update me when there is changes. The best part is that they would call me first.Service: Body & Trim

This is the he only body shop I try have received the best service from after a collision. Thomas was very helpful and amazing They go above and beyond, and pay huge attention to detail. It was an honor to meet Rick from the first day and the service and quality here is the best. They didn t have my car for a long time and they are about business here. I am honestly blown away. I am more than happy to only do business with CARSTAR Chilton but the San Bruno location specifically because they are the best!

Since I arrived to Chilton, I was greeted with excellent service. Christian helped me through the initial process in explaining everything regarding my car s repairs. His expertise what was to be repaired and empathy regarding my fender bender helped ease the experience. He also called and kept me updated with the car s progress. When I went to pick up my car once it was repaired, Caroline and Irwin were clear and transparent with the repairs and warranty of the car. Both of them were so kind and thoughtful. Damaged car was taken to this business...but car was totaled, so didn't get to use their service at this time. But the staff working there were great. Kept me informed about my car, and even called to let me know that I left something behind of personal value in the car and said I should come back and get it. And fyi - I did take this car several years ago to this business when it got a dent from someone trying to parallel park. Work was done perfectly at that time.

This shop hands down is by far one of the best Body Shops operations in California. Highly recommended. I was involved in a hit and run incident. The team took my car in right away and completed all the body repairs in 2 days despite having a very busy schedule.Their shop manager Christian is one of the most knowledgeable and friendliest people you will ever meet. He personally went to go pick up a part for my vehicle at 5:00 a.m. in the morning just so I can have my car back ahead of schedule. He kept me updated throughout the process. Definitely doesn't get any better than that.Also thank you to their GM James who helped deliver the vehicle and ensure I had no additional questions.I recommend this body shop to everybody. Great place. Good people: courteous, friendly and explain things thoroughly and clearly. Very helpful. They texted/called to report on progress more than once so I always knew what was going on. Work was completed when they said it would be. Quality of work was excellent. They also washed the car and even did some detailing. I ve used their services before and it s always been excellent. 5 stars in all respects and highly recommended.Service: Body & Trim

I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have their engine or body serviced. Picked up my car this past Friday and I thought they did a great job. They called to ask about a review I'd given and were not only very respectful of my answer, but they asked how they can do better. My car was vandalized and I was not prepared for how traumatizing an experience like that would leave me. I felt further violated by the way AAA was treating me and how they had the auto body question me about the car. So I rated the auto body based on how AAA asked them to handle my claim. You can do your job, but there's also a way to do it. The respect the auto body manager showed me when following up on how I rated them and how they can do better, made me really feel heard. Absolutely top tier service and crew. I'd recommend them to anyone.Service: Body & Trim

They always communicate to the client, deliver their finished job on time if not ahead of the estimated time frame, and competent. I highly recommended the Chilton San Bruno.

My 2nd time coming back here because my new 2023 Camry needed rear bumper replacement. Arvin n staff was professional and my Camry was taken care of within 2 days. I took my car into CARSTAR Chilton Auto Body San Bruno for repairs. The staff is friendly and efficient. I was given a quote and it was reasonable. I was told that it would be 2 to 3 business days. I was notified by text of the progress and got my car back in 1 day and it had been cleaned inside and out. I have taken my car here before and it is now my preferred autobody repair shop.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Christian, Chris, and the team were very helpful and easy to work with. The shop was easy to contact via phone, and they kept me updated with the progress of my repair. They also helped arrange my rental. My car was done the next day (one day ahead of the estimate), and everything looks great. What should have been a very easy repair and paint job turned into a stressful ordeal and a major inconvenience. I took my Toyota Prerunner truck to Chilton in San Bruno, and what I got was a bad quality, sloppy, and rushed job. When I picked up my truck I was in a rush because I was leaving to go out of town, something I made very clear. When I returned and looked at it in detail I could not believe my eyes. Everyone that saw my repair said the same thing. How could a professional, highly rated, autobody shop do such bad and careless work? The part that was replaced had a bump under it that stood out like a sore thumb, and it s mind boggling to me how a manager could ve signed off on such a horrible job. In addition to that, the paint job was so sloppy with bumps and lumps everywhere, it almost looked like the paint was allowed to run and then dry. Naturally I left a bad review and was contacted immediately by the manager. I told him my issues and he told me to bring it back because he wanted to make it right. He even offered me a rent a car which I declined in good faith. I dropped my truck off again on Thursday July 14, and was contacted right before their closing time the next day that my truck was ready to be picked up. Naturally I expected that the manager would be there to show me that the repairs were done correctly and to make sure that I was a happy customer. That did not happen. I was given my keys by another employee and that was it. To top it all off, the issue was not even corrected. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this body shop and will never use them again. I will also be letting my friends, family, and AAA know of my experience.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

After my car was vandalized by being keyed in the city while getting a COVID Vaccine. The team at Chilton really did an outstanding job. There customers service was great. Very polite and always keeping me in the loop. And we re very honest in what could happened regarding my insurance and how it was going to be fixed. Overall great team and work.Service: Painting

Went through insurance to make claim, my old bodyshop closed down so i used them. They finished the repair and paint very fast and called me before close, to pick up my car. The next day I noticed all the imperfections in the paint, unaligned body edges, other body parts that got damage in the process and the paint not matching to well. Supervisor blamed everything on the other bodyshop.You don't give a car back knowing you screwed up and hoping the customer doesn't notice. Had my car for 5 years, and yes i noticed and had to insist no excuses and they fix it asap.Will not use this place again.
