Bad experience, I don't wish it on anyone.I always thought that he was honest and he respected what he himself says.I think I'm not the only one with the same complaint, Julian does not validate the 6 month warranty. He sold me a rebuilt transmission that hadn't worked since the first day he got it installed. I took the truck to his workshop, thinking that he would respect the warranty, it was not like that, I had to pay him an extra $500.00 for work that he had to do to the transmission before selling it.Service: Transmission

Julian was great, very easy to communicate with in fact he would call me with regular updates. He rebuilt my transmission and even did extra work on my transfer case. The transmission runs like a champ. We did have a hiccup with the transfer case, but Julien had that fixed in no time at. I can tell you from our last snow we had in the mountains the transfer case and transmission felt solid!

1/6/2023"GREAT EXPERIENCE"Mr.Julian is a Very Nice & Honest Man.( His Wife Irene is Nice also). Julian repaired Trans for my brother's 2010 Impala.He is definitely a Man of His Word. *Prices were Reasonable. The Best Transmission Repair shop from the East to the West. Excellent work! Julian is very skilled and knowledgeable. I was very concerned for my 08 Audi A4, and now she drives like new! He fully rebuilt the CVT transmission. He gave good advice for future maintenance as well. Awesome service! Very honest and really fair pricing! My 2003 Dodge Cummins transmission gave out and what we tonight was going to be the biggest headache and pain to fix!!! Julian, the owner of Transmission Only helped me get my car back in excellent working condition. While talking to Julian about the work that needed to be done, he assured me that he will keep in communications with me regarding the car and that is exactly what he did. Julian informed me in every step he took and what needed to be done and the cost. He made sure I was in agreement with all procedures being done. I received the car in perfect working condition. Overall Julian is an honest man that takes great pride in his work and family and that can been seen on the amazing work done by him.

My transmission went out while visiting a friend in Highland. this was about 8,000 miles/18 months ago. Julian did a great job rebuilding my transmission. We worked on a day that I could tow it in, when he says parking is tight he means it. The work was done the day he said it would be ready and my 22yr old 4runner has been running smooth.Service: Transmission

Had some work done on an Automatic Toyota Rav4. Julian was able to help me out. Checked the computer, replaced solenoids, replaced drums and showed me all of his work. He was always very open with what he wanted to do and asked permission. Trustworthy honest gentleman. He saved my car and I would recommend his services.

Julian worked hard and diligently to rebuild our transmission and transfer case. There was a problem after a month or so but he honored his warranty, got us back into the shop and ultimately back on the road. Thanks guys.

Don't listen to any of the negitive reviews,I've been taking my cars to Julian +14 years, definitely NOT a back yard mechanic. Job is always done right,on time and with reasonable price. I refuse to go to any other shop he keeps my company truck running the best..he always backs his work %150.THANKS FOR EVERYTHING..

Great and honest work. Went to another place and said I need it major work on my transmission came here and had a second opinion and being they are honest they told me I actually didn't need all the major work. That's what you call being honest person. Highly recommend.

This has been by far the best experience I've ever had with a repair shop!!! They truly care about their customers and it shows. I brought my 2006 Mustang GT to have the transmission rebuilt, he not only rebuilt it but we added an shift kit and then replace the shifter since mine was broke. He also assisted in repairing me parking brake. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any kind of vehicle in for transmission repair. Do yourself a huge stress saver and take your care here, you won't be disappointed!!

Paid for a rebuild on my transmission and at that time Julian said that we will need to get the computer programed elsewhere. Which we did. Problems continued with the rebuilt transmission. When contacting Julian he said that the issue is in the bottom pan on the transmission which we didnt ask him to fix?!?! We brought the transmission to you to fix. What part of fix doesn t mean fix. ? Cash only, I paid $1900 for a faulty transmission. If you want a faulty transmission you can get one here. He now says the problem is the valve control body. Which is inside the transmission. He said he took it apart and cleaned it and did not test the solenoids that actually make the transmission work properly.

My transmission runs better than when I bought my car brand new. But what I needed most was help with my car warrantee agent. TrNsmissions Only dealt with them and got my transmission work covered and done! Thank you Julian and also his lovely wife (wonderful lady).

Had my car towed from aamco bec they wanted to charge me $3500 after i got it towed in for a "FREE DIAGNOSTICS" which was a trap. Called this place. Julian took the best care of me cost me $1800 for Parts and Labor. Found out my transmission needed a few more parts. Bill was $2300. Very happy i took it here. Most people dont kno but places like aamco charge by the part. Not by the part and not by the job. Well there is like 2000 something parts in a transmission. Needless to say i was very happy and i bring all my cars for even general service over to transmissions only!!

I'm from Los Angeles and while on my way up to Crestline to visit family the transmission on our 2005 Honda Odyssey went out in San Bernardino. Unfamiliar with the area we located Julian online. He was a total blessing. He was very knowledgeable and honest, the latter being a hard quality to find in many mechanics nowadays. I would definitely recommend Juian at Transmissions Only to all my family and friends...even if they are in Los Angeles because I know they will NOT be disappointed.
