The workers at Meineke Car Care Center are awesome. My family comes here (SB location) for their services because they are very honest about all they do. All recommendations aren't for extra income but for genuine services for your vehicle. I come at random times during the week for oil changes/tire rotation and it doesn't take more than an hour. The previous location I would attend always suggested things I didn't need (maybe because I'm a female and seemed clueless) but coming here I'm well taken care of.

Horrible new manager at my regular oil change place. Decided to try somewhere new. I WAY lucked out! Ozzie at Meineke was awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable, excellent customer service. Dave the mechanic was great too. Just down to earth, chill, nice guys who know how to run a business.

We live about an hour away, but had an issue with our emergency brake and needed immediate help to get us back on the road. Ozzy took great care of us, finding the problem and offering a reasonable rate to repair it. When we were unable to stay and fix the long term problem, he gave us a quick fix to ensure we would get home safely. He even offered to do the repair on another day when we had more time and agreed to put our original fee toward the repair cost.

I called before I had my truck towed here, and spoke with Ozzy. Up front, Ozzy was friendly and seemed genuinely like he wanted to help me out with my starter problem, and quoted $90 for a diagnostic, which I found to be substantially higher than most places I've been to. Against better judgement, I let the truck be towed here instead of the dealership, because of the big name, and because of how close it was to home. He called me later on to let me know that the starter needed to be replaced, quoting $1300, which again seemed substantially higher than even the dealership, and that it would be finished by the following day, more than 24 hours since I had it towed in. I reluctantly agreed, since towing it elsewhere would probably prolong the repair. Ozzy called again the following morning, just before noon, to tell me that he was still waiting on a part, and I reiterated that I needed my truck as soon as possible, because I needed it to get to work. He said that he was expecting the part by 4, and that he would expedite the repairs. He even called me again around 2, to tell me that he'd gotten the part earlier than he expected, and that it was likely that it would be finished by 5:30. But at 5:30, Ozzy calls to tell me that he didn't have the right part. 30 minutes before closing!?! He told me that he saved me $89 with this new part, as if that was my end goal. I asked for a loaner, and he told me that they had it loaned out, and referred me to Enterprise Rent a Car, which also closed in half an hour. I had to get picked up by Enterprise, rent a car, and drive to Meineke to pick up work equipment so that I could actually get to work the following morning. He didn't offer to pay for the rental, even though it was their fault they didn't get the right part, on top of only letting me know they needed to extend the time they needed to repair it at the last possible moment. His only solace was that I could use the money he saved me towards the rental. I paid over $1200 for parts and labor, and did not have my vehicle for three days. I lost out on one day of work, which would have netted me more than double how much he "saved me" for basically just ordering a part. Ozzy's only saving grace is that he remained apologetic throughout the entire debacle, and that he stayed after closing, so I could pick up my work equipment, and was also able to come pick me up from Enterprise when the vehicle was finally finished. I do not plan on ever bringing my truck to any Meineke location, ever again. I cannot stand to not have my vehicle for any extended amount of time, and for them to grossly underestimate the repair time like that seriously undermines my integrity with my own company, on top of costing me even more money because of limiting my potential to earn without a vehicle. Do yourself a favor and bring your vehicle to the actual dealership. The diagnostic will probably be cheaper, as well as the repairs. The probability of the dealership not having, or ordering the wrong part, will probably be less likely. And you can definitely expect them to be more accountable in getting you back on the road quickly. The hassle on my end was ridiculous, and I don't want others to suffer this place as I have.

Do NOT take your car here. You will be ripped off. I took it to this Meineke for a simple alignment and they lied to me saying that it was going to cost $1600 dollars to get it aligned because parts were wore out. I then took it to a different shop and they said my parts were fine and that it just needed to be tightened up. The other store charged me 80 dollars for the alignment. This Meineke charged me 90 just to get it inspected. They have the 1-800 number consumer affairs poster on their counter for a reason! And don't believe all these positive reviews! They're paid actors!My brother took his car here and sadly he didn't take it to a different shop and they messed up his car trying to fix it and then said they couldn't align it and that he would have to take it some where else! But at least he got good advice: "take it somewhere else."

I have used them now for 3 years for oil changes and regular maintenance. Ozzy is very helpful and will do what he can to give you a deal. I tried using them for other work and was not to impressed. They are a great lube oil and filter place. I am moving away and will miss doing business with them,

This shop has come thru for me a couple of times. I needed a water pump replaced ASAP. Ozzy found one and quickly got the ball rolling for me. I had my car back the next day. Since then, I've driven to Toronto (Canada) and back with no leaks from that pump. I recently was having a very intermittent seepage of air from one of my valve stems. I made a phone call and they quickly got me in and checked all my tires. Seems my "intermittent" tire had a dry rotted and cracked valve stem and the other 3 valve stems were so-so. Ozzy gave me a decent price on replacing all of them instead of just replacing my problem tire stem. The wait wasn't too bad considering it was a last minute appointment. Thanks again Meineke mechanics..I'd give you 5, but hey, nobody is perfect fellas...

Good, quality and honest work! However, I had 2 cars and spent some $8,000 bucks on repairs and the former Manager left abd now these new people in the office DO NOT know how to redeem points for free oil changes!!!! It is like they brought some ignorance with them!! Meineke, if you see this review, please train your office people on how to use the 5 Star system!! I have like 5,000 points stored and the Manager said he would call his Boss to ask how to redeem them but never did, so I had to spend $30 bucks that could've went to another bill! It is only people like me, who are faithful soldiers of Christ battling the odds night and day, that make a real difference in other people's lives!! Please better train your people so your customers feel appreciated and not SCREWED!!! Thanks!!!

I took my Mercedes e350 there this weekend to get my tires mounted and balanced and also my brakes done - I couldn't have asked for better service. Not only was chuck extremely courteous but also transparent. I'm always a little skeptical of people recommending additional work but chuck not only recommended me change my rotors but he also brought me into the garage when my car was lifted to measure the rotors. This is when I knew that I came to the right place. Chuck and his team bring back trust and confidence in to the independent car repair shop business.

I went here based on reviews I saw on Google. Even though my check engine light was on, all i went in for was an oil change. However, much more attention was needed under the hood so Ozzy brought me over to my car and explained to me what he believed the issue was. Although it all made sense to me, I don't have the money to fix it which is why the light is still on. They offer on the spot financing if you are out of payment options.

To start off all staff members were incredibly kind and professional. Not only did I get a oil change in good timing they were honest about any future maintenance that need to be done to the car. I will definitely refer all my family and friends.

Came in for an oil change on my Chevy. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. Then there was a small mix up about the oil to be used. That's when the new owner of this shop dropped everything he was doing, came out of his office after overhearing us talking, and jumped right in to help me. He made no excuses and no questions asked just stepped up to the plate and did everything he can to make sure I'm happy. This guy cares about his customers and now I'm a customer for life.

I do most of the work on my truck and I can't speak for their quality of work. However, there have been several occasions their customer service was able to help me free of charge and with a smile. The first was when I needed to fill my spare tire with air and the second was when I needed an o-ring. Friendly service.

The staff was polite and professional, especially this one employee named Daniel. Daniel invited me to see my brakes and rotors explaining what was going to be done and for what reason. He broke downs the costs and worked with me on a payment plan. He was also friendly and told some great jokes. There was almost no wait time, and the repairs only took an hour. I can't believe I've never heard of this meineke location before. The brakes work great and I'll most likely return.

Great mechanics, great office team - did an oil change but they helped me understand other issues goign on with the car. They helped obtain new drain plug, did not charge for all the good advice and suggestions, and were very up front about actual costs and repairs. Great team!!

Ozzy does a really great job at over estimating times so that if a job takes 15 mins and he estimates you 30 you are good to go however if something comes up like needing your approval on a part or anything else goes wrong the 30 min approximation is still accurate. The work they do is great I can actually count on them to give me decent quotes and reliable car care. There is a reason why I skip past a closer Meineke to go to this one over 3 time the distance away. They give suggestions for extra services based on what they observe nothing is forced and it's always given with the practical advice, such as , your brakes are bad and should be replaced you know how people drive around here do you think a couple extra feet breaking distance could help. The answer should be yes because it's a safety concern they brought up. The only cons are if it's crowded they may tell you to come back because the wait will be extra long, but it's your option to wait knowing that.

This is my second visit. I wont be taking my car anywhere else. They all are the greatest. Ozzie is kind, caring, explains everything clearly. I've never been happy with mechanics, being female, I usually get talked down to, and lied to.Meineke San Bernardino has treated me with the utmost respect and I know enough about cars to know I'm being told the truth. I got my transmission fixed by meineke sometime in March of 2020. Since then my receipt was lost or misplaced. So I contacted meineke customer care. They supposedly checked their system using my name and VIN # and couldn't find any receipts. I've been taking my truck their since I bought my truck for oil changes. So its kinda odd that all of a sudden they cannot find any receipts. I believe they are intentionally telling me that they cannot find receipts due to covid cause now they have to do the work under Warranty. Its a loss of money for them. If I could give them a ZERO I would.

Meineke Over the years have provided me and my family with excellent customer service and goes the extra mile to give us discounts and deals. The staff is super friendly and honest. I like the fact that beleive in God. I would highly recommend them for all your oil change and auto parts.

I called ahead of time to ask for a free quote for my girlfriends car and even tho it was about 20 mins before closing time, he still told me to come on down so he can check it out! . Professional business and with a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to fix there car! - Modesto

I'm so happy with my service here in San Bernardino. I get my oil change here all the time. Excellent, quick service. I even got my 4 new tires here. I received a card 4 oil changes and my 5th is free, today it's free. What awesome place, told me I have a nail in my tire told me relax don't worry he will check everything else in my car, they care about you, thank you Ozzie you'rd the best:)

My dodge journey was vandalized while getting work done at this location. My license plates were stolen off the vehicle which the manager Tom told me about a month later after it happened but the company failed to tell me that my driver side window was broken out and my personal belongings were stolen out of my car including paper work and my registration that were in the glove box!! The right side front bumper has a big scrape that was never there before as well. This company didn't even report this or file a police report with the San Bernardino police depart because I called and there was no report on file. Very unprofessional!!! I guess they thought I wouldn't realize the new window they put in was a different manufacture and then put my hand under the seat to find piles of broken glass!! Good thing I was smart enough to take pictures of m vehicle before letting this company take it. I would not recommend anyone to go here!!!

I showed up after closing. Asked the manager Patrick if he could take a mental note and let me bring in my car for the 100,000 mile maintenance. He smiled and said maam appointment made lol.Patrick was very professional yet friendly. I was I communicated with every step of the way. My mind was put at ease when I realized that they were not going to try and get me to pay for a lot of unnecessary work. (being a way past middle age woman is difficult. I usually ask a man to take my car in).The experience was wonderful and my grandsons car is a 2014 and needs servicing. as soon. as i can financially, I will be making an appointment. Go see Patrick. he will take good care of you and his tech does great work.they are located in San Bernardino just behind camping world. off of hospitality. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!

Always a great experience! Ozzy and the team always take care of me, I don't trust anyone else. Their financing options have saved me from draining my savings more than once. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Complete lack of accountability for errors that they made. I know how my car was before, so don't try and convince me that the things that your technicians inadvertently messed up while addressing my repairs "were always there."Careless mechanics completely stripped insulation from around my headlight and tried to convince me that that's how I brought it in. Then, they dislocated my hood latch so that it's almost completely unreachable and tried to once again convince me "that was how it was when you brought it in."I know my car. I may not be a mechanic but I know what I know, and I know how I brought it in versus how they returned it to me.A simple sorry would go a lot further than complete denial of mistakes that they made.Poor poor management and lack of integrity by Ozzy.

Recently took my car in not knowing what issues were going on. The staff was Super professional in handling my car and letting me know what the issues were, even breaking down what to priotitize if I couldn't fix everything same day. Car runs incredibly now thanks to their work.

i've been my own mechanic since high school, except for the really in depth stuff. ive also taken my car to shops all over. ive been ripped off on labor, had my car tampered with and lied to so i could return to the shop and they could charge more. new parts stolen off and replaced by junk parks so the shop could cut costs of ordering parts. talked into a replacement that doesnt need replacing, you name it. this shop though, out of this world.. ozzy and master tech david absolutely amazing (i would ask for these guys, or minimum, get their opinion). honest, real, trustworthy, no trash out of these guys. they helped me replace the driveshaft on my car. i couldnt be happier! thanks guys, its no wonder why this shop gets such a good review. its the workers that make the shop and this is my spot for sure, thanks agian guys! -Red, 05 Mustang GT

I wont take my cars anywhere else. Ozzy will take care of you. And always remembers your name. Its nit jisy a business, but they make you feel like a friend. They never force a repair, and arnt pushy at all. Prices are reasonable, and they have never once beeb dishonest about repairs needed. They will even take you out and show you the exact problem.

In May of 2019 I took my 2004 Tioga motorhome in for some air conditioning work. They replaced the compressor, dryer and condensor. The ac worked fine until on a short trip to Calico for a weekend last May the ac didn't work at all. I attempted to call this shop but told that it was closed by Meineke corporate. The motorhome is now at another shop and they found that the bolt holding the hoses to the compressor had been over tightened and cracked the compressor housing and now I have to replace the compressor to the tune of over $1000.00+ due to Menekies incompetent technicians. Run away from these clowns. FAST!Service: A/C installation & repair
