I ve used this business several times and have in the past found them efficient and helpful. This last visit has left me unlikely to return. I spent nearly $2K to replace a set of tires and get an alignment. When the car was returned to me, the rear tires were underinflated by 3 and 6.5 lbs. When I called to note this, I received all kinds of excuses, including that it can take some time to settle . Obviously, this is rubbish. I can accurately inflate a tire with a $25 device in my driveway. Given the opportunity to apologize and take responsibility, I was met with defensiveness and ridiculous excuses. This makes me question the overall quality of their work if correctly inflating a set of tires is such a challenge. The nice valve stem caps I had bought for my car were not returned. The new tires have cheap, mismatched valve caps.

Damaged a $900 forged Lotus wheel by using a breaker bar to try to get the tire to seat. Fortunately I was able to stop them before they did even more damage.

I had a leak in my tire and I popped in there because it's super close to home. They were so great and so accommodating and so friendly. I need my brakes checked today and that's where I will be going. They definately earned my return business!

Great, honest, efficient service from people who have your best interest at heart. I have used Nick and his crew for years for all of my vehicles, and I have used his brother's shop in Santa Rosa when I had a fleet vehicle up there.Highly recommend.

Update: I had a slow leak in one of my tires. They took me in without an appointment and got it fixed in about 15 mins. Didn t charge me a cent. Will definitely recommend due to their awesome customer service!Saved a good chunk of money by getting my tires here instead of Costco. I didn t need an appointment and the cost of installation was included in the price (unlike Costco). The man working there was super nice and they got it done in about an hour!

Spent well over $1000 on tires there and immediately heard loud knocking coming from the front end, which was surprising that they didn t hear it, upon inspection days later they said axle parts are worn and need another $800 to fix. That seems a bit suspicious, however that wasn t the big issue. While inspecting the noise the tech was calling me names in Spanish to his coworkers and said I look like (bad word) and look like a coward and so on, but he didn t realize I speak perfect Spanish and understood every word. Unacceptable behavior at a place of business. The front desk guy apologized when I told him and said I can t control people in the back which is just a poor excuse at a place of business. Absolutely will not go there again and all should avoid a place that treats customers like this and who know what type of shady up charges they push through if they have such little respect for customers.

Excellent quality service at reasonable prices.Very friendly staff. Super knowledgeable owners, mechanics and employees. I brought my 2020 Ram Dodge diesel to California tires and wheels and they installed method rims, N-fab step up bars 35-in BFG all-terrain tires & a carli suspension 3 and 1/2 in lift. Driving away with my dream truck!! Thank you guys for the quality work at a great price.I will definitely come back for future business with my personal and work vehicles!! Super stoked!!

These guys may be newer than many of the shops in the area but their customer service and support is TOPS!It s a little tricky to get to the shop (being right at the hub ) on Sir Francis Drake Blv, but you won t regret doing business with California Tire & Wheel!

Nice guys, I had some minor work done there in the past. However, they sold me a bum tire that exploded while I was driving on the freeway. I didn't hit anything, I didn't do anything to the car/tires before driving, I was driving a normal speed and the right front tire just blew up. I tried to call about it several times and the guys that were working there when I bought it mysteriously disappeared so I couldn't talk to them. Pretty disappointing, I would recommend going someplace else.

Found their ad on CL, deal sounded great. Went in and Nick helped me out. Friendly and knowledgeable. Decided on a staggered set of Niche Surge 20s. Great price with Pirelli tires. Going back for another set.

This place is great. I bought my tires here and they do free rotations. I noticed my air pressure light was on so I rolled in and had them check for holes and rotate the tires. They took care of it no appointment, no cost. I do this every few months.

I was told at the dealership that my tires we "dangerously bald" and needed to be replaced, but I decided to go here because it is close to my house. The owner checked out my tires, showed me how to tell when they need to be replaced, and told me that I had about 5000 more miles before replacing. He could have easily made $1000 off me that day, but was honest with me instead. Every time I go here he is very friendly, helps me immediately, and is always completely honest. The customer service is top notch.

These guys are so, so great. I ve only had them to minor work, but every time I stop in, they are friendly, efficient, and accommodating. It is so very refreshing to find a business that operates on old school Patterns instead of mandatory appointments, inspection charges, strict rules about everything. Sometimes you just need your brakes checked are your tires rotated, and this is where I go. I ll be back soon for a break job. Thank you guys.

I live nearby and when I got into my car today my tire was nearly flat: I called Toyota and they said they can get me an appointment in three days. I called another tire store and they said they can get me in in four hours. I happen to be driving by the shop and pulled in and they had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. Excellent expedient service, very reasonable price,. I have just become a loyal customer! Thank you!

I've been here multiple times now and am a very satisfied customer. Their prices are great and they do quality work fast and keep you informed on whats going on. I'm very interested how things work and they always answer my questions when I come in for a wheel/tire swap, alignment, etc. It's nice to have a local tire shop I can trust with any of my needs.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NICK was extraordinarily helpful with unwavering patience & support all the way through a very complicated process.I thought I had all of the absolutely correct parts required to complete a major lift kit & wheel & tire project. I failed to provide 1 important component & another part wasn t exactly right.Nick ordered the parts & then had to stay in frequent contact with the supplier well over a month s time. Nick & I believe a very helpful person named Aziz & the entire crew had to keep the car in their garage well over a month & always supported me to not feel bad about this unfortunate occurrence. Nick & his team did an outstanding job completing the project while providing extremely friendly & supportive service. I highly highly recommend Nick & his entire crew at California Tire & Wheel

My daughter's new/used car needed new tires. I shopped around to several shops and but Nick found us a set that works perfectly. They have a sweet laser alignment machine so after putting on the tires and paying for an alignment the car drives like new. I highly recommend this shop for their willingness to find the right tires, giving a great price, and aligning a four-wheel-drive car perfectly. Highly recommend!They also refurbished her road rashed rims, and they look good. They didn't do the poly coat as the stock rims had, but for the price, they look much better!

They took care of my old work truck and I really appreciate that they had good tires on sale for a reasonable price. My radio station and volume were not changed, which is a subtle detail but I like stuff like that. I had a good experience.

Aziz and Nick are awesome and a far better, more reliable experience than the so-called price leader in San Rafael on 4th Street. No waiting. Fast service. Honest people. First time, I had a leak. They fixed it in 10 minutes. Second time, I thought I needed new tires. They said to come back in 10k miles. Third time, I needed a wheel balance. They pointed out how the 'other place' had installed my directional tires backwards and balanced them sloppily. And, they pointed out cracks in the front tires I would not have noticed, which could have been an issue in a high performance vehicle. Bought new fronts, got balanced. Runs smooth as silk. AND they made a recommendation regarding tire pressure that has taken the car to another level. One other note. They said it would take half an hour to do the install. Took them less than 15 minutes.

This place has the best deals on tires in Marin. I've never had to wait very long. These guys are quick! Much easier and faster than the other guys. Great service and tires are long lasting.

I had a great experience with Nick and Aziz. Helped replace a wheel on a car for my shop. Very helpful and knowledgeable, and mounted the tire right when I got there so that I didn't have to wait too long. Great business

Went in today to have pressure tire sensor replaced ln MBZ Wagon. Less than half of dealer cost to replace. Nick helped me, very efficient, courteous. I will be back when I need to purchase tires.

They are awesome! Best service in the business. From new tires , steering box,flat repair and wheel alignment. Plus new rims. This is the place to go. Best place in Marin for sure.
