This is truly the best place to go on the peninsula, if you are looking for excellence. They truly go the extra mile in their care for your vehicle. I don t have to second guess anything they fix, and even are easier on my pocket book. Richard, Stephen and all the mechanical geniuses Kudos always ..you all are the BEST!!!!

I was traveling to Salinas, Monterey Aquarium and VA Medical Hospital Palo Alto. Coming over Pacheco Pass my front end starting to shake and smoke on the driver's side wheel we'll. When I got to the John Steinbeck Housr I found this repair shop. I was having a full blown PTSD PANIC ATTACK. All staff, especially Mr. Leal, was kind and reassured me all would be well. They were amazingly kind and highly skilled mechanics. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this repair shop.

Not that great, I expected more from the technician that provided me with the Diagnostic service we had a different way of looking at the problem at hand. I was Quoted e very Unreasonable price . Please do your homework on YouTube and Google before you go to Gomez Auto ask for there's Rates before any work is done to your vehicle beforehand.

I enjoy having this company do work for me as they are easy to talk with and do NOT try to sell you on work you don't need like other places I've been to. My engine seemed to be over-heating on a trip through Salinas so I pulled in to Gomez Auto Repair, asking if they'd be so kind to check it out. They immediately did everything they could to find what could have been causing the problem. Everyone there is helpful, kind and friendly. It was some of the best customer service ever, and I also saw how kindly they treated every customer who walked in. I only wish that I wasn't just passing through! I called for a quote/estimate almost 3 weeks ago for a timing belt water pump job. 1st day I was told to called back the next day, I called the next day, was told they would get back to me later, called again later that day and I was told that they had my number and would call me back. I was never called back and this is disappointing as they did a good job last time, but remembering back, they also never called me back when I called for an estimate/quote and I just ended up taking my car there and waiting to see what they would charge.This shop does good work, but if you call for a quote or estimate and are informed they will call you back, in my experience, don't count on it. Considering the nature of the job I need done and want to keep my car running, I had to take my business somewhere else because I was never called back as I was told. Can't give this place a 1 star because last time I went they did a good job, but can't give it high ratings because neither time did they call me back like they said they would.Update/reply:I appreciate you reaching out to me Mr. Neto. The problem I had was that I was never left a message or ever did get a missed call from Gomez auto repair. Usually a message is left to call back. Should I be in need of another repair, I will call for a quote and go from there. Thanks again for the reply.

The service is very good. I always take my vehicle's to this shop. They know how to fix the problems that are causing the vehicle to not run. They have done my suspension to my vehicle's and I have never had any problems with it afterwards. Gomez Auto Repair never fails to come through with excellent service and a knowledgeable team who knows what they re doing. Been coming here for years and i ve never been let down. So I reached out to a few shops and Gomez Auto Repair was quick to respond and offer a good rate for labor. I have a set of rear brakes and rotors and needed a shop to take care of it for me. Not only did his shop have the best price, they have great communication, and clean shop. Highly recommend.

My son took his 94 S10 in. This is his first car. Our friend recommended it and coincidentally my father had gone there also. My son says they have a customer for life. He knows that since she bought an older truck it will need some TLC. He is confident that Steve and team are the right people for the job. Gracias

It was too good to be true and they lied to me about the total costs and threw in extra charges extra parts and extra labor fees throughout the time they worked on my vehicle. They did not fix the issue on my vehicle and squeezed as much money out of me as they could. I do not recommend this business to anyone. Do not come here

Amazing service at a good price! Solved all my vehicle needs and would contact me in a timely manner of the problems my car would need fixed with my authorization. Steven went above and beyond with even helping me with a towing service for my vehicle to take to the shop! Got in a wreck a few miles away from Gomez auto repair. My husband and I are in a time crunch since we are in the process of moving to alaska and have a timeframe in which we need to catch a ferry. We called urgentley and they fit us in with an already busy schedule on their part. They were so kind and so fast! They even recommended a place to eat while we waited and it was amazing! They were so kind and made small talk to us which really calmed our nerves. They were reassuring and perfection! More than highly reccomend!!!Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes
