I didn't need any auto work done. I was recently a victim of a hit and run. Someone smashed my bumper almost all the way off. Then, a guy scammed me with a fake patch job. I used bungee cords to hold the bumper on. I just wanted to see if the guys at this shop could check my bumper to make sure that it was safe on the road. I needed someone that I could trust. I decided to go to this place based on the reviews. And even though it wasn't something that they even do, AND the crew was on lunch, they checked my bumper, and used zip ties to secure it for me. They even declined my offer to pay them. Very kind people. I definitely recommend them!

To say I appreciate this shop and their team would be putting it lightly. I originally had brought my car in to get work on what I assumed was a slipped belt based on the smell I was smelling. Nope. Turns out it was a dead, fried cat in my car. I wish I could tip the poor mechanics to thank them for being the poor souls who had to take that out but since that isn't possible I am just going to be a loyal customer for life. I've since brought it in for an oil change and tire rotation. In both the original issue and following trip I felt the diagnosis treatment pricing and communication were all fair and thorough which I greatly appreciated especially having had negative experiences qith other sacramento mechanics as a woman.

I have had terrific service from the staff and mechanics at Auto Experts (30th Street, Sacramento). They are patient with regard to working with me when my car has problems and explaining what they find and how they will do the repairs. They are efficient (work gets done on time!) and very responsive to messages and phone calls. I live in the neighborhood where the shop is so it is super convenient for me; but it's the high quality of the staff that really keeps bringing me back.

Fantastic customer service! They truly put safety first! I wouldn t go anywhere else! The dealerships quote was 6k and they fixed it for $2300.

These guys are awesome! I came in to get my breaks serviced thinking I needed new pads/roders since my car kept notifying me of services due. I got help immediately and was told that my breaks were actually brand new and didn t need service. Miguel was able to reset my car system free of charge. I recommend coming here, since I could ve got scammed for services that I didn t end up needing. Best experience at an auto shop.

JT is the best! I rarely write reviews but I had to on this one. So please read! I took my car to another shop first and it was the worst experience ever, over priced and ended up making things worse and they didn't do anything about it. A friend laughed at me and said he won't let anyone touch his vehicles but JT. I know a decent amount about cars but JT is the man, he knows anything and everything. He told me the only vehicle he hasn't worked on yet is a Ferrari. Dang. He's super informative, gives great advice and tips, the pricing was good and my car has never been in better shape! JT brother, you will be the only one I go to and trust with my vehicles from now on!!! Thanks again!!!

My car kept stalling all of a sudden, so I took it to the Auto Experts. They were awesome! They were obviously so busy, but managed to diagnose and fix the problem. They explained everything thoroughly and saved me over $500 (at least) compared to what the dealer would have charged me. I had my car back the next morning. I really appreciated them going the extra mile during the holiday season! Hopefully next time I can make an appointment and not cause as much of an inconvenience. I will definitely use them in the future! Oh I almost forgot - I absolutely LOVE that they use a text messaging system to send a link with the diagnostic details as well.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I always take my 05 Silverado to this shop but figured I would check pricing at other shops with excellent reviews. Auto Experts had the best price yet again. And yet again their service was fast and completed early. Every time I shop around Auto Experts come in first. Excellent service.Excellent front desk -very helpful and accommodating. Shop around if you want or just go to Auto Experts and save money! Thanks Joe and team!

My partner and I have been taking our cars here here for years, and I am consistently impressed by the quality of work and the honesty of every employee here. It is such a relief to have a mechanic I trust with any issue I encounter. This was a really nice experience. It s hard being a woman and trusting an auto shop. I had previously been over quoted and pressed to do my brakes. Auto experts gave me a free inspection and pointed out I still had life on them (which was really great during this season) I will 100% go back here when i need the work done! They have a new life long customer !!Thank you for being so trustworthy and kind!

The associate who helped me was professional when I brought it in and seemed to know how to handleMy situation. Couple of things could ve been handled better after I had my car towed in. I wasn t aware of what any potential cost would be for the diagnostic test if my warranty did cover the repair. They rolled down my front windows but didn t put them back up before I had to have to car towed back. I was unable to roll up the drivers side window because I didn t have any power in the car. Also my first name continues to be spelled incorrectly. Other than those things I believe they could get the job done should I need to take my car back in.

I brought them my wife's GL450 because of a coolant leak. They tightened all the fittings, pressure tested the system, and found nothing wrong.They did all that work and then didn't charge me anything for it. They were helpful and professional. Plus when I picked up the car they even bought a whole bunch of my daughter's girl scout cookies too!Thanks again you guys, we will be back again.

This place had excellent service. I had a serious puncture to my tire from a screw that got lodged in. I was potentially looking at having to replace all 4 tires because it's an all wheel drive, but Joe was diligent and super helpful. Since the tires I have were still pretty new he made calls around to see if we could find the same tire and just replace the one. Then when that seemed like it wasn't going to happen, he was able to patch the tire himself. Will definitely return the next time I need to service my vehicle.Service: Tires

Check engine light and oil light came on. Had car towed. They called as soon as car arrived to confirm requested repair and within an hour had sent a text advising what needed to be done with charges. I brought my older car in for a tune up. I dropped it off, and a few hours later, I got a text with all of the recommendations for repairs. I was able to approve or deny what I wanted completed. Super easy and appreciated the photos/cost break down/description over text communication vs a call with less details. My car is running great and the staff was super friendly. (see update below) Wow. My son just paid $179 to have these people tell him they want to install a new hybrid battery for his Prius, plus other services which we didn't even ask them to check, all for over $3K. I had a feeling they hadn't even checked the regular 12 volt battery, so I called AAA, sure enough the battery was connected wrong, but AAA came through as usual. Not going back to the "Auto experts" again.** Update: changing to 4 stars, because the shop responded immediately and refunded their diagnostic fee which I very much appreciate. The hybrid battery issue they found was correct. Just 2 complaints, they didn't check the 12v battery, and it bugs me when shops check other items that you didn't ask for. But otherwise good

I m someone who HATES taking their car in. Top 5 least favorite activity. But the guys at Auto Experts made it quick and painless. I called them since they were the closest shop to me and my tire was dangerously low. I knew I had a leak so I called to get a quote the day before. They didn t require me to make an appointment. When I went in the following day, they told me is was going to take about 45 or so minutes since it was mid afternoon and it looked like they had a lot going on. I think they ended up getting me in and out of there in about half that or less. Everyone was very friendly and their waiting area was clean and cool. After my battery died during the weekend, Joe from Auto Experts drove to my house to charge the battery and get it to his location early on Monday. That saved me the hassle of calling someone to help me, walking home from his shop (about 3 miles), and getting a ride there when it was fixed. I was made to feel like an important and welcomed as a customer right away. I was also dealing with a difficult situation regarding my insurance and each person that I spoke with at the Auto Experts was able to take the time and work with me regarding this. They even reached out to my insurance to help move things along. It was nice to see a company with these core values and also with the acknowledgment that communication is vital important and necessary. I was a first time customer over the last week, and they treated me like I wasn t which was important for me as I m on the spectrum. They were very kind and helpful to me, they answered all my questions, and communicated with me very directly about what time I needed to pick up my car. I accidentally ran late and they still fit me in. Thank you for being kind people! I always take my car to The Auto Experts. They are always so helpful and honest. If they can save you money, they will! I recently had an issue with my car that I wasn t aware was covered under an extended warranty and they told me to take it to the dealer so that I could get it replaced for free. I absolutely recommend them!

We have been working with this shop for almost 3 years. I appreciate their transparency with why they are suggesting certain work to be done on our car(s). Not pushy about things either. It s also great being able to get an appointment at the last minute too. The Auto Experts provide amazing quality service and I highly recommend them. They recently squeezed in my Jeep on short notice, which had a radiator problem, and got to work on it quickly. They provided an inspection report with pictures via email and gave me time to review it, so I didn't feel rushed into making a decision. With their standard courtesy inspection, they also found a couple of overdue maintenance tasks. The work was quickly done and the prices reasonable. Joe was particularly great, taking time to answer my questions and keeping me in the loop. My car had been "driving rough" and making a sound for a bit. It increased to the point I truly did not think I should even drive it. Called late Weds afternoon, was told they could/would squeeze me in (as I was still driving to/from work) if I brought it afterwork on Thurs. I arrived late Thurs (4:30'ish), by 8:45 a.m. Friday I received a full diagnostic & estimate for repair . I called in and spoke about what was wrong:(bearings, wheel hub,cracked stabilizer bar(s) a total mess), what needed to be repaired immediately and what I could hold off on (if anything). I didn't feel pressured, in any way & believe I was given honest, true & accurate info (no upselling). My vehicle was ready for pick up by early afternoon. And let me tell you, I feel like I'm driving a brand new car!
